im kumoko

So, I died only to be reincarnated as a cute waifu-like girl, only to die again and be reincarnated as a spider, sounds fun. What, that I'm kumo? Really? That's a shame but i don't care about that, I'll live this new second (or is it third?) life as I please!.

thanks for reading

After continuing through a single passage, I have found in the Lower Stratum for a while, I finally, finally found it.

An intersection in the road! Wait, is this a road?

Hmm

In front of my eyes is a colossal chamber.

I'm not sure if you'd say the road forks here as much as it extends, or maybe it just disappears.

Seriously, how big is this place? I wonder because even with my eyes, which are supposed to be able to see in total darkness, can't see the end of the tunnel.

All right, what do I do now?

The straight path I had been following so far had no problem, but I'm not at all excited about this huge empty area.

It feels like entering a desert with no path to follow.

Without really knowing which direction to go, it's creepy.

I have a strong suspicion that if I just start walking in one place with no landmark, I might somehow end up turning around and going back to where I started, you know?

Or worse, choosing the wrong path and having that path lead me to the deep layer...

I guess the first scenario is less likely with my spider body and all, but the second is much more likely, so I have no idea which way to go.

As for the landmarks I have, well, they are the rock pillars scattered around the place, and they are not distinctive enough to function as landmarks.

There are snail bugs everywhere, so I won't starve to death in the worst-case scenario, but I could still get lost so easily without realizing it.

Oh well. My best course of action is probably to stick to the basics of dungeon exploration and proceed along wall.

Continue to keep dome to the left, just as you had done before.

This place is seriously huge. It's super wide and also super tall.

The roof, which is supported by rock pillars, appears to be about 100 meters or less in height.

I can barely see him, even if I turn my nonexistent neck.

Thanks to that, instead of being inside a dungeon, this area doesn't feel cramped at all.

If I were to mention something, it would be that even though the place is completely full of rocks and nothing else, there is a certain feeling of the majesty of nature.

I wonder if there are any forests in this dungeon?

It is usually found in anime

It does not have

Really? Too bad.

Well, anyway, I'll continue with my palaver.

Where was I? Ah yes, that this place is very majestic.

In my old life, I would watch some videos on YouTube or on TV about unexplored regions and places you have to visit.

Honestly, that kind of thing never inspired me. In the end, all that beautiful scenery I could only glimpse on my computer screen or my cell phone, or on my TV. It always seemed far away, an unreachable world for me.

Far from giving me inspiration, all I felt was apathy.

I don't even remember why I was seeing those things in the first place.

But now, I am actually standing here. This is the world where I live.

It's not unattainable at all. And I certainly can't feel apathetic about it.

When I was a human, I had never been in a place that motivated me emotionally, other than my room, but the only thing I felt in my room, but my room just made me lazy, so it doesn't count.

I had never experienced anything like this in my life, and I would never have experienced it if it weren't for the fact that I was forced to leave my nest that I call home, or at least I think I was.

On that note, I suppose I could thank the pyromaniac humans who forced me out of my house.

...pfffff

Yes, of course.

As if I'm going to thank those bastards for anything! If I ever lay eyes on them, I'll wrap them up like a bunch of mummies, drag them to the dungeon and then bite them to death with my poison!

He would only leave his eyes uncovered to be able to see how life is leaving his eyes...

Okay, fine, that was excessive, even for me.

I take another look at the majestic dungeon to soothe the wound in my soul.

Bagragratch | Lv14 | Failed state Appraisal.

And suddenly, a big, wild monster enters the scene!

For some reason, his overall appearance suggests that he is lazy, somehow slow, but his mouth certainly ruins that image.

It has a huge snout like that of a crocodile, loaded with rows of sharp teeth.

That mouth, along with its monkey-like body, makes it an unbalanced, positively obnoxious shape.

This does not and will not soothe my soul at all!

Ok. I get it. This is a dungeon, after all. It's not just "nature." It's also a super dangerous place. Got it, me? Okay, got it, me.

Normally I would walk away, but it ruins my moment of peace, so I can't let it go unpunished, you know?

I quickly hide my presence with Stealth and sneak up behind him, he can't seem to detect me, so that's good.

I climb up a column near him and lift myself up to get close to his face.

I quickly jumped up to his face and looked him in the eye.

Very good sir, I hope you don't mind if I apply a little hypnosis.

No? Very kind sir.

Hmm, this is going to be complicated, maybe I should have just quit and left, even though it interrupted my peace...

Well, too late for regrets.

I quickly wrapped my toughest spider thread I can produce around his snout.

Then, I move to the back of his neck and bite!

Hmm, he got out of hypnosis and seems to be trying to escape from my spider thread, but to no avail, great.

He tries to reach for me with his huge hands but I throw super sticky spider thread at them and it seems that was enough to keep his hands away, for now.

When he opened his mouth to let out some kind of squeal or something, I used poison synthesis and shot him all over his little mouth.

Ha! Looks like he choked, he won't be screaming anytime soon.

