Chapter 29 [Shami]

In a several story building that was several feet in height, a room full of business suit-wearing men and women are currently having a meeting about what has just been reported by Hideo, something that was regarding the fact that Yui wasn't just one entity-- but two.

The said room was very dark and only the projector that they have turned for the meeting was the only thing that was brightening up the room, the people in the meeting were sat at a table that was long and had a futuristic look to it.

"So you're saying that she's a goddess' servant?" A woman who had a uptight personality questioned the person who was still speaking as well as the one that called the meeting.

"That makes total sense now, no wonder she was a Class SSS spirit when we first got reports about her." A man on one end of the table added.

Among all of the spirits or entities there's a ranking that devides them all within the categories: SSS, SS, S, A, B,C, and the lowest D.

Althought this are just mere ranks based on their powers, this also determines whether or not they'll take action against the said spirit or entity.

If the entity was only a mere "D" rank then the Earth's Immortal Management Division would most likely just ignore it or just observe it if it's powers increases-- therefor making it go up by a rank or two depending on how much power it has at the moment it's powers increases. At that point the E.I.M.D would likely to take action for the safety of all the humans.

"We were lucky that she decided to side with us when Hideo went after her, we would've killed her if she didnt." The same man that called the meeting replied feeling a bit relieved while imagining how bad it would be to try and elimate her and her immense powers that could easily wipe out a whole squad of members of their group with just a mere slip up.

We're gonna have to give her a hand this time, after all the help that she has given us...

In the the E.I.M.D building's dorm a small group spirits are currently surrounding a smaller fox spirit that resembled a certain silver-haired fox spirit.

"Shami? Why hast thou called me by thy name?"

The mysterious girl that was un-named before tilted her head in confusion as the girls just started calling her by a name specific name.

"Why? Well... won't it be weird to not have a name to address you by?" Kuro replied, who was just a few feet away from the girl

"I do not need the name."

"Oh come on... Might as well have one since you're gonna be staying with us for now." Kanade protested, approaching the girl who was accross the room from her.

"Thou! Thou!" Shami called out, looking straight at Yui who was drinking tea in one corner.

She's so loud... Since when was she like this...? Her personality changed... Did they do something to her?

Yui held her head in annoyance from Shami trying to call out to her.

Yui had no idea that ever since Shumizu interacted with her something truly mysterious had occured between the two of them... With a sudden burst of mana that scattered all over the room, Shami started acting more like a normal fox spirit from her previous personality which was robotic in nature every time she spoke.

"What?" Yui finally gave in to Shami's annoying nagging.

"Why hast they called me using a name?"

What...? Is she that innocent and unaware? Surely... She should atleast be aware that it's hard to address her without using a name?

Kuro suddenly stopped what she was doing and stared at Shami in disbelief at what she had just heard from the girl.

"It's hard to just adress someone without a name." Kaede replied instead of Yui, laid down on the sofa with eyes closed.

Could the blood ritual that made Yui wake up work as a mana stabilizer for Shami?

But then again... That might just backfire and make her vanish...

Kuro continued her thoughts with a possible solution as the others were busy talking or doing something.

Could this idea be a potential solution for Shami? or could this just be a random idea that won't work at all?

*Wheeeeeoooooo*

Their free time was suddenly interupted by the emergency siren that would go off whenever a potential threat to the city approaches, like that time with Ten.

With the lights also turning red throughout the whole dormitory, team one along with the currently one member of team two; Miku leaving Shami alone for the time being since this was a emergency, all teleported to Hideo's office for a briefing about the said threat.

"Looks like that snow woman Yoshino managed to escape our detainment, She was last spotted by civilians in the Asakusa area while runninh amok in the area." Hideo stated, while showing pictures of the said snow woman in the Asakusa area through a projector.

Could this by Ten's handiwork?

Is this another attempt at attacking us?

But why would she do this though?

All six girls thought of the same thing simultaneously, thinking about how Ten's attempt the first time had failed with only Yui being defeated.

Their briefing on what was happening was short after they had teleported to the location where Yoshino is currently causing destruction to the area.

Their surroundings had already looked like it was winter when they arrived with a cold breeze to match it, this was a clear and obvious proof that she was nearby.

"Don't let you're guard down. She might be hiding somewhere..." Yui started looking around the area for the snow woman with her spear already been deployed.

*Shing!*

Suddenly a ice shard came flying from behind her at the same lightning-like speed that they were launched as that first encounter with Yoshino at the school grounds.

This was countered by Yui's spear, shattering it in the process.

"There you are..." Yui's split persona came out once again, turning around to face the direction of where to shard had come from.

"Who helped you escape?" Yui continued, making her spear glow in preperation of charging at the escapist.

With no reply nor any signs of speaking, Yoshino started to run away from Yui, as if she didn't have any intention to fight her.

"Are you insulting me?! Come back here!"

A capture spell was triggered, pulling Yoshino towards Yui.

I can't be captured here... I still have a order to complete.... Not atleast I finish the order my new master gave me...

The snow woman started to struggle, causing the chains made of light to shake from all of her movement.

"What's wrong? Have you gone soft from being detained?" Yui attempted to make Yoshino talk by insulting her but this only resulted with another shard of ice being launched at her.

"Talk damn it!" Yui insulted once again, the chains started to drag faster.

Here's that personality again...

The others could only watch as Yui already started her capturing, with Miku on one of the rooftops of the surrounding buildings trying to lookout for any incoming surprise attacks.

*Crash!*

Yui's chains of light were shattered by a mysterious spell that was casted by a unknown person that was hiding near a alley, wearing a black hoodie.

"Reinforcements, huh? "

Yui smirked as she sensed some traces of magic in the air as the spell had broken her chains, she then ordered the others to hunt down the caster.

[To be continued...]

Who was the caster of the spell? find out on the next chapter!
