It was June 6th, the dreaded day of the enemy attack.

Anastasia was on the phone with her mother, frowning as she asked for an update on the Midnight pack warriors meant to reinforce their ranks.

"They're on their way, don't worry," her mother assured her. "Everything is going according to plan. Just take care of yourself and the warriors under your command."

Anastasia nodded, feeling a little relieved but still tense. "Alright, I'll handle things here. Stay safe."

She hung up and turned to survey the warriors assembled in the training area, all geared up and ready to defend their pack against the impending enemy onslaught.

As her keen gaze swept over them, her eyes narrowed when she spotted Liam starting to move forward, seemingly breaking formation.

Anastasia rushed over, confused and concerned. "Snow! What the hell do you think you're doing?" she demanded in a harsh whisper-yell.
