Chapter 3- First Spirit Ring

Today was the day for spirit beast hunting, and he had sent a letter to Su Ling in preparation for his Spirit beast hunt. He was the only one who could assist him in capturing the 1000-year-old spirit beast. However, convincing him can be a challenge, but Clark is capable of doing so.

After a day, Su Ling arrived in Weiling town and waited for Clark to meet him at the entrance to Spring Academy.

"Hai uncle, how are you?" Clark inquired upon meeting Su Ling.

"I'm fine kiddo, I thought our meeting would be in the distant future but didn't expect it to happen so soon," Su Ling remarked, crossing his arms across his chest.

"Well...why don't we talk somewhere?" Clark said as they approached the stone seat within the Academy. Sat there as Clark said what purpose he called Su Ling.

"What! Are you out of your mind, Clark?" Su Ling yelled angrily.

"I know uncle, but listen to me, I can withstand the 1000-year spirit ring," Clark stated, attempting to persuade him.

"No, I won't agree to this, and it's very dangerous; if anything happens to you, I can't live with that guilty feeling for the rest of my life," Su Ling stated solemnly.

"Then, Uncle, you can stop me if any problem arises, and you know my stubborn personality," Clark stated firmly.

"Sigh, okay, we're leaving tomorrow and can't wait to see you making history in Douluo land, kiddo," Su Ling grumbled unsatisfaction as he knew this little devil's personality.

The next day, Clark and Su Ling were riding in a cart towards Star Luo Forest, and they were companied by a brown-haired lady who was the friend of Su Ling. Yun Li was her name, and she had a lovely face and a well-developed figure. Clark could sense their closeness, but neither of them was aware of their affection for the other.

"Awe! Such a cute boy" Yun Li hugged Clark and let him sit on her lap, while her arms wrapped around him.

"Ha-ha, I met this kid in my native village," Su Ling muttered, his voice breaking as he saw this little Devil enjoying her hug made him jealous and blamed himself for calling Yun Li for spirit beast hunting. Clark smirked as he saw his Uncle's jealous expression.

"But Clark, I'm still afraid to let you absorb the 1000-year spirit ring," Yun Li expressed concern. Even though it had only been a few days since they met, their connection had developed into a good one.

"It's fine; I'm confident it'll be a success," Clark added as he assured her.

A large bear with grey fur standing aggressively with wounds on its body screamed and lunged its claw towards Yun Li while shooting thunder at Su Ling who douched it. They discovered this Thunder bear while seeking the spirit beast that Clark desired to absorb, and it was also in the appropriate year to absorb.

"Third spirit ability: Throny poison wipe"

A throne vine fashioned with a Purple spirit ring shone behind Yun Li's hand. She caught the Thunder Grey bear's claw by swinging the throne vine, and the thrones dug into the Thunder Bear's skin. The poison began to spread, and the spirit beast's motions slowed. At that moment, a sharp Kunai stabbed the spirit beast's eye, which astonished both of them and caused them to gaze at Clark, who had damaged the Thunder bear's eye.

Then Su Ling blasted the beast's head with his hammer, causing it to fall to the ground while bleeding red blood. Yun Li was still stunned by Clark's use of Kunai to injure the spirit beast's eye, and when she glanced at him, there was no terror on his face that normal children would have terrified.

'So this is how people battle in this world,' Clark thought as he waited for this chance to see how others fight and how he can survive them if he fights with them. In an actual sense, he never needed them but he wanted to experience the battle style of this world.

"Now kill it, Clark," Yun Li shouted, throwing the scorched thorny vine due to the thunders of the bear. As a purple spirit ring formed above the dead body, he nodded his head and stabbed to slay the beast. Su Ling had a dignified look as he prepared to stop him if anything happened, and Clark took a breath as Yun Li was anxious.

Despite the pain, the process went smoothly, and Clark was able to absorb the 1000-year spirit ring. His spirit power increased to 12 levels, and his first spirit ability was Thunder Cage, which traps a person in a semi-sphere thunder cage. As expected, he could now do the Thunder-style Ninjstus, but only four times owing to limited Spirit power. He smiled slightly as if he couldn't wait to use Chidori.

'He did it, but it will be terrible if anyone finds his First spirit ring year, especially Spirit Hall,' Su Ling reflected on Clark's ability to absorb the purple spirit ring. Even if he had been envious about his first spirit ring year, Clark had previously sensed Su Ling's envy through his special talent of Uzumaki Clan's Kagura eyes.

'I should be careful when showing my strength to others' thought Clark.

"Wow, Clark, you are amazing, and you show me your spirit ability," Yun Li added as Clark nodded. His martial spirit shielded him, and his newly absorbed purple ring flared behind him as thunder sparks enveloped him, before a furious single thunder shattered the blunder in front.

[First spirit ability: Thunder Cage]

His purple ring rose behind him as the Thunder cage engulfed the large boulder, and he extended his hand while clenching his hand, which the Thunder cage compressed, leaving fractures and burns on the boulder. Within a minute, the Thunder cage crushed the boulder.

Su Ling was taken aback by the strength of his initial spirit ability, but Clark demonstrated how putting his spirit ability on himself protected him.

''Such a good spirit ability, but I never anticipated his spirit to be a defence and assault kind,' Yun Li thought as she called her spirit and wiped at his Thunder Cage, where her thrones were scorched.

"Well, kid, I don't think I need to tell you that talent can also bring trouble," Su Lin added solemnly, as Clark nodded his head with a knowing smile. They then exited the forest to take him to the Spring Academy.

"No! I don't want to leave you, Clark," Yun Li whispered as she held Clark tightly into her embrace, Su Lin watched them while grinning his teeth with jealousy.

"It's okay, sister Li; you can come and meet me whenever you want if you miss me." Clark, who was in her embrace, replied with a silly smile that Yun Li found adorable and hugged him again.

"OK!! Shall we go, Yun Li?" yelled Su Lin, who couldn't stand it any longer, making Clark laugh at his jealous expression.

''Uncle is so envious of me, and I can't wait to watch their wedding, lol,' Clark thought as he waved his hand to those who were leaving and he turned to go into the academy, as there were many things he should try his spirit power on.

There was a rocky section with many trees in the back of the Spring Academy where no students or staff would go because it was a rocky zone with many trees. Clark is conducting hand seals here, with his right hand gathered with high-concentration electricity and the resonance of birds chirping sounds.

"Chidori"

Clark yelled and lunged his lightning right hand towards the dead tree's trunks, pricing through it and blasting the inside of the trunk while preserving the tree's outer state was good. For a week, he practised Thunder-style Ninjutsu Chidori and its variants because he possessed talent and memories of Sasuke but was practically inexperienced, so he practised and improved his techniques daily.

"Phew, that was refreshing; now I should also practise illusions for that I just need to experience the battle so maybe I should go to that place," Clark stated as he drank some water. Then after some relaxing, he controlled his spirit power on the right palm where the spirit power transformed into a solid sphere which he pushed it the trunk. It was blasted by the blue sphere but Clark still showed some dissatisfaction.

"Seems like I need to go out," said Clark and prepare himself for travelling to Star Dou forest.
