11 Toray and Growth

Reeka left my side and went to her world apparently outside rolling in the sheets she's not into anything that requires work. Alone I travel to Toray, Reeka had marked it my map. My goal for walking is to encounter monsters on the way to level up. Also, I create to bit safer magic to use, Void is amazing but it isn't good for a lot of scenarios unless I can use it with greater control, as I walk I rack my brain. I want something useful in most in close combat or with a crowd. It needs to do damage but be safe for innocent people and not destroy the surroundings. While thinking on this another thought crosses my mind. The system it's not a system it seems that readily feeds info but it offered replies when I asked so let's have a conversation.

'System' Can I infuse a weapon with magic? Affirmative.

How do I go about It then? Host creates a spell then forces into the weapon or Host draws a magic circle on the weapon and uses mana to activate the circle.

How do draw I magic circles? It's a learned skill. Host can learn the skill from scrolls or a teacher. A scroll is available in the system store. Warning store is locked till level 15

Is there an advantage to either form? Magic circle variation requires host mana, if it's a forced spell it will draw mana from the atmosphere.

Can you suggest a spell that could be forced into a weapon that would make a plain sword powerful? I can only suggest from magic available to host, Host can only use void Magic, Void magic impossible to force into a weapon, any material in contact with void ceases to exist.

'Good to know' … What are innate abilities? They are abilities existing naturally in host as the result of his ancestors.

How do I access them? ***Error***

That's troubling I suppose that's gonna be up to me? Reeka mentioned it was unforeseen so I can only assume the system can process something it wasn't designed for in the beginning.

This is depressing. I made it to Toray, no monsters on the way and no new magic yet.

Once arriving I take in the surrounding and hit the guild. The mission netted 5 silver and 100 Exp again. The hostess made me do a reassessment before I left. I didn't consider it before. After the reassessment I was raised to a D rank. She explained while I had only completed 2 jobs my level was high enough to be considered D now. This seems weird I'm only an 8. Are the requirements low for levels or is the general strength of this place low? Well I'll figure it out as I go. In Toray I'm gonna use the guilds inn to stay in. I go ahead and paid for 2 weeks of food and shelter then peek at the jobs. I just looked since it's late and an idea came to mind for magic when I arrived.

After settling into my room I sit on the floor. Extending my hand I picture in my mind trees swaying, warm and cool breezes on my face, then I picture a tornado spinning and the force that the wind creates at that moment I run man into my right hand. Just as before a force wraps around me and I press more mana into my hand picturing a swirl of wind in it. Then a breeze starts I look at my hand and while it can't be seen there is a swirling breeze in my hand. I force more mana in and the breeze get stronger. I stop my mana and the breeze disappears.

Wind Magic Obtained: Mastery 1/10

Alright I did it now I grab my sword. It's really worn and in bad shape. Money is in short supply for now if I destroy I have no choice to buy another but if it works I can really save on gear in the future. This will be different as I have no clue how to force magic into the sword so my only thing is to try the same method as my magic and visualize it. With that being my only thought I start. Placing my hand on the worn blade I close my eyes and picture a sword slicing through the air enveloped in a hair like layer of wind, the wind is emitting terrible force ripping through everything it touches leaving destruction just like a tornado. As the thoughts of this cross my mind I recall the wind magic and push it against the blade I imagine it seeping into the blade and becoming a part of the blade like it was a natural element to its structure. I force more mana all while maintaining these thoughts then.

Item Created: Short Wind Sword— A short sword infused with a fine edge of wind with metal piercing capabilities.

Honestly, what am I? I I've seen these stories in my past in anime and LNs but isn't this too easy. Is this the innate abilities at work maybe and I'm not as smart as I think maybe all the experience from those bloodlines just make it easier. It's time for an experiment.

I close my eyes and picture the lake bed from this morning. Extending my right hand I picture a doorway, thru that door way I can see the lake bed I exert a decent bit of mana out of my hand and I'm engulfed in warmth. Opening my eyes, get the fuck out of here.

While it doesn't confirm the bloodlines theory it proves my thoughts don't have to be complicated at all. This is cheat level stuff here. I wonder if this is beyond what Ena and Reeka could imagine, it was learned but it appeared as a error, I am capable of circumventing the system? Now only Reeka and Ena can enter the goddess world right? Let's test that. I picture the altar of Reeka in the goddess world where I was lead after the summons. Extending my had 'Gate' and there it is. I wonder if she will be upset. I can't go in due to the time flow but I'm gonna yell! REEKA! ENA! After several times Ena appears at the door. Complete bewilderment is on her face. After standing there a second she walks into my room so I shut off the gate.

"What? How? How did you do that? That should be impossible! You can't teleport into the Goddess World!"

"I didn't teleport. It's a gate."

"I understand but how did you just manifest it like that? Gates as we know it need two gates at two locations with matching teleport circles. It's still more like controlled teleportation. Only I and Reeka can do it, but this is astonishing and it makes me nervous. You can create things beyond our expectations, please speak of none of this beyond me and Reeka."

"I was experimenting using knowledge from my past world. It was a concept I learned from let's just say literary works. If I can visualize the places I've been I can create a direct link to them."

"One question, is there a link magically between here and my old world ?"

"Yes, it was necessary to establish so I could travel and study that place."

"Where is the link? Where does it lead exactly?"

"Anywhere, it's faint but it is enough to travel anyway."

"If it's possible for me to create a gate can I visit? Is the time flow different?"

"The flow is the same but I'm not sure if you can get there. I don't really care if you do it but you must be careful. I think I should say something like no you can't try it but I don't think that's fair after what we put you through. Just if you succeed use caution and protect this place. Keep this between us I don't wanna concern Reeka. Well I'm off. If you do anything else amazing get in contact. Don't enter the Goddess World though, I guess a gate is ok as long you don't step through, just don't want you to lose time. Grab onto me really quick, I'm gonna slow time a second."

With that I grabbed Ena. She teleported us to her home let me look for about 10 seconds then we came back. She asked me to open a gate to confirm it worked. I did so.

"If you need me now you can open a gate directly to my home and call for me. Bye!"

She stepped through and then it was released. Now I know what I'm capable of when it comes to magic it's time to work! I've died twice I don't want to do it again. It's a painful experience.
