“Do you think they were looking for us?” Mike asked.
“I’m not sure. We still don’t know if they were outside the clinic because they heard an American was being treated or if it was random,” she said.
“I’m not sure I believe in random at the moment,” Kurt commented.
“Yeah, well, there’s too much we don’t know. Did Givens sendthe guy who shot you? Since the report to SPAWAR said you were MIA, are the good people hunting for you or the ones looking tied into the incident?” Maggie asked.
“Who did Givens kill? All I could tell from where I was, was that it was one of our guys. His back was to me,” Kurt said.
“Iglesias,” Mike answered.
“One of the younger Rangers. Shit…I am so sorry for his family.” Kurt looked solemn.
Mike squeezed Kurt’s shoulder. “We’re gonna try and make it right.”
“We should eat and then get some rest if possible. I’ll keep an eye out the window,” Maggie said.
