"I asked you a question" Mrs Margret's cold voice finally interrupted their trail of thoughts.
Harrison knew that his inability to answer her sooner had certainly angered her,and this caused the old woman's voice to sound like a death whisper to him, making his entire body tremble.
For Alex on the other hand, it only brought him back from his daze.
"I-I-I" Harrison did not know what to say and could only stutter,hoping for magic words to fly out of his mouth on their own.
Both Alex and Mrs Margret raised their eyebrows, waiting for what Harrison would say next. But the honorable senior could not give a well enough sophisticated speech and could only stutter unceasingly instead.
Alex finally decided to help Harrison out,although it only turned out to have a completely different effect than he had expected his words to have.
