Chapter twenty

Jack approached Tiana in the hallway, he was quite angry that she had not been replying to his texts and calls for some days now.

Tiana jumped when she saw him in front of her, she did not expect to see him.

Jack only stared at her without saying a word and this made Tiana so nervous.

"Why didn't you show up?" Jack asked her bluntly.

"Uhmmm," Tiana chewed her lips, she was thinking of the perfect lie to tell him. "Something came up."

"More like Prince Calvin came up," Jack said sarcastically and Tiana was shocked.

"How did you know?" She stammered and Jack rolled his eyes.

"I saw the pictures on Instagram," Jack told her and she remembered that she took some pictures of her and Jack in her living room and posted it on Instagram.

"I'm...."

"You are what?" Jack cut her off. He came closer to her. "I thought you promised me that you were going to make it? You weren't even replying to my texts and answering my calls, why are you doing this to me, Tiana?"

"I don't know, I honestly don't know, Jack." Tiana felt so bad for letting Jack down.

Jack sighed, "It's alright, maybe we can go out this Friday?" Jack suggested, he badly wanted to go out with her, he wanted to tell her how he felt for her, and he wanted to tell her that he likes her so much. Tiana looked at Jack with sad eyes and Jack immediately knew that Friday will not be possible.

"Going out with Prince Calvin again?" Jack scoffed and she nodded.

"It's..." She tried to explain but she did not know how to explain it to him.

"It's alright Tiana," Jack told her.

"But..."

"It's alright Tiana, it's alright."

"I hope you are not angry?" She asked him with so much concern and he smiled.

"I'm cool with it," He said and walked away.

Tiana stood there and watched him leave, she wanted to call him but when she tried to say something, she could not.

She sighed and went to lectures.

Tiana could not pay attention to the lecture, she was very troubled and she wished that the lecture would end sooner.

Then her phone rang, she brought it out from her handbag when she saw who was calling her lips parted into a smile--it was no other person than prince Chad.

She answered the call. "My prince..." She said shyly.

"How are you?" Prince Chad asked her.

"Not feeling too fine, I'm craving lots of chocolate ice cream." She whimpered.

"You need lots of chocolate ice cream?" Prince Chad asked chuckling.

"Uhm uhm." Tiana nodded her head.

"Okay, I'd see to that..." He paused. "Where are you now?"

"I'm in lectures."

"Can you step out for a minute my driver is waiting for you outside the campus?"

"Okay, give me a sec." She said and arranged herself.

When she arrived at the entrance of the University campus she saw a convoy of cars waiting for her.

Russell, Chad's attendant came out of one of the cars. He approached her and bowed.

Tiana felt so special, even though she was a princess of another kingdom, she could not imagine that Chad would do something like this.

Chad was very good at making anyone feel so loved and cared for, and he knew how to put a smile on anyone's face, but was he really a good person?

Tiana entered one of the cars and she wondered where they were heading to.

They stopped at Berry a popular ice cream production company in KU. Russell opened the door and she came out.

"Please can we head inside, your highness?" Russell said to her and she nodded.

They entered the building, the place was very beautiful, it had ice cream dispensers almost at every corner of the building, the smell of sweet strawberries filled the air and the workers were on clothes with different colours.

"Good morning ma'am." All the workers in the building greeted her in unison and anywhere she went Chad's bodyguard followed her.

Tiana's phone rang, it was Chad that was calling, and she immediately answered the call.

"What is happening, Chad?" Tiana asked quite surprised and confused.

"You said you needed lots of chocolate ice cream, didn't you?" Chad asked.

"Yes, I did," Tiana replied.

" I bought you Berry Company so that you can have as much ice cream as you want," Chad said and Tiana could feel the smirk in his voice.

She was surprised that he bought her an ice cream company just because she needed some ice cream. She turned around and saw how big the building was and she became speechless.

'How did he buy this place just in an hour?' She thought.

"Where are you?" Tiana said into the phone.

"Turn around," Chad replied she turned around immediately and her eyes met with Chad's.

Tiana froze and Chad approached her, he was in a black tuxedo and he had his radiant smile plastered on his face.

He hugged her and kissed her forehead.

"Do you like the place?" He said biting his lips.

'He's so handsome and hot.' Tiana thought to herself.

"Uhmm...yes...I like the place...thank you." She stammered and Chad chuckled revealing his dimple.

"Are you still shy of me, babe?" Tiana's cheeks turned red.

"Ehmm, no...I'm not shy." She replied shyly.

"It is written over your face that you are."

"I'm not." Tiana tried to hide her nervousness but her voice betrayed her.

"Then kiss me if you are not," Chad said biting his lips.

"You mean here?"

"Yes."

"Right now?" Tiana chewed her cheeks.

