Mara... Veronica called in her head. Suddenly a woman with thick blonde hair and green eyes appeared. She was strikingly beautiful, the kind that takes your breath away.

"Best friend why did you call for this beautiful demon...she swayed her hips seductively. Veronica shook her head. "I need your help Mara. You know my husband is impotent because of the curse laid upon him, because of this I can't give birth.

"Yh I know that story, why are you repeating it all over again...Mara blurted irritated.

The Council wants him to get married to another woman. You know this can't happen right?

"I'm the one he loves and another woman cannot handle this secret of his, it will be a total disgrace if another person finds out.

"Yh you are right,so what do you suggest we do? "I want you to manipulate everybody in this castle,make them think that I'm pregnant.

And if the time is due for you to give birth then what? "I'm planning on adopting a child.

A maid barged in. "Your majesty why are you standing? His highness is going to punish us if something bad happens to you. Please sit down,the midwife is on her way to check you.

Veronica looked at mara with widened eyes.

Veronica disguised herself and walked out of the Castle. She had to get a child very soon because everybody thought she was in her ninth month. She was moving about when she heard the cry of a baby. She moved towards the noise and she appeared in the woods. she got down from her horse and walked towards the tree that had the baby lieing under.

"He was soo beautiful in her sight, she gently scooped him into her arms. She felt strange it was as if someone was standing behind her she turned swiftly and saw a man and an old woman. She could feel the powers emanating from each of them.

"Who are you people...she managed to say even if she was very scared. She couldn't see their faces properly.

"I'm Dracula, King of the Vampires and that baby in your hands is my Son. I'm Glinda a witch.

"Her eyes widened at their confession. But why would you give up your son? I mean why are you abondening him? " That's a good question your Majesty.

"You know I'm Queen? "Of course I do, I'm a vampire remember that. I'm not abondening my son. I'm just protecting him from my kind. They want him dead,so you're the only one who can protect him. Don't worry I will send someone who will help him understand his powers and how to hide his fangs.

"But vampires can't survive the sun,how will he.... "That's why I'm here. Glinda cut her in midway. Have these stones made as a chain for him,it should always be around his neck. It's called lapis lazuli enchanted by me, it will protect him from the sun.

Glinda handed the stones to her. "Of course I will. But there's a problem, my husband has been cursed. I know about the curse, don't worry Damien won't be impotent, he might be if he marries the wrong person.
