'Huh, what does that even mean? I guess I need to explore the new functions later.

A few weeks have passed since I was reincarnated into this world. It seems that my name now is James Rembrandt, what is strange is Rembrandt is the household name of my mother, a countess. This means that it is confirmed that as her son, I have inherited the estate and family-owned property of ours, but the strange thing is no one has spoken anything about my father.

As of now, I do not have a single clue who my father is but when I tried to ask either Richard or Elizabeth about it, they changed the subject.

Speaking of Richard, because I've noticed him training in the morning, I asked him to help me to train my body. He refused at first saying that I have a weak constitution and am too worried that something might happen to me, but I was able to convince him when he saw my health getting better and now, I am able to have a light jog.

Although sometimes I do feel that I suddenly get weak, but because of Richard's mentorship my stamina has grown now.

'System why is there only a mana point parameter and none for hit points?'

Usually, it goes together in games and novels, right? Really strange to see they are not together on my Stats page.

[There is only a mana point parameter because it is deemed that hit points do not make sense in this world. If a person loses their head during a fight they will die, instead of basing your health on numerical values it is deemed more appropriate and the law of the world makes more sense if there are not any hit point parameters.]

The system's explanation actually makes sense. Well, if the deciding factor whether you will die is based on hit points then it does not really make sense if you cut off your opponent's head for example then let's say you only damaged him for 3 points and he has 97 more hp.

So, does that mean if you cut someone's head off he will still be alive because 97 more hp or he is essentially dead because well he has no head, except for dullahans I guess?

Okay enough of that, time to distribute my attribute points.

Let's see since my constitution is so low, I think I am going to focus on distributing the Attribute points to my constitution, my body is really quite frail and although it has improved because of Richard's training I am still quite sickly and weak.

Then distribute three points to strength so I can defend myself. And one point for agility, so I can move my body better, thinking of it becoming more agile like an acrobat.

"Young master it is time for your meal."

As I was training in the garden I saw Elizabeth carrying a tray filled with my breakfast.

During the first few days in this world, I found out that the household only has three employees, Richard, Elizabeth, and Helmina. Helmina is a chef that worked in the household, she said that she has served the house since she was a teenager and now seeing that she is in her mid-40s I believe that she has worked quite hard for this house.

I hurried over to the table and gestured to Elizabeth to sit down with me.

"I would highly appreciate it if you would join me in my meal Elizabeth."

"I would love to young master, but it seems that it would be inappropriate for a maid to eat together with her master."

"No, it's okay, I do not mind, besides, you are like my elder sister." I showed her an innocent smile. Elizabeth beamed when she heard the words 'Elder Sister' It really does seem like she thinks of me as her younger brother.

"Well, don't mind if I do young master." She bowed and rushed back to the kitchen and got her own meal. She sat down with me for breakfast, and we talked for a while.

A few hours later I am now back in my room studying my system. Based on my research and well tests, it seems that I am able to put a bounty on anything that I want and the system will put a value as a reward for it.

An example of this is when I tried to test my theory on a caterpillar, when I put a bounty on the caterpillar it showed this.

The system deemed the appropriate value of the caterpillar as 1 copper coin each, which means that if I kill a caterpillar, I will be able to get a copper coin from the bounty.

But the most interesting thing that I learned in this experiment is that whenever I am near someone or something from the Bounty list, I entered a peculiar state.

It felt like my body became tense and my mind calmed down to the extreme. I have become stoic, and my focus was on another level.

I grabbed an old letter opener from my mother's study room and then proceeded with my experiment on caterpillars. When I got to the garden, I quickly spotted one of the summer lilacs.

When I got close, I think within a distance of 2 meters my body got into Hunt mode. I called it the Hunt mode because it is quite simple and easy to remember.

With my newfound capabilities, I quickly sliced the head of the caterpillar from its body, it was like a blur from my perspective and the action can be said to be fast even with my body's condition.

When I got the reward, I expected it to fall from the sky or even magically appear on my hand from thin air but thankfully, the reward was sent to my Inventory when I checked it. This means that if ever in the future I have to kill someone in a sneaky way, then I will rest assured that the chance of me being noticed by people is less.
