After successfully defusing all the bombs, everyone regrouped at the Foundry. With Digger Harkness, also known as Captain Boomerang, now neutralized, Oliver arranged for him to be imprisoned on the tropical island, where he would become Slade Wilson's new cellmate.
In the midst of these events, Diggle proposed to Lyla, and she agreed to remarry him.
But the day held more than just those events. Caitlin, who had recently acquired cryokinesis, found herself unable to approach anyone except Swayam for some time. Her cryokinesis was more potent and dangerous than her counterpart's in the Flash TV show. Initially, Caitlin feared she might harm her loved ones and friends if she got too close, but thankfully, Swayam didn't let that fear take root and cause her trauma.
When everyone realized that Caitlin was a metahuman, they didn't fear or loathe her. Instead, they were concerned because she couldn't be around normal people due to her condition.
However, she might have been unable to interact with the others if Swayam hadn't calmed her emotional state and reassured her that he would be with her no matter what—even if she accidentally harmed someone, he would still stand by her side. Only after hearing the determination and conviction in her lover's voice did Caitlin accept herself.
After helping Team Arrow capture Captain Boomerang, Cisco and Barry returned to Central City, as they couldn't be absent for long. Caitlin and Swayam, however, stayed behind. Caitlin had come to Starling City primarily to have a date with Swayam, with helping Felicity with Canary's murder case being a secondary objective. But due to Caitlin's condition, they couldn't be around others, which saddened her, as she had hoped to visit various romantic spots in Starling City. Although her plans got canceled, her goal of staying close to Swayam was fulfilled. During those two days, he took on the role of her teacher, helping her gain enough control to avoid accidentally using her powers.
Even though Caitlin wanted to stay longer in Starling City and enjoy her vacation with Swayam, they eventually realized that remaining at Team Arrow's base could lead to unintended damage as Caitlin learned to control her abilities. So, they decided to head back to Central City to continue her practice there.
Before leaving, Felicity had asked for Caitlin's help, but due to Caitlin's inability to be near her tools without breaking them, Swayam assisted Felicity instead.
Afterward, Caitlin and Swayam decided to return to Central City. Swayam carried Caitlin back in his arms, opting to use his superhuman speed and strength out of concern for what might happen if Caitlin's powers were accidentally activated during conventional travel.
Upon returning to S.T.A.R. Labs, Harrison Wells and Cisco, who had already been informed about the events in Starling City, presented Caitlin with a solution: a bracelet designed to suppress the excess cryokinetic energy in her body.
After wearing the bracelet, Caitlin returned to a somewhat normal life, albeit with the newfound ability to manipulate and control the three states of water—albeit with certain limitations.
Things continued like this for a few days until Caitlin managed to gain some control over her cryokinetic energies, even without the need for the bracelet. However, she still preferred to wear it because she feared she might lose control of her emotions and the hard-won stability she had achieved.
During her training, as she gradually mastered her powers, Caitlin surprised everyone by demonstrating the ability to switch between the three states of matter. This revealed that her powers weren't limited to ice manipulation, as everyone had initially thought. Instead, she was actually manipulating matter itself, a feat she could only accomplish when she removed the bracelet.
Swayam, being extremely familiar with her, understood her fears and didn't force her to go beyond her comfort zone. He respected her choice, allowing her to proceed at her own pace and do what she felt was best.