Hmm, it looks like he wants to smash me into one of the nearby columns, but I with my quick thinking, manage to step aside to his neck under his jaw and bite him again.

He stopped before crashing into the hill, then tries to smash his hands into me, but I move again and bite him

And so, it went on for a while, until finally, this sloth fell to the ground, dead.

Phew, that was a battle I was very lucky in.

Experience has reached the required level. The individual Teratect Small has risen from Lv 2 to Lv 5.

All basic attributes have increased

Skill Proficiency bonus per level up acquired

Proficiency has reached the required level. The Skill [Hypnosis Lv6] has become [Hypnosis Lv9].

Proficiency has reached the required level. The Skill [Poison Synthesis Lv1] has become [Poison Synthesis Lv3].

Proficiency has reached the required level. Skill [Concentration Lv1] has become [Concentration Lv2].

skill points acquired.

Oh great, I went up several levels

I felt my skin shed several times and any wounds I had that I didn't realize I had were quickly healed.

Hmm

Now comes my favorite part, let's eat!

Ñom, Ñom, Ñom.

Delicious.

Now I know without a doubt that this is not the Deep Stratum, that sloth was strong, but not so strong as to compare to Araba and it was inexplicably easy to kill, although it was mainly because I was able to give it a good surprise attack.

Although I could well be wrong, I mean, I don't know what exactly indicates a change in stratum or whatever, but I suspect the path I had taken might well qualify.

But the path had been straight and I didn't feel like I was descending, but still.

What if there was only a gradual slope that you didn't notice?

That's possible, isn't it?

Hmm, although I doubt it.

Just get to an open area.

So, it's probably in the Middle Stratum, right?

That would be a nice thing to do.

I'll stick with that; this is definitely the Middle Stratum.

Well, I finally managed to escape the dangerous Lower Stratum!

Bagragratch | Lv8 | Failed status assessment

Bagragratch | Lv11 | Failed status assessment

Bagragratch | Lv4 | Failed status assessment

Oh, come on, don't tell me they came to get revenge for their fallen brother.

Well, I guess it's time to become the Invisible Woman. Oh rather, the invisible spider.

Anyway, I have to hide my presence. Then I can just slip out of here, easily.

After I got enough distance between us, I realized that I hadn't really evaluated the new spice yet.

Hmm, let's see.

Bagragratch: A deformed monster with a huge jaw. They usually form herds and attack prey in groups.

Uff, now I remember, they were the ones who gave kumoko the battle of his life in this place, which I think is the Lower Stratum still, great.

Now I can only hope to avoid them.

I sneak along the wall silently.

After eating those last 3 monsters and defeating that lazy monkey, my red stamina meter stopped decreasing.

Hmm, it was a lot of food, that's for sure, so the fact that the meter is full makes sense but...

Why doesn't it go down?

Is it gluttony or some other ability? If it is gluttony, why only now is this effect happening now and not before.

This does not make sense.

Proficiency has reached the required level. The skill [Appraisal Lv6] has become [Appraisal Lv7].

Hmm? Oh, what a nice surprise. You've come back to me, Appraisal-chan. I guess the battle against that monkey filled you up enough.

After the last break, I can't help but have high expectations.

You know that, don't you? If you disappoint me again now, I will never forgive you, do you understand?

I can get over the fence now, after all I've raised you, right?

Also, I went up several levels and didn't check my stats, so this is a good opportunity.

Well, now let's see, how will the result of my self-appraisal look like!

Small Taratect - Lv5 - No name

Status:

Hp: 44/44 (green)

Mp: 44/44 (blue)

Sp: 44/44 (yellow)

44/44 (red)

Attack: 27

Skills:

[Poison Resistance to Lv9] [Vision Expansion Lv1 [Poison Fangs Lv8] [Poison Synthesis Lv3] [Poison Magic Lv1] [Spider Thread Lv8] [Gluttony Lv7] [Throwing Lv1] [Hitting Lv1] [Appraisal Lv 7] [Acid Resistance Lv4] [Taboo Lv4] [Heretic Magic Lv2] [Telepathy Lv6] [Hypnosis Lv6] [Self Regeneration of Hp Lv2] [Auto regenerate Sp Lv1] [Auto regenerate Mp Lv1] [Petrification Resistance lv2] [Rot Resistance Lv2] [Paralysis Resistance Lv3] [Pain Nullification] [Pain Mitigation Lv3] [Fear Resistance Lv8] [Fire Magic Lv 5] [Water Magic Lv 4] [Earth Magic Lv 5] [Electric Magic Lv 4] [Ice Magic Lv 4] [Ice Magic Lv 4] [Wind Magic Lv 4] [heal lv5] [Shadow Magic Lv1] [Stealth Lv5] [Solidity Lv2] [Strength Lv2] [Skanda Lv2] [Hades] [Thread Manipulation Lv5] [Flight Lv5] [Detection Lv1] [Concentration Lv2] [n=W]

Huh? Really? Really? My eyes are not deceiving me?

W-whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

My list of skills! Finally, I can see it!

Seriously, Appraisal-chan, you're too good to me! You got over the fence I had you on without a problem!

