CHAPTER TEN

THREE MONTHS LATER

For the past one week, Tao has been having morning sickness and vomiting, he guessed he was pregnant again and decided to visit the hospital to confirm it and it was confirmed that he was two weeks pregnant.

He didn't know if he was to be happy or sad about the news because he feels like Kris doesn't want them to have another child as he bought pregnancy preventive pills for him, seems like the last one wasn't effective, now he doesn't know how to tell Kris this but he can't abort his child whether Kris accepts it or not, he still had hopes that Kris would accept it after all Kris loves him.

Tao was driving back home when his car broke down, he came down to check what the problem was but it still didn't start and there was no car repair shop around. He was still trying to figure out what to do when he felt a tap on his shoulder, he turned to see a handsome man and guessed he was rich because he was looking well dressed.

"Hi I was driving past and saw you trying to repair your car in this hot sun and came to give a hand" said the stranger

"Oh thanks, yeah my car just broke down and there is no car repair anywhere" replied Tao

The stranger then tried to repair it too but it still didn't start, he then called someone to come take the car to a repair shop and gave the address to where the car is packed.

"I just called one of my boys to take the car to a repair shop, sorry I'm Sam by the way, what's yours?"

"I'm Tao and thanks for your help, which repair shop is he taking it to so I can pick it up tomorrow"

"xxxx shop"replied Sam

"Ok I know there, thanks will pick it up tomorrow" said Tao then started waiting for a cab but didn't see any.

After a while, Sam then approached Tao again

"Uhm since there is no cab, I can take you home, that's my car" said Sam as he pointed to where he car was parked.

It's been hours since Tao left the house and is worried about Liam though the nanny is around and there is no sign of a cab coming, Sam also doesn't look harmful so Tao allowed him give him a lift home, Tao then directed Sam to his place and within some minutes they arrived.

"Thanks for the drive, come inside let me serve you some snacks and drink, you really helped me today" said Tao while smiling as he wanted to show gratitude to the man.

"Alright, let's go" said Sam while smiling widely as he has seen an opportunity to get to know Tao more.

They then went inside only to hear the sound of a child crying, immediately Tao rushed

and carried Liam from the nanny.

"He has been crying for a while now Tao, I think he missed you" said the nanny while smiling

"Yeah thanks auntie, now Liam stop crying mommy is here now" Tao said while consoling his baby and after a while Liam stopped crying and slept off.

"Has Liam eaten auntie" asked Tao to the nanny

"Yes, he then started crying after a while" replied the nanny while chuckling then she saw a man sitting in the living room.

"Looks like you have a visitor Tao" said the nanny, Tao then remembered that he invited Sam in and gave Liam to the the nanny to carry to his room.

"I will be going to the market after taking Liam to bed" said the nanny, Tao then gave her money and left to attend to Sam, he went to the kitchen first to get snacks and a drink from the fridge, then served them to Sam.

"Sorry about that, my son was crying, I had to attend to him, enjoy the drink and snacks okay" said Tao

"Thanks, your son? are you married?" asked Sam with a furrowed brows as his chance of courting Tao was now gone.

Tao didn't know how to answer the question so he then decided to lie because he doesn't know if Sam might know Kris and Gulf, it's a small world after all and he was ashamed to tell him that he was a mistress to the father of his child.

"Yeah I'm married but my husband stays abroad but visits us monthly" said Tao

"Oh that's cool, what did I expect though, you're very beautiful so you wouldn't be available, guess I came very late" Tao then blushed and laughed over what Sam said, than then started talking about little things and joking over some stuff, they were enjoying each other's company so far forgetting that Kris was visiting them today as he doesn't like him associating with men.

Kris came to visit Tao today, he comes to visit and sometimes stay with them for some weeks. He drove into the compound only for him to see a car that he doesn't recognize, he then heard Tao's laughter which was followed by an unfamiliar laughter, he immediately entered the house as he thought Tao was cheating on him and was shocked at what he saw.

Tao was very close to the stranger, the stranger was holding Tao's hands and they were almost close to each other as if they wanted to kiss, that was how it's was from Kris point of view but actually Sam's drink poured on him mistakenly and Tao went to get a clothe to clean his shirt while mocking him of being clumsy which made them both laugh out loud, Tao then held his clothe to clean it but Sam held his hands stopping him that he could do it himself, that was when Kris then came inside.

"TAO!!!!"shouted Kris, immediately Tao saw Kris he stood up erectly and approached him to explain but seeing how Kris was shaking in anger, he shut up.

"Uhm Sam, thanks for the help again, we'll talk later okay" said Tao as they have already shared each other's contact, Sam then left.

"Tao what were you doing with him, so you are cheating on me huhh!!" shouted Kris

"What! I'm not, you know I can never cheat on you Kris, you misunderstood what happened, I was just cleaning him because his mistakenly poured his drink on himself" replied Tao, just as he finished Kris slapped him very hard to the extent he fell to the seat. He then looked at Kris in shock as Kris hasn't raised a finger on him before

"What have I told you about associating with men huhh!...you even had the guts to bring him into the house you slut!, you can whore around but definitely not in my house okay "bombarded Kris then left Tao there and went to Liam's room.

To say that Tao was very shocked is an understatement because it was far from that, he couldn't believe that Kris could slap him and even call him a whore and a slut when he has been the only person Tao has slept with, he was also the person that took his virginity, hearing him say those words to him broke him without repair, he just sat there crying loudly because he couldn't hold it back.