"Yes," Chad muttered.

Tiana turned around and saw that everyone in the building was looking at them.

"With all these people watching us?"

"What about that?" Chad asked raising an eyebrow.

"Ehm..." She was clueless about what to do.

"Are you shy?" Chad asked chuckling.

"No, I am not." Tiana said shutting her eyes.

"Why are you lying?" Chad whispered.

"I am not. Why did you do all of this?"

"All of what?" Chad asked her, smirking.

"The convoy of security, the surprises and everything."

Chad laughed and then he came closer to her, and wrapped his arms around her waist and Tiana cringed.

"I'm allowed to surprise my sweetheart right?" He paused. "Yes you are a princess, but you are my princess so you have to act like my princess." Tiana felt butterflies in her stomach and she slowly opened her eyes and they met with Chad's sea blue eyes.

"I have made things easier for you," Chad said grinning. "Kiss me, my love."

Chad was very tall and Tiana barely reached his shoulders. She placed her hands on his shoulders and raised her legs slowly. Chad crouched and Tiana shut her eyes as their lips nearly touched each other.

"Are you still shy?" Chad asked her with his lips just inches away from her.

"Maybe." She muttered and kissed him.

Everyone watched them and it did not take a minute before the whole world knew about their relationship.

Meanwhile, in the Castle Megan, Anita and Jennifer were trying to unfold many mysteries in the Castle.

"We searched everywhere, we looked, we removed but yet we didn't find anything." Anita with a frustrated voice.

"We can't give up now, we have to keep on trying." Megan encouraged them.

"Should we tell the rest?" Jennifer asked.

"We wait, now is not the right time," Megan told Jennifer. "We need to have some evidence before we tell the rest."

"But Kate mysteriously missing isn't it evidence?" Anita asked staring at Megan.

"It is but not solid evidence, we need solid evidence," Megan told them and Jennifer sighed.

"This is getting more and more frustrating, while don't we report this to the police and let them do the investigation?" Jennifer asked Megan.

"Before we can do that we need solid evidence, just imagine reporting a case that we don't have any proof we will look like fools." Megan highlighted. "We need someone to help us and the only person that might be able to help us is Prince Chad."

"It is so difficult to approach him now, the security has tightened around him and he barely stays in the castle," Anita stated. "We need to tell him when he is alone."

"Don't worry I got that covered." Megan said smirking.

Chad held Tiana's hand as they walked around the company's building.

"I can't believe that I am now the owner of my favourite ice cream company,"  Tiana said happily and Chad smiled.

"I love ice cream," he paused and bit his lips. "Especially chocolate ice cream."

"That's my favourite, too." They entered an office and Chad shut the door.

"That's our favourite and you are my favourite." He held her waist and kissed her neck.

"I want to ask you something, Chad."

"Okay?"

"What were you like when you were younger?"

"I was messed up." He said laughing.

"How?"

"In college, I was a bad boy who didn't give a shit about anything, I just did what my mind tells me to do. I didn't even act like a prince in college, all the ethics and customs I forgot them."

"You don't look like you were a bad boy." Tiana said giggling.

Chad removed his jacket and rolled his sleeves exposing the tattoos on his arms.

"They are beautiful," Tiana said touching his arms.

"You like them." Chad asked her, grinning and she nodded. He unbuttoned his shirt and removed it. Tiana gasped when she saw Chad's shirtless body, he had well-defined sick packs abs and he had tattoos almost all over his body, from his torso to his neck. He was almost perfect physically.

There was a golden necklace that hung around his neck, it had a semi-circle shape and an eye was in the middle of the semi-circle.

'He's so hot.' She thought.

"I really want to meet the old you, I really want to meet you when you were a bad boy."

"Trust me you won't like what I was." He chuckled. "The old me won't even give a shit about you ."

"If I met you then, I know that you will still care for me, you will always care for me." Tiana drew circles on his chest with her fingers. "And I will always love you no matter what."

"You are right, babe, I will always care about you." He muttered and carried her by her lap and placed her on a table.

"What's this necklace, it is beautiful?" She asked touching the necklace.

"It's nothing really important, what is important now is how I am so drawn to you...I want you." He whispered into her ear and she rubbed his chest with her hands. She was nervous but when she stared at Chad in his eyes, she felt that nervousness melt away. "Not so shy now?"

"I want you to kiss me, Chad."

"What happened to you being shy around me?" Chad said grinning.

Tiana bit her lips, "I don't care about it, all I want is to..." Chad placed his finger on her lips.

"What do you want me to do?" Chad asked her.

"I want you to kiss me." She replied.

"What do you want me to do, babe?" Chad repeated.

"I want you to do anything that pleases you." Chad's lips parted into a wide smile, this was just what he wanted to hear from Tiana.
