Immortal in Apocalpyse (1)

Part 1-Immortal in Apocalpyse

The peaceful world successfully turned into an apocalyptic one in 2055 when technology was at its peak.

The zombie virus broke out all over the world and people coming to bite you became a normal occurrence. Lifeless people walking by the street looking for prey in a horde was a normal sight for ordinary people who went to salvage food.

If it was only that, then 1 billion people in the world could have made it. They could have beat the apocalypse and returned the world to normal.

But, in 2060, when humans had defeated the zombie horde and gained 60% of the world, increased their population to 1.5 billion, established a farming land, and were living relatively peacefully, another event rocked their world.

The sky turned purple, the lightning descended to the ground, and space tore apart. It was once commonly known as a dungeon, which was filled with vicious monsters.

The first small dungeon appeared, then bigger and bigger. The dungeon created a fog of fear in people's hearts.

They thought their world had turned into a fantasy, a magical realism novel. They thought they had overcome everything.

But... Peace is only for a limited time.

2070—

The world was divided into five parts.

Zombieland is where zombies roam free. In Mutated Beast Land, where wild, ferocious beasts that could tear you apart in one bite roam, Monster Land, where monsters roam. These areas are filled with a variety of dungeons where dungeon outbreaks are normal. Aquatic Land is a place where mutated fish, sharks, and other aquatic monsters roam. This is the biggest part of this world. And finally, the human land, the smallest part of which only occupies 15% of this world with a population of a mere 50 million.

Like dungeons, ruins appeared. These are in the form of ancient buildings and appear randomly. This was the favorite place of humans as they could find ancient and powerful items, weapons, and armor.

**********

In recent times, a ruin has appeared in the middle of human land.

A huge building which was made up of mysterious stones that glowed white in the dark and glowed greenish in the sun. It didn't have any windows, nor any doors. There was only a huge hole that could even fit a whale inside.

The green vines have surrounded this building and moss has conquered its walls. With its dark and haunted-like aura, it made people think countless times before stepping inside.

Inside this ruin, which was covered with nothing but darkness, a crew of four people walked with flashlights in their hands.

wearing a helmet that glowed brightly in the dark along with torches that didn't require any batteries nor electricity and could work with air, heat, and sun.

"Aren't we there yet?"

A female wearing shorts and a t-shirt that showed her cleavage said to the person next to her.

We had been walking for some hours, but still, I couldn't see the end of this place."

The guy, wearing only pants but no clothes on his upper body, spoke. He frowned deeply as the hallway continued to stretch.

Behind them were another two duos. A girl wearing tight trousers with a midriff on her upper body flashed her bare stomach. With an expression that showed pure exhaustion and irritation, she kicked the ground.

The boy patted her back and comforted her while walking. The squad seemed to like the couple.

"Jina, don't worry, we will get there soon." The boy said in a comforting tone. The girl looked at him and pinched his stomach.

"If not, I would not allow you to sleep with me."

The boy flashed a troubled smile, hearing her words, but kept quiet.

"Kane, let's rest. I am tired. " The girl in front requested

"Ok Lina, are you two ok with that?" Kane looked behind and asked.

"I am fine with that, Leo. You are fine too, right?" Jina asked.

"Yeah," Leo answered.

"There are rocks. Let's sit there," Lina said enthusiastically before dashing there. She sat on the stone first and raised her legs, showing her thick thighs.

Kane looked at her thighs while holding his saliva leaking from his mouth and sat near her.

The duo sat behind the rock.

Jina sat on the rock and stretched her body. Her bosom was so big that her clothes perfectly created an outline of it.

Leo sat near her and leaned against her shoulder. He stretched his hand over her stomach, feeling her bare skin.

"Smooth~" With a happy face, he commented.

Jina rolled her eyes but left Leo to do whatever he wanted.

The duo behind them embraced each other and kissed passionately.

In the blissful atmosphere, the darkness didn't like it as bats rushed at them. The bats flew right by their heads, and like a warning, they squealed at them.

All the people jolted and decided to continue their journey.

After walking for 10 minutes, they encountered a huge door. They pushed it lightly and it opened up like it was waiting for a touch.

"Let's go."

Leading the way, Kane entered inside.

Inside the room, there was nothing but empty space. The walls were painted black, and it looked creepy in the room full of darkness.

Their eyes fell on the center of the room, as a stone coffin was put there. The stone confine had a lid on the top of it which had many engravings.

"What are these words?" Jina asked, looking at the words.

They looked like words or symbols. The style in which it was written was too hard to comprehend, and they all looked like child drawings but in style.

"Let's try to open it." Kane rolled his sleeves.

"Let's not act rashly. Who knows if it has any danger?" Leo advises.

"But it could be full of treasure; we could be rich!" Lina's eyes sparked as she imagined what her life would be like if she became rich.

The world may be in a dreadful situation, but the rich and strong are always revered, while the poor and weak are always loathed.

"Yeah, let's open it, Leo!" Jina said.

"But we should be cautious. What if we encounter any danger from it? "

"Blah! Have you ever heard of someone encountering danger in ruins? Everyone who has found ruins has become rich; they have gained unparalleled weapons! "

"But..."

Leo's warning was left unheard as the girls and boys tried to raise the lid. Leo sighed, and couldn't help but help them to open the lid.

With the combined force of four people, the lid moved and it slid. The stone coffin trembled as the lid opened. The ruins shook, and an invisible force swept the squad further from the coffin.

"W-What happened?" Kane stood staggeringly and looked at the coffin dreadfully.

White smoke rose from the coffin and took the shape of a human. The humanoid figure was translucent and looked here and there.

After looking, he looked up and burst out in laughter.

"Hahaha! Heaven had indeed blessed me! Those fools couldn't kill me, and the seal couldn't hold me! Look, I will rise again! I will conquer heaven and rule this universe! "

The smoke took the form of a middle-aged man who laughed maniacally.

The squad all cowered behind them, as they felt an immeasurable pressure on their heads. As they put their hands on their heads and squeezed them tightly, a wave of headache hit them all.

The smoke looked at the humans. He looked at the girls and licked his lips. The smoke in the air moved towards Kane and entered it.

"Aaaa!"

A scream left his mouth as his body floated like he was possessed by a ghost.

"K-Kane?"

As Kane fell to the ground, Lina moved toward him. But-

"Haha!" Kane burst out in laughter and looked at Lina.

His gaze swept at Leo who was looking at him with fear in his eyes.

Kane raised his hand and swiped it horizontally. A gust of wind blew out in a line and hit Leo's neck. The wind created a perfect cut on his neck and his head fell down onto the ground.

"L-Leo!" Jina's eyes widen. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"Her scream echoed in the ruins.

Kane looked at the two ladies while licking his lips. He stood and moved toward them.

and..

"Nooooooooo!"

The screams of two girls echoed, and the sky trembled.

After a certain amount of time, Kane exited the ruins.

"So, this is my ruin."

He looked at it for a moment before his eyes lifted to the sky. As he saw the sky, his eyes widened. His legs shook, and his body trembled.

"T-Those foolish humans! They shouldn't have opened that coffin, right? "

"I beg of you..."

...Don't release that demon into this world! "
