Chapter 2

In a small town called Tania, a fisherman by the name of Klaus, was out on his usual evening routine to fish, caught up something big in his net, thinking he has made a huge catch for the night, pulling out his net from the sea and curious to see what fish might have been caught up in his net, only to find a boy caught in between his net. Klaus immediately takes out the boy from the sea and sets sail back for the land, and when he has gotten back home, quickly set up a fire camo and heats some water to treat the boy who has been in the sea for over a day. He puts up the fireplace and sets the boy close to it and he went to sleep next to the bed. As the sun was ready to set, the boy opens his eyes, upon seeing this, the man rushed and helped him up, bringing in water for him. The boy quickly remembers that he was killed and is supposed to be dead, but how is he alive? The boy's name was Azazel, Turns out his powers awakened at the point of the dead. Devils are known to be immortals and the only way to kill them is through fire and driving silver or wooden stakes through their hearts, and being that Azazel had the blood of the Devils also flowing through him, he could be alive again after his uncle slit his throat, thinking Azazel never had any power all along.

How did you end up in the river, what happened to you, the man asked, Azazel narrated everything to the old man and told him where he had come from. After hearing this, the man gave out a sigh of relief and said to the Azazel, many years back I used to belong to your kingdom, being one of your fathers most trusted Devil warriors, fierce and feared by all even Elkano himself treated me with respect until your uncle framed me up and got me banished after the war, that's why I came to settle down in this town. I've managed to curb my blood lust over the years and I only drink of animals to quench my test and keep up power, but you boy, I see that you are a lot different from every other devil I know, probably might be because of the union between your father and a mortal.

Azazel falling on his knees begged the old man to take him in and to be trained by him as well. Azazel wondered why Klaus has grown old when people from their kingdom never do so, and Klaus told him of how his power for not aging was taken from him when he was banished from the kingdom.

Many years after, the boy has grown to become a man and has now become very powerful, but was asked by the old man who trained him to keep his power hidden till the time is right. Azazel never needed to live on blood, he was different from every other devil ever born.

The devils have always been envied for their powers of not aging and remaining youthful and young. Elkano still looking as young as ever, was still weary about the passing of his son 200 years later, at this point, Elkano has lost every hope after years of searching for his son and believing that he is still alive and this forced him to go into a Deep Sleep in his underground coffin where no one had any idea of.

With the disappearance of Lucias King and no heir to take over, Lokia, Elkanos brother finally takes over the throne. Trouble sets in as Lucia is about to wage war on all other kingdoms. Bryxtons king was no longer alive since he was a mortal and could not survive for 200 years. Bryxton has had 4 kings over the 2 centuries that's passed, and their current king whose name was Herald, a man loved by the citizens of the kingdom, blessed with 2 sons and a daughter, whose beauty is heard and told of even beyond the kingdom. She has turned down many suitors from diverse kingdoms in the past. King herald only heard tales and stories of the people of Lucia and the powers they possessed. Believing them to be just stories he never really paid attention to them until the time came.

Lucia has successfully conquered 3 diverse kingdoms to itself and is now going to face bryxton. Lokia has sent messages to Bryxton asking that they come to pay their respect to him, as he has finally ascended the throne but King Herald never obliges, because he also believes that bryxton is superior to any other kingdom and should not bow to any since they are the wealthiest kingdom amongst all and also believes they are the most powerful when it comes to military might, but bryxton has grown way much weaker than some centuries back when King Luta was alive. Bryxton has grown lesser in mages with magic and only a few could now use magic which one of them was the Kings Daughter, Blessed by her ancestors, she was the most powerful mage in the kingdom.

The Princess was named Lydia, she was tall, slim, light-skinned, and very beautiful. My entire life, I have always been preparing for a particular day, when I would have to walk down the aisle with the man of my dreams. Gladly father never forced me to get into union with another man because he wanted to gain more power or create an alliance with any kingdom. Princess Lydia never wanted to marry anybody of royalty, because princes were allowed to get married to as many wives as they wanted, as long as they did not love their wives, they could always get another. My maids always spend hours dressing me every day, making me look more beautiful than usual.

On this faithful day she was dressed in a white and blue dress and her brown hair packed beautifully behind, she walked across the streets of the kingdom, and every eye that met her dazzling beauty, could not resist taking their eyes off her. While she was out walking on the streets, she met this young man with a blue scarf covering his face, walking past her and she was suddenly attracted to the man, curious to know who he was and why she was suddenly attracted to him, Lydia started tracking the man and was following him trying to see what she could find out about him, but when he sensed that he was being followed he stopped, and before Lydia could close and open her eyes, the man was gone and right behind her.

Who must you be and why have you been following me, lost for words seeing the face of the man he was tracking, standing before her a tall handsome young man, with a well-built body with broad shoulders and chest, the sweet scent of rose coming of him just could not let the princess keep up with the question. Then she introduced herself as Bryxton's one and only princess, the man was thrilled and he also introduced himself as Azazel. He speaks with the princess and told her, he just came into the kingdom and he was hoping he could get to work at the kingdom's castle, maybe fate wanted them to meet so she could help fulfill what he had in mind.

After Azazel found out that his uncle had taken over the throne, and heard of his wrongful doings and wickedness, he decided to start making his move and he knew if he wanted to win a battle against his uncle, he would need to have a strong kingdom as an ally and since Bryxton is his uncles' next target, then it is the perfect choice for him to ally with. The King was going to throw a feast that night to celebrate the success of the kingdom over the year, and Azazel was intending on going in through the feast. since the princess has already taken a liking to him, it was not going to be an issue, so the princess made a deal with him, saying she would get him into the palace, but he would have to become her friend, Azazel laughs and asks the princess, have you fallen for me already, she tries to deny, but the blushes on her face made it all obvious and the prince accepted to her terms.

While the news for Bryxton feast, Lokia has already set up his plans to send in a warning message to the kingdom. Sent out two of his bloodthirsty warriors, to go into Bryxton's kingdom in disguise and leave a warning message by killing a few. when the time had come for the feast to begin, they were all dining and drinking, unaware of the doom that was about to befall them that night, nor did they know that the call for war with the most fierce kingdom was about to begin that very night.
