True Power

Vrochis offer is tempting for everyone. However, Clare was different. What does eternal mean? Just live long and do useless things for the rest of your life. To feel the pain of the world forever, it is not profitable. Clare is a simple person, she doesn't like anything too much and she will stick to her principles. If she was born immortal, it was acceptable to her, but if he became a true immortal and killed many people, it was an unacceptable crime.

Clare knew what Vrochis meant by uniting souls. Their black and white souls will unite and their good and bad qualities will unite. That Clare wasn't the current Clare. There is only one word that is "kill" and he will be a ruthless person. Moreover, Vrochis is an evil monster, will merge with Clare's pure soul. Clare's pure soul will turn to ashes and her nature will mix with ferocity.

I don't mind the refining you mean, it's for my good. It's not my family's fault." Even though Clare was angry, she still thought about the positives. She's still going to find out the real reason. She didn't trust Vrochis.

Vrochis snorted. "Stupid! Everyone wants to be you, but you're wasting it."

"I don't care." Clare's voice grew cold.

Vrochis' face darkened and there was a look of ferocity. "In that case, it looks like I'll have to resort to force."

Vrochis' human form changed. Its body expands and changes color. As it got bigger and bigger, the surrounding monsters became frightened as its aura dispersed.

His voice boomed. The birds in the trees were startled and flew away from the scene. Only Clare is still standing with a cold look. She stood as if she was just watching a show and seemed to have no intention of fighting back.

"If I don't let you, you'll be the one who will be destroyed." Clare spoke coldly and calmly.

"Haha, if I dare to do it, it means I already know the solution." Vrochis groaned again fiercely.

Fiercely, Vrochis sped off quickly. The ground had moved, disturbing Clare's balance. The longer Vrochis gets closer to Clare with his big claws protruding. When the distance reached 3 meters, Vrochis raised his pointed claws towards Clare.

It wasn't Clare that was hit by the claw, but the tree behind Clare while Clare jumped using Vrochis' body as a support and pushed her legs behind Vrochis. Clare didn't want to use too much energy, even though she was emotional, but her mind remained clear. She couldn't possibly sacrifice herself to survive something that was impossible to kill on his own.

Clare snorted then jumped up the tree and saw Vrochis below. When the next attack hits Clare, Clare jumps back into the next tree. Attack after attack was directed at Clare again and Clare continued to jump towards the tree until several trees collapsed due to Vrochis' attack. Clare had only been dodging since earlier, she was just waiting for the crucial moment to bring out her true strength.

Vrochis roared angrily. He shook the ground and jumped at Clare. Using her claws back and blocking the direction Clare dodged. Clare has no direction anymore. She jumped down and came face to face with Vrochis's large, pointy claws. Clare held her claws with her bare hands, fresh blood dripping from her hands from the claws and legs still trying to hold her position so as not to collapse.

Clare couldn't hold it in anymore. Her legs were back and trembling. Vrochis used his strength to repulse Clare until she was blown away. Clare didn't fall, she kept her feet from falling on the tree body and pushed her feet towards Vrochis. She was determined to fight it, not just dodge. When Clare launched an attack on Vrochis's body, suddenly something made Clare excited and widened her eyes.

Vrochis again uses mental attacks until Clare kneels on the ground holding her aching head. Clare groaned in pain, her head was like being hit by a big rock but Clare couldn't faint at all.

"Stop it..." Clare moaned. She still closed her eyes and clutched her aching head.

"Isn't this the most suitable torture?" Vrochis laughed. He was happy to see Clare going crazy and making it easy for her to master Clare's soul.

"Stop it!!" Clare screamed. She could only say that one word as her mouth became heavy from the intense pain.

Vrochis grinned sharply. He raised his claws which were getting longer and longer, longer than before. He wanted to play around with Clare's pain for a while, but he didn't have much time. He wanted to solve the problem right now, destroy Clare's soul and transfer her soul to Clare's body.

"No...." Clare was still groaning in pain as she slowly backed away. She could see Vrochis' claws that would hit her at any moment.

Vrochis was silent. Didn't say a word and immediately straightened his claws about to stab Clare.

Boom

Explosion happened. Vrochis froze on the spot leaning forward and his claws thin forward. He didn't have time to hit anything and his hands flew through the air in the same position. It was as if something was blocking him like a huge wall, but there was nothing in front of him except Clare.

That's right, it's Clare!

Clare's eyes turned golden and looked sharp as if she wasn't real Clare. She was already standing upright with his head lowered until her loose hair covered part of her face while her golden eyes were fixed on Vrochis. A light flashed in her hand and her nails were long and pointed. It was the pure form of an immortal witch!

The explosion occurred due to Clare fighting the mental attack and caused it to go out of control. All of her energy gathered in his body and created a great power, her mind was no longer clear but controlled by its power.

Clare straightened her gaze and raised one of her shining hands. Directing it to the side roughly so that Vrochis was thrown in the same direction.

The killing intent around Clare came out thickly. Her eyes were full of murderous aura and in her mind there was only the word "kill" according to what Vrochis had said earlier. Her strength was at the peak and she wouldn't recognize pain while fighting.

Lightning flashed under the black clouds. At the top of the academy's castle, Professor Armstrong stood gazing at the dark clouds and loud thunder. There was a red light coming from the forbidden forest, ordinary people wouldn't see it, but as an immortal, Professor Armstrong could see it clearly.

He muttered. "The immortal witch is back."

