Chunin Exam Part 2

(1 Hour Later) (Forest of Death Entrance) *Kaito's POV *

"It's almost time, Anko" looking at the time, I told Anko who is beside me.

"I'll go get them now." she told me and took a cloth.

"Try using the door." I told her.

"We'll see." she headed towards the class room.

After that I hopped on a tree nearby to have a little rest.

(A Few Minutes Later)

Not long after Anko returned, the genins arrived. There's about 80 of them.

"Welcome to the 44th training ground, also known as the Forest of Death. We'll be conducting the second part of the Chunin Exam here. You are about to find out first hand why this place is called 'The Forest of Death'." Anko intorduced the place.

"You're just trying to scare us to give up! I won't fall for it!"Naruto yelled. Just then, a kunai flew passed his cheeks, leaving a small clean cut.

" People like you are the first to die. "Anko appears behind him and licks the blood on his face.

Shw then took out a kunai and tried to point it towards Naruto's neck. But before she could do that, a man stood behind her with his long tongue holding the kunai that Anko threw just now.

" I believe you dropped this." the man said.

"Thanks..." Anko replied and took the kunai. She continues as she releases Naruto. "Don't stand behind me with that bloodlust.... Unless you're in a hurry to die."

"I'll try to keep it under control." the man returned to his initial position. As he returned, he looks up to me and smiled. I smile back at him.

'Father...' I thought. 'Should I let it play out like in the anime? Or should I stop him now? I'll let him be, I'll need the 3rd dead if I want to kill Danzo.'

"Before we begin!" Anko takes out a stack of forms and continues, "Those taking the exam must sign this. We don't want the be held responsible of anything that happens to you."

"Now, about the exam. Simply speaking, this is a survival match. I'll first explain the geography of the training ground. The training ground is a circular region surrounded by 44 locked entrance. There is a river, a forest and a tower in the middle. The whole training ground has a 10km radius from the tower. " Anko explains.

" inside, you Eil have to go through a survival program. The program consist of....."she takes out two scroll and continues," A competition where everything goes... Over these scrolls. "

" The Heaven scroll and the Earth scroll. You will be fighting over these. 26 teams passed the first exam. Half of those will be given th Heaven scroll while the other half will be given the Earth scroll. Your goal is to bring both of this scroll to the tower in the center. The time limit is 120 hours or 5 days. " she explains.

Alot of people started to ask questions. After some questions Anko continues to explain:

" here are some conditions you will fail.

First, a team that cannot bring both scroll to the tower with 3 teammates will fail.

Second, a team that loses a member to either death or severe injury will fail.

Third, no one in any circumstances is allowed to leave the forest before the time limit.

Lastly, you are forbidden to open this scroll before you reach the tower.

That's all the explaination. You'll receive one scroll when all 3 your your team hand in your consent forms. You can choose the gate you want to start at and after that we'll begin. Oh, on last piece of advice... Stay alive. "

After that, every team handed in their form, got a scroll and headed to the entrance of their choice.

After confirming that the exam has started smoothly, I went straight to the tower in the center of the forest.

(A While Later) *General POV *

Near a line of statue, three chunin could be seen observing three corpse. It's not hard to find corpse in the Forest of Death but these corpse are not normal.

"Report this to Anko, who is the chief examiner of this exam and the Head Procter Kaito." a chunin commanded.

"Yes sir!" the other 2 chunin said and flicker away.

(Forest of Death Entrance)

After having some snacks, Anko was ready to head towards the centre of the forest. But suddenly, a chunin appeared. He was one of the Chunin ant the scene where the weird corpse lies.

"Anko! Terrible news!" the chunin reported.

"What? Already?" Anko sounded annoyed.

"Dead bodies! Three of them.... And they are weird! Please come see for yourself! " he continued.

'Weird? How?' Anko though and proceeded to follow the chunin.

(44th Training Ground Control Room)

Kaito was monitoring the whole exam while playing with a deck of cards in his hand. Suddenly, a chunin appeared.

" Kaito! We have found something weird!" the chunin reported.

"Get to the point." Kaito said while still looking at the monitor.

"We found 3 corpse but they died in a weird way. Please follow me!" the chunin continued.

"Lead the way." Kaito got up and followed the chunin.

(Location of the 3 Corpse)

Within minutes, the two chunin returned with Anko and Kaito.

"Judging from their belongings and the papers we found they were all shinobi from Kusagakure and were registered to take part in the Chunin selection exams. And, as you can see their features are completely gone..." a chunin reported.

Anko's face turned to disbelief. She yelled, " let me see their ID! " and The chunin gave Anko the IDs.

" You three report this to Lord Hokage! Request him to deploy additional Anbu to the Forest of Death! I'm going after the imposter!" Anko told the three chunin and head towards the forest. The 3 chunin quickly flickered away.

"Wait, Anko! What can you do yourself!" Kaito stopped Anko before she could leave.

"I don't care! I need to go!" Anko replied and went ahead ignoring Kaito's warning.

"Well whatever. I'll just watch the show." Kaito said and followed Anko.

(A Few Minutes Later) (Forest of Death) *Kaito's POV *

As I see Anko stopped, I stood on a tree where I'm not visible to her.

" it's been a while, Anko. " said Orochimaru who is fused with a tree.

" You're a dangerous S rank criminal. I'll kill you even if it cause my life." said Anko as she took out so, e needles.

Before she could attack, Orochimaru sent his tongue towards her, forcing her to jump back. They continued fighting until Anko cornered him, stabbing a kunai into her and Orochimaru's hand. Stopping him form escaping.

Just as she was about tu use a suicidal justu to kill Orochimaru along with her, another voice of Orochimaru came from behind her.

"*creepy laugh * Are you trying to commit suicide? That's a replacement." the real Orochimaru came out of the tree trunk behind Anko. After that, the one that Anko had in place turned into mud.

*Orochimaru laughs *

"You're one of the village's tokubetsu jonin. Don't just use the forbidden jutsu I taught you." Orochimaru said as he made his way towards Anko.

She threw a kunai at him but he caught it easily and said "It's useless."

Orochimaru then made a ram seal with one hand,"Ha!" and Anko's body starts to tremble from the pain of her cursed seal.

"Why have you come? Didi you come to kill the Hokage? " Anko asked him.

"Heavens No. I lack the men to do that. My goal is any shinobi of the village with extraordinary abilities. In fact, I even have someone that same cursed seal as a present. There's a boy I want." Orochimaru denied and continued.

"As always, you do whatever you want... But that boy will die." Anko said while still in pain.

"But he might be like you, and live." he replied.

"You seemed quite interested in him"

"Are you jealous? Are you still angry that I used you and abandoned you? Unlike you he seems like an excellent shinobi. After all, he is an Uchiha."

Orochimaru stood up and continued "he's a perfect as my successor. If he survives, things will get interesting. Whatever you do, don't cancel the exam. The is getting interesting." and after that he left.

"If you take away my joy, I'll destroy the village." his voice echoed through the area even when he is no longer there.

"So? Have you completed it ?" a sound came from behind me.
