As the sky darkened, a carriage, drawn by several horses, could be heard across the front lawn of the mansion. It was welcomed by defenses and came to a stop at the spacious terrace, where red-carpeted stairs led up to it. At the top, Zenmei stood with a face that told unease.
Dressed in white robes with a wide collar that revealed her ample cleavage, she descended the stairs, moving towards those who were beginning to disembark from the carriage.
The knight who opened the door then bowed before Zenmei, followed by all except Zhihao and Yienxi, who were instructed by Sanmei to move to her lair to begin their experimentation.
