Never Stop Smiling

     Thomas watched me for a while and shrugged his shoulders.

"I see. I like your honesty and I like what you do. I can say we have something in common because I am a writer."

My eyes lit up when I heard his last statement. Wow, he is a writer. That's cool.

   "I loved writers. Do you have a work of yours I can read?"

I asked excitedly and he nodded.

   "Tom!"

   We both turned towards the direction of the voice. I saw a stunning lady that has the same look as him and there is no doubt they are related. She was standing at the far end of the block.

   "That's my younger sis, June"

He said and looked at the direction of his sister.

"June over here!"

He yelled and the lady started walking towards us.

  "Hi"

She waved at me and I waved back.

"Hi"

"I was looking for you, I didn't know you were outside?"

She asked with her eyes fixed on her brother who smiled at her.

   "Yeah, I caught an angel outside and I decided to say hi. This is Jennifer, she is the lady with the pencil"

I blushed at what he said. He uses words well.

   "Nice to meet you Jennifer. Your sketching is beautiful. I am sorry I am not an art lover so don't be offended that I did not go Gaga seeing your work."

"It's fine, June, everyone must not be the same or like the same thing. You are beautiful"

   I said.

"I am?"

She asked, blushing.

"Of Course you are."

I responded and she pulled me to herself.

   "Thanks sweetie, I like you already. I am sure we can be friends for a long time. You are new?"

She released me after gushing over me

 I think I like her too.

 "Yes I am. I am visiting"

"The next block?"

She asked and I turned around to see if there was another block apart from theirs and Zain's and there was none.

  "I think this block"

I said pointing to Zain's apartment.

   "It's the same there,I meant this one. Don't mind my choice of words"

I nodded in understanding.

   "I am still here"

Thomas said suddenly and June and I chuckled.

   "Sorry, girls love"

June said and winked at him.

"I made breakfast. I was looking for you and since I found you with an Angel like you called her,I am  inviting you both for breakfast"

  She said and I started shaking my head in disagreement. I just ate and these people, I just met them so no is the answer.

  "Well sorry, sweetheart. I don't take no for an answer. I hope your people will not look for you while you are away?"

She practically dragged me towards their apartment making me leave my tools behind.

  "Do you realize that I am leaving my things behind"

Don't worry, Tom got your back.

   "Thomas please help her with her tools alright"

   She yelled and continued dragging me. I had no choice but to let her drag me. Is not that I can't do anything, I just choose to allow her do what she wants.

   June sat me down on this cozy couch and sat beside me with her hand on my shoulder. 

   "This is where I live with my brother. It's just two of us"

She said and looked at her. I was thinking it was witj their family.

   "The rest of your family?"

"They are in Dubai"

She replied and stood up,

I will be right back.

   I nodded and she left. I relaxed on the couch and looked around. 

  The living room has this peaceful atmosphere and I kinda like it. The wall has a wallpaper so I would not know its color.

  There is a big home theater and the couch has many colors. What I meant is each couch has its own color and its own throw pillows.

   I love the concept of the room. The center table is so glassy and the big rug beneath the table is so thick that if it's washed, it will take three days for it to dry.

     I saw a family photo hanging near the entrance of the living room and it touched my heart when I saw how genuinely they were all smiling. I guess this is the whole family which consists of two guys and four girls with June being the eldest of the girls because the rest are ranging from twelve to fifteen.

   The other boy is kind of the eldest in the family but I can't tell,looks can be deceiving.

  The mom and dad were still young and they were all in matching outfits.

   I shifted my glance and rested it on the picture of Thomas. He was in corporate and I loved how the confidence he was exhibiting there and the sweet smile on his face was priceless. 

   It's like smiling is the code in this place.

By the corner,I saw another photo and it is June. She looks absolutely beautiful in the red dinner gown she was wearing.

   "I see you feeding your eyes already"

I turned and smiled at Thomas, he came in bearing my stuff. I stood up to get it from him.

   "You can say that again. There is much to see here, the family photo is."

I replied and gestured for him to give them to me.

   "Don't worry. I will just keep it for you here,when you are leaving you pick them"

He said and put my items on the center table.

   "I am sorry my sister dragged you into this place. She's just like this. She gets so excited when she sees someone new. I see a great friendship loading between you two, you guys are going to make very good friends."

   "That's right. She reminds me so much of my crazy friend ,her name is Tasha. she's practically like this and we are more like sisters anyway"

I said and smiled and he smiled too.

"You have a very good smile. Never stop smiling alright"
