Chapter 97 Your my wife

Paul move to the big city with his daughter and enroll her in a private school employing a nanny who will take care of her.

He traveled back home to see Christy but she didn’t want to see him.

“I don’t know who that is so am not going to see him” Christy told Bridget as she came to call her.

“Christy is Paul, your husband and the father of your daughter”

“I said am not coming out, I don’t know that person and I don’t have a daughter”

Bridget went out and told Paul about it.

“Can I go in and talk to her myself?”

“Why not, you can go in, she’s your wife”

Paul went in to Christy’s room for the first time.

“Hello, how are you?” Paul ask.

“And what are you doing in a woman’s room?” She ask not smiling.

“Can I sit?” Paul ask pointing to the bed.

“I don’t know you so why will you sit on my bed,?”

“Am sorry, let me just stand here instead, so how are you?”

“Am fine, what do you want?”

“I came to see how you are doing and to give you this” he hand her a huge sum of money.

“Thank you, I don’t need your money, I don’t take things from strangers”

“Am not a stranger, am Paul your husband, just take it.”

Christy thought, she will need money to start her business, she can as well take the money because it looks like a huge sum.

She took the money without saying thank you, after all I didn’t ask him for money.

“Take care of yourself ok, I have to go” Paul wanted so much to hug her but held himself since Christy has not accepted him as her husband.

He decided to visit James on his way out of town.

“Guy… what brings you here? You are not looking bad”

“How are you mann?”

“Am fine, are you just coming in?”.

“No am going out”

“How is Christy?”

“Nothing has changed Mann, she is even more aggressive now”

“The doctor said you should give her time”

“When is the time? I need her Mann” Paul said angry.

“You know you can always help yourself with another girl while waiting” James said laughing.

“And you think is easy”

“Just try it, you’ve sold yourself to Christy that is why it seems hard for you”

“You can say that again, What hurts me the most is the fact that she can’t even remember our daughter.”

“She will come around, just give it time.”

Paul went back home and was thinking about what James said.

“Hello sir, some one wants to see you, hello sir” the secretary stood in front of Paul but he was absent minded.

“Hello sir”

“Yes, what can I do for you?”

“Someone is here to see you”

“Let the person in”

“Ok,” she went out and Sharon walks in so beautiful like an angel.

“Hello Paul”

“Hi Sharon, what brings you here?”

“Is it bad for me to see an old friend?”
