The moment Crystal stepped into the class, all Noah's friends left his desk and walked back to theirs. Everyone turned, minding their business.
Crystal rolled her eyes and walked to where Noah sat staring at her and sat on his desk.
Noah sighed and looked away,"Crystal, what are you doing in here, you are supposed to be in your class?"
Crystal huffed and glared at Claire,"I miss my boyfriend so I came to see him"
She said it so loud that everyone including Claire will hear her.
Claire smiled to herself, she is just thirteen and obviously the youngest in her class while the rest are fourteen or fifteen so she had or will never see herself in competition with anyone. That's why when Noah got to know she was crushing on him and started using it to bully her, she never did anything about it. She could have reported it a long time ago to Zain but she chose not because she did not want her uncle to do something with his affluence and power but she could not bear it anymore and that's why she opened up to him.
Now she doesn't even know Noah's fate regarding her uncle's visit to the principal's office. She knows the outcome will be outrageously. Though Noah is a billionaire son, his father is no match to Zain and Claire knew this.
Claire had no idea that Ford and Zidat had history together, which means Harrison and Zain separated before the kids grew up.
"I used to think Noah is sensible but I just realized that he is a fool. I don't get it, why would he follow Crystal around like a lost puppy when Crystal's family wealth is no match to the FORDs?"
Lana whispered to Claire, eyeing Crystal.
"I am not supposed to know that, Lana. He is a big boy and obviously, he would want to date a big girl. I am just a little girl, remember?"
Lana sighed,"Yeah I know but still, he should get a little sense into his head. Anyone who rejects you is a fool. Anyway, it's his loss. I know Crystal's type. When she is tired of him, she will leave him and move to another dude. At Fourteen, she has had numerous relationships. I used to think all rich kids are brats not until I met you."
Claire chuckled at Lana, shaking her head.
"You talk as if you are not from a rich family as well. 99.9% of students in Spring High is from a wealthy home"
Claire reminded her in case she had forgotten.
Lana said nothing as both moved their gazes to Crystal who was trying hard to get Noah's attention. Lana muffled a laugh,"Miss popular is not getting what she wants today"
Claire said nothing, only to smile as she continued to look at Crystal, who is trying hard to get Noah's attention. The look of irritation on his face did not escape her notice.
"Why is he acting strange today? This is the same crystal that he would fluent in front of everyone. Why is he looking at her as if she is the most disgusting in the world."
Claire thought keenly,"it's not that it is my business"
Claire added and threw her face away, right at the corner stood Susan, smiling at her. Claire sat up immediately with a look of surprise on her face. Before she could register why Susan is there, Susan gave her a sign and she understood it immediately.
"Crystal, you know what, leave right now. I will see you during lunch period"
Noah 's voice brought Claire back to the class and when she looked back again, Susan was gone.
She sighed and looked back at Noah who was on his feet leaving the class but before he could make it to the exit, Mr Kavinsky came in, surprising them.
Mr Kavinsky would not visit any class without someone being in serious trouble and Claire kind of has a feeling that it has to do with her uncle 's visits to the principal 's office earlier.
"Mr Ford, do you mind to follow me to the office this minute"
Mr Kavinsky announced and Claire confirmed her suspicion.
Noah, though not knowing why he is being summoned, nodded and made to follow Mr Kavinsky.
"Kindly, pick your backpack with you, you might be needing it"
Mr Kavinsky told him and Noah complied.
Crystal wanted to say something but was stopped by Mr Kavinsky who questioned her presence in the wrong class, that shut her up and she left with her parade.
Mr Kavinsky glanced at the class one more time and left with Noah trailing behind him. It's better to obey before you complain unless you will have Mr Kavinsky to contend with, the students know not to mess with him.
