Chapter 65

My barrier couldn't withstand the barrage of fists from the high Nomu, and eventually, it broke from the pressure. However, I had bought enough time for Aizawa to move away from the reach of the Nomu.

The Nomu looked at me with an annoyed expression.

It seemed that it would get rid of anyone who was in the way between it and its master's order.

The Nomu punched toward my face. I evaded that and punched back, my punch barely doing any damage to him.

"Aizawa! What are you doing?"

"I can't!" Aizawa shouted. "Hold on."

From the reflection in the Nomu's eye, I saw a dark fog surrounding Aizawa, swallowing half of Aizawa already. It seemed that the teleporting man had a grip on him.

The Nomu punched at me again, scratching my cheek, and I replied with a punch of mine.

The shock I released was being absorbed by him.

I couldn't recklessly tank him and attack him without considering my own safety.

With the Sharingan activated, all I did was dodge.

'If his quirk is shock absorption, how can he move if his body absorbs the impact his feet cause on the ground or from his strong punches.'

I suddenly had a hunch about the Nomu's weakness. More like shock absorption quirk weakness.

I made a crazy decision.

Wrapping my fist with mana, I flicked it toward the Nomu's fist.

This time, I was certain as the Nomu got a few centimeters pushed back.

'If timed right, when his body releases a shock, he can't absorb.'

Think about it. If his quirk was shock absorption and it was so efficient, then the Nomu wouldn't be able to move quickly by stomping on the ground because his body would absorb the impact. The same goes for his own punches. So, the weakness must be the timing. The moment he released a certain amount of force, his body wouldn't absorb the impact.

The Nomu punched again. Having predicted that, I instantly twisted his wrist, causing him to flip in the air.

I jerked back, my fingers shaking from the sheer force that they had to withstand.

'That Nomu, albeit way weaker than peak All Might, is very powerful.'

"Don't just stare. Attack him as well." Tomura ordered the other villains, pointing his hand at me.

'How about I play chess with you.' I thought, raising my hand and activating a magical spell.

<<Stunning Flare>> I thought as I closed my eyes.

I didn't use this spell to its full power, causing a small, temporarily blinding effect.

The Nomu, Tomura, and everyone were surrounded by a very strong light that eliminated any existence of a shadow.

Tomura quickly covered his eyes. As for the villains, they just threw themselves to the ground.

Taking the chance, I appeared next to Tomura, forming a hand sign.

One of the things I remembered from watching Naruto during the Chunin exam was how Naruto could transform, not only himself but his team, through transformation Jutsu. Changing another person involved changing their clothes as well through chakra. All I had to do was think of Tomura as an extension of my body and change his appearance to my imagination. My chakra would do the rest.

Puff Puff

Both of our shapes had changed.

I took on the appearance of Tomura Shigaraki, and he took on my appearance.

"Nomu." I grunted in Tomura's voice when the blinding effect dissipated, and everyone slowly regained their eyesight.

"What the hell?" Tomura, who was now taking on my appearance, snapped. "Who are you!"

I pointed at Tomura.

"Don't make me wait, Nomu. Kill him," I huffed.

"What the hell are you doing Nomu? Kill the imposter," grunted Tomura.

Unfortunately for Tomura, the eye only believed what it saw.

Nomu, who was programmed to only obey Tomura Shigaraki, couldn't disobey someone who looked and sounded like his master.

Before Tomura could issue the order, Nomu appeared next to him, punching him directly in the face.

Tomura was knocked to the ground.

"Bro! Leave him alone." Mineta, who had been around, ran crying, grabbing his balls. I appeared next to him and kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying. He was just about to mess up my genius plan, which forced my feet to hit him.

"Choke him to death. Don't make me wait, Nomu." I pointed at Tomura, before the transformation Jutsu could be undone.

Nomu didn't hesitate.

He got on Shigaraki and grabbed him by the neck, choking him.

Tomura, whose eyes were about to lose light, extended his hand to Nomu and held him.

One of the most feared quirks in the anime, decay. Although nerfed now, it could kill anyone with a touch.

Nomu started decaying, turning into a green matter that fell, his regeneration unable to keep up.

"What the heck is happening! Kenshiro used that white-haired guy's ability!" Shouted Mineta as he stood up.

Everyone turned to him, before looking at Tomura, and then me.

I gargled a laugh.

The transformation Jutsu was undone on Tomura, revealing his true appearance. Tomura held his neck, putting effort into inhaling breaths after the choke the Nomu had given him.

"The villain. Then who is…" Everyone looked at me.

With a small puff of smoke, my appearance changed back to normal.

"We have a Mexican standoff." Someone commented.

I turned to Mineta and said, "You sure know how to mess up plans."

"Sorry, I thought you were the other person," Mineta said, "how the hell did you do that in the first place."

"My quirk is the Mother of all Omelets." I said, bragging.

Mother of all Omelets. It could be a good name to describe my supposed quirk and justify why I had so many good abilities.

"Worry Not!" echoed a vigorous voice of a buffed man that appeared all of a sudden, holding onto his necktie and ripping it down. "I AM Here!"

A surge of memories found its way to me from my shadow clone.

Eri was now with the principal, who happened to be with All Might at that time. The clone told him everything before vanishing.

I knew that I had exposed one of my secret techniques. But it was just the tip of the iceberg.

"I can relax now." I said, pointing to Tomura, before looking for Kurogiri.

I turned my head. In a mere second, all of the villains who came to invade UA were beaten down.

If I wasn't wrong, Eri had somehow alerted All Might before his injury. So, he could do that at least.

Guess I had made a positive change in the timeline that benefited me the most.

Tomura Shigaraki suddenly was swallowed by a dark fog, golden eyes appeared in its middle.

I knew that he would be teleporting the latter into some place to hide.

I wanted to sunray gun him down. But I feared that I may hurt someone innocent since I was uncertain where they would be teleporting.

Luckily, All Might had perfect decision-making skills.

In a mere split of a second, he punched a compressed air wave that hit Kurogiri, dispelling the fog with the wind force.

Tomura was nowhere to be seen, but Kurogiri was taken down.

All Might thrust his palm at him, pinning him nearby.

'If he was here, he would have taken the Nomu down in a few moves.' I thought to myself.

Suddenly, a bunch of staff entered through the door.

They all wore black costumes.

"Public Safety Hero Commission," said one of them, showing the badge. "We're not here for the villains. That will be taken care of by the police."

I didn't know what business they had here.

But instead of walking toward the villains or anyone else, he stood before me, saying.

"Kenshiro. You're under arrest for investigation," said the guy.

I was nonplussed and didn't say anything.

"Wait! What?" All Might stopped and stared at the representatives. "You are here for the villains. I believe you made a mistake."

"No mistake," replied the representative, snarling at me.

Honestly, I didn't like the attitude of the guy. But I decided to play along for now.

I had a suspicion that it may not be due to my action of fighting the villains early. In that case, the police should come to investigate my action.

It could be that they have a hidden goal. I knew that I wasn't on the best terms with them ever since I had refused their request to have the Superman shot exclusively – their offer was so cheap and greedy.

"Although it's a misunderstanding because it's self-defense, I'll cooperate," I said, stretching my arms up and walking toward them.