He just stood there staring at the window towards the forbidden forest. It was as if he was watching what was happening in there where there was Clare who was still in her position like a statue.

Vrochis got up and his body was still fine. Clare's attack earlier was only a fraction of her power to dodge Vrochis and the monster wasn't hurt at all. Perhaps if it had been a human, it would have crumbled and fallen into a coma.

Clare tilted her head, without any expression she looked at Vrochis with a pitiful look. Actually, a genuine immortal mage will emit red and black energy instead of gold or white. It was due to the purification that Clare had been doing all this time until the evil power in her body was removed to become clean. However, because the mental attack earlier made Clare weak and her consciousness was taken over by her power.

Vrochis made another attack. With his speed he attacks Clare and Clare continues to dodge. Vrochis used all-out attacks on various sides until it appeared that there were more than two Vrochis. Then use his claws to slightly hurt Clare's neck and arms.

When the claws again slashed at Clare's waist, Clare's eyes flashed a brighter light as did her hands. Clare floats in the air several meters away with a bloodthirsty aura. The wind was blowing hard, blowing Clare back so that her expressionless face could be seen. Now Clare is doing the attack. She launched an attack from the air towards Vrochis with his hand. The light gradually escaped and made an explosion on the ground where the light landed.

So far, Vrochis hasn't been hit by his attacks at all, making Clare even angrier. Clare flew towards Vrochis quickly like lightning and pulled the two trees behind her up to the roots. Two trees floated above his head and were released towards Vrochis. The thumping sound was louder. It wasn't just an all-out attack that Clare let out in a fit of rage. Clare also makes a lump of rock and earth into a giant ball above her head and is released towards Vrochis.

However, it was all in vain. Vrochis was much faster than expected making Clare's killing intent even more intense. Clare pulled rocks and crushed them into pointed rocks then aimed at Vrochis. The rocks floated with Clare's control, following the direction Vrochis ran without the slightest gap. Clare had focused on Vrochis and the pointed rocks, but Vrochis suddenly appeared behind him, hitting him so far that Clare's control slipped and fell heavily. The ground beneath Clare cracked, but Clare didn't seem to feel any pain even though her body was injured and bleeding a lot.

"Surrender, you can't kill me." Vrochis smirked as if he had seen his victory.

Clare had indeed lost a lot of energy, but she didn't give up. Clare again launched a direct attack at Vrochis. She ran as fast as lightning until it was unpredictable and suddenly was in front of Vrochis and repelled Vrochis with hrr strength. Vrochis bounced back and a branch that Clare had initially made pointy as it disappeared pierced through her skin.

Vrochis roared in pain. The branch was quite large and penetrated the skin all the way to the front. But it doesn't hit the vital area so that Vrochis can still fight back.

While walking towards Vrochis, Clare spoke coldly. "I already took your eyes and hands back then. Maybe now your heart or your head."

Clare arrived exactly 3 meters away from Vrochis, looked at him in disgust and immediately thrust his arm forward. Vrochis's head clings to the tree trunk like it's being strangled. Clare did strangle him from afar, she was too disgusted to touch Vrochis directly.

"Now I'm confused. Gotta head first or go straight to the heart." Clare turned towards Vrochis chest and from afar pressed against his heart.

Vrochis groaned in pain from having his heart pressed like that. An evil smile appeared on Clare's lips then returned to her head. Clare tilted her head and tightened the pressure on her neck and was pulled up until a trail of blood appeared from the torn skin.

The skin was so hard that Clare could hardly pull it off. Maybe if there was a weapon like a sword or knife, she was much easier. Even just pulling out his heart was difficult because his skin was so thick. Clare let go of her torment, not because she was helpless or gave up, but because she didn't like to linger because of that tough skin.

Clare immediately turned her hand towards the eyes that were already intact then pulled them with all her strength. Vrochis roared in pain, this was much more painful than being stabbed. After getting the two floating eyes, Clare threw them away carelessly without having to touch them.

Clare just stared at Vrochis in pain and was still not satisfied. She shot forward and tore apart Vrochis' body with her sharp nails. Her nails were like knives and very sharp and long, she had cuts everywhere and black blood was splattered on her hands. Clare looked like a frustrated person, she was torturing the monster that had tortured her mercilessly. She was annoyed that she couldn't kill him right away.

While Clare was going crazy, Vrochis endured the pain and tried to remove the wood that stuck him. He broke a branch behind him and his body immediately collapsed.

Clare was silent for a moment seeing Vrochis lying on the ground with blood splattered. Her emotions were already overflowing and she didn't want to give the monster a breath.

Vrochis floated in the air and his body was covered in white light. Clare cracked and partially fractured her bones, but that's not her weakness. Suddenly Vrochis can move and immediately jumps kicking Clare down. Clare's control was lost and she fell down while Vrochis stood with threat in his eyes.

Now Vrochis is torturing Clare. He couldn't kill Clare now, but he could torture her into giving up. Clare keeps getting thrown far away and her body is getting weaker. Vrochis didn't let Clare use her strength anymore and strangled her neck until it didn't touch the ground.

Clare was almost out of breath. She can't do anything even fight though. Then her body floated and collapsed until the trees fell right above her. Clare held the tree with her strength and threw it at Vrochis.

Vrochis was getting angry. He returned to his strongest attack and didn't care if Clare would die or not. Just when Vrochis was near Clare with that sinister appearance, Clare felt her body float in the air and a booming sound occurred not far from where she was.

Someone brought Clare!

Vrochis roared in anger. He had lost Clare again and again to the same person.
