Immortal Simulation
Dalvin is a young man who spends his time working on art commissions for online clients while trying to improve his declining fitness. In order to quell his boredom, he downloads a strange mobile app called 'Path of Heaven,' advertised as a free Eastern fantasy-style game with great immersion. However, upon creating his character, an accident occurs, and Dalvin ends up awakening a space/time element physique, which causes him to be dragged into the world of 'Path of Heaven,' known as Tianzi! With his life at stake and only the ability to simulate a certain amount of time into the future, he must navigate his way through this dangerous and cutthroat cultivation world!
The Apocalypse Problem
There were a lot of things Dalvin was expecting to hear from Gaia about their current situation, but definitely not this. Seeing his confusion, Gaia sighed and elaborated further.
"Every world has its lifespan. So does every star, every galaxy, and even every universe. Once that natural lifespan comes to an end, the entity in question is supposed to perish."
"However, much like cultivators who can extend their lives by ingesting energy, so too can worlds and other entities extend their lifespan beyond that of what was given. However, much as cultivators suffer under lightning and thunder tribulations due to the rules, entities also suffer if they extend their lives through something called the Apocalypse."
