In Nica's Shadow

NOTE: This story is discontinued and completed. It was written at a time I was very sick and thought. It would not turn out well. I have shifted the energy of writing to a new story that is a more intense form of BDSM and romance but doesn't delve as deeply in pending death and doom. In the realm where mortals tread, I observe their frantic scurrying, stumbling from grace, and bowing before false deities. They sacrifice kin and companions, seeking fleeting solace. The art of traversing known realms and conquering fear eludes them. I have allowed them to wander aimlessly for far too long. The foul scent of hope pollutes the world as they yield to fear, devoid of valor and pride. I dispatched my begotten sons, time and again, to seduce and ravage the sins of the masses, heralding an era of death and desire. Plagues and wars unfurled as my sons painted the world in chaos. A sly grin emerges upon my lips, for I delight in the spectacle. It reminds me of a nursery rhyme from a bygone era, whispered at a child's bedside. The darkness weaves strange reminiscences of the bittersweet. A child afflicted by plague's boils and the mother's dread realization of transmitting her malady. Through the ages, naught has changed since their first steps upon the earth. Agony and despair linger in the air, the essence and longing of existence. Amidst the apparent serenity, a subtle note of turmoil wafts—a melody of corrupted souls. For even in their docility, these creations can wield ruthlessness. Alas, they revere strength, unaware that the mightiest often shatter, crying like infants as their bones snap between my fingers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Should you seek a tale of systematic oppression, generational torment, vile assault, and the macabre, I extend an invitation to the narrative of innocence's demise—the beauty found within life's darkest corners. The battle yet wages, and perchance, as my final thoughts manifest, redemption shall unfold its melodic strains. Or perchance, I shall pen their ultimate sentence—an exquisite requiem, unbridling my vengeance in the shadows cast by Nica.

CH 20 - Lily's Protection

Lily trembles as she weeps in her sleep. She is barely conscious of her surroundings as her mind slowly begins to wake. A sense of terror washes over Lily's mind as the nightmare of Sera enters her mind once more. For a moment, how Sera looked identical to Lily causes slow tremors in her body as she begins to sob.

Before her emotions overwhelm Lily's mind, she feels a slight movement of a hand traveling down her back. She wants to scream to fight back, but she realizes that this movement is the only thing keeping her nightmares at the edge of her mind. A soft moan escapes her lips as the hand grasps her ass. It is the first purely sensual moment she has ever experienced. Where Caesar's fingers sliding into her mouth were overwhelmingly dominant, this grasp was seductive.

As Lily's mind fights her nightmare, her body twists and trembles, afraid of the dreams awaiting her. As the dark thoughts enter her mind again, Lily yells, feeling the tender grasp become a sharp pinch. Twisting beneath the grip, Lily holds the silken bedsheets tightly. Her body bends as she tries to escape the offending hand and begins quietly, "Please..."

"Shhhhh," Gabriella's voice commands as the nail tips pinch into Lily's flesh.

Gasping in pain, Lily does everything she can to try to escape the grasp. Her mind kicks at Gabriella but is missing by how she is wrapped in her arms. Tears spring readily to Lily's eyes as she begins to whimper and softly begs Gabriella to stop.

Her pleas fall on deaf ears as everything she does to try to escape merely causes the pinch to get more intense. Feeling Gabriella's jagged nails pinching into her flesh, tiny beads of blood trickle from the grasp as Lily realizes there is nothing she can do to ease the pain. There is no way to escape Gabriella's grasp or beg for mercy.

Every ounce of Lily desires to fight against their torment as tears fall from her eyes. There is nothing she can do as she is captured. Even biting down hard enough on Gabriella's side to draw blood causes only the torment to worsen. Gabriella has her literally in hand as the tip of Gabriella's nails pierces into flesh. Everything Lily does to escape makes it worse, the pinch to be tighter or for it to be twisted in the grasp.

As Lily releases Gabriella from her teeth, she collapses, spent of her energy. As her body trembles from soft sobs, Lily gives up. Accepting there is nothing she can do, she yields. Lily relaxes her ass, causing the muscles to loosen in Gabriella's grasp as Lily gives up.

Lily calmly accepts her fate and is at Gabriella's mercy as she closes her eyes. Lily sighs, and in her heart, Lily gets that, at this moment, she belongs to Gabriella, and there is nothing she can do to stop it. Taking a deep breath, Lily realizes she is the safest she has ever been and truly trusts Gabriella. Without a second hesitation at this realization, she submits.

In the blink of an eye, Lily feels the world drop from beneath her as she falls. She feels no pain as she collapses against the ground in the darkness. Even as she had fallen from a great height, there was nothing tormenting her or causing her harm. Even Gabriella's pinch feels like a distant but strangely calming feeling. The horrors fade from Lily's mind as a soft light appears from a singular moon above them.

A creature walks forward, highlighted by a single red shattered moon overhead. The beast is the most beautiful woman Lily has ever seen. Flawless ample hips are visible under a black robe that falls away from her body. A small tuft of neatly trimmed brown hair between her legs curses defiantly at the Gods and their scriptures of purity and cleanliness.

The woman's body is hidden by a robe with imposing horns, and Lily can't help but focus on her body. The beauty and flawlessness of it as small chains wrap around her body, under her breast, and around her neck. Her dark brown hair falls slightly from the hooded robe as the creature's breasts fall almost naturally to the side under their weight. Perfectly formed and preserved teeth and fangs are dripping with hints of blood as the beast walks forward.

Lily trembles feeling she is in the presence of a monstrous Goddess. As the monster's lips curl into a vicious smile, she lifts the severed head of Sera in her right hand. Lily backs up on her hands and knees, the horror on her face as she realizes that Sera is still alive. It is only now her eyes are dimming. The dark toxic blood dripping from her head is matched by the blood from the dagger in the monster's left hand.

Lily feels the lightness of peace washes over her as she silently weeps. The fearful, repeating memories of the caves and the escaping women disappear momentarily. The overwhelming anxiety vanishes as Lily feels calm for the first time. Lily can't explain it, but within sight of this perfect form, even with the creature's eyes hidden by her imposing angular mask.

Tossing the severed head of Sera forward as Sera's eyes go dark. Lily is shocked as she hears Gabriella's voice escape the creature's mouth, "You are free of the horrors that haunt you."

"Hoe?"

"How what?" Gabriella asks.

"How could she still be alive? I saw her killed."

"She is one of the many. Any creature that cherishes the diseased heart. If left to her desires Sera would corrupt your mind, and in time, she would command your body and soul. She is many."

"So she is still out there?" Lily asks, surprised.

"For generations to come. But she will not seek you out any longer. For you are claimed."

"Claimed?" Lily asks as she feels the dull pain of the pinch on her ass. Pausing, Lily looks up at Gabriella with soft eyes. "Yes, I am yours."

"Good, now you are finally under mine and my Master's protection."

Lily begins the sensation of falling again and feels herself grasping the sheets tenderly as she lies beside Gabriella. Lily feels contentment as if the nightmares are no longer fighting against her. She wonders if they are nightmares or monsters trying to command her mind.

As the torment vanished, Lily fell into the darkness of a relentless sleep. Lily has finally found protection from the demons who haunted her every night. She wished that she had known this long ago, that there was genuine and lasting protection in submission.