With this, I will finally know what certain skills do without problems with double Appraisal.

Let's see, first with gluttony, I must verify what you say to know that I have not been wrong all this time.

Gluttony: N% of the power to reach godhood. Allows the user to eat anything and stock it away as pure energy. In addition, the system is surpassed and the right to interfere with the MA field is obtained.

What the hell is Camp MA?

Field MA: Cannot be evaluated.

Oh, come on, really?

Well, at least I know what gluttony does now.

I wonder if I will get fat.

Can I even put on weight?

Well, next, how about this one?

Strength: Adds Offensive or Attacking Capability depending on the skill level

Basically, it's a skill that improves my strength.

Well, just by reading it I know that the more level I get from this, the more attack I will get.

I guess when I level up, it increases 1 naturally and the other 1 is added by this one.

What it means...

Solidity: Adds Defensive Capacity or Defense depending on the level of the skill.

So, the defensive version of strength, hmm?

Honestly, it doesn't do much, but considering my crappy stats, I'll take any advantage I can get.

Ok, let's look at the next one.

Hmm, I don't recognize it, although it is at level 2.

I must have missed it at some point when System-chan mentioned it.

Skanda: Multiplies the Speed Capacity or Speed by the number of skill level. Also, the increase of this statistic will grow x10 for each level raised taking into account the level of the skill.

Hmm? Wait, what?

Oh, I get it, this skill is the reason why my speed is so much higher than all my other statisticians. Ok, got it.

...Whaaaaaaaat?!

What kind of mega broken ability is this?!

I thought my speed was due to my species or something, but is it because of this ability?!

Wow, really?! D, if you're responsible for this, you rock!

This ability is the best thing that could have happened to me so far, and I was born with it!

All hail the reincarnated one!

Let's see then, how about this ability that I had not seen before.

N=W: Cannot be evaluated.

Hmm...

Another thing I can't evaluate, this time a skill.

Some system error or something?

I wish I could evaluate it, but not everything is possible in this life.

Oh well, time to move on.

Taboo: An ability given to those who have committed a taboo. It should never be elevated.

...Verga.

This is something very profound.

Has she been cursed or something?

Shit, this is D's fault, for sure. And he's at level 4!

Really? That ended me too quickly.

Concentration Lv2: the ability to concentrate increases.

I continued to evaluate my skills, saving the magic for last.

Most of them I expected, but there were some that were new to me.

First of all, I finally figured out what Vision Expansion actually does. Does it mean I can see infrared and ultraviolet light and that sort of thing?

Well, I don't think so. Maybe it's because the skill is still at level 1, could it be that those things are almost invisible to me? Or maybe it's because there is no visible light inside a dungeon.

Well, I don't think it's going to cause me any problems.

That of hades makes no sense at all.

The resistors are what I expected, except for one that really surprised me.

And that is the one of putrefaction and it is due to this.

Attribute Putrefaction: Attribute that regulates the decay of death.

What the heck is that supposed to mean?

Does it mean how rotten a body is after death?

What a strange thing to do.

Although that explains why I leveled up when I ate the snail insect, it is almost certain that its body is impregnated with that attribute.

Now yes, the ones I had left at the end-.

Those skills I can't ignore no matter what, even if I can't use them. I mean, if I learn how to use them, I'd basically be a magical girl...

Well, more like a magic spider, anyway. Like "kumoko the Spider Girl" or something.

Okay, Appraisal-chan. Don't fail me now!

Poison Magic Lv1: Magic that manipulates poison. Available spells depend on skill level. Lv1: Poison touch.

Heretic magic Lv2: Magic that assaults directly to the soul. Available spells depend on the level: Lv2: Discomfort, ghostly pain.

Wind magic Lv 4: Magic that manipulates the wind. Available spells depend on skill level. Lv4: Wind blast, aerial blades, mini wind manipulation, big push.

Shadow Magic Lv1: Low range dark magic that manipulates shadows. Available spells depend on skill level. Lv1: Dark shadow.

Hmm? Oh-Jo-Jo? Well, that was vague.

Well, it's still better than before, there's no doubt about that. But I have no idea how to use them.

Heretic magic seems to be a magic that attacks the soul, so you must need something special to use it.

Elementals, shadow and poison are self-explanatory.

There are spells that I can use depending on the level, I have been able to manifest the elementals in a certain way but I did not use the spells well.

So how exactly do I launch them?

Hmm, no ideas.

I don't think it is as an Appraisal, since I could only manifest them by luck.

And Appraisal the magic tells me nothing.

Magic: An established phenomenon that allows magical power to be transformed through the use of skills.

See?

Well, I guess mastering magic is still off limits to me.

Aw. Looks like I still won't be able to call myself Kumoko Magical Girl for a while longer.

Shit.

Well, there's no point in thinking about it.

Let's continue exploring

I lurk motionless in the shadow on the rocks.

Elroe Daznatch - Lv23 - Lv23

Status:

Hp: 786/818 (Green)

Mp: 335/335 (Blue)

Sp: 779/779 (yellow)

723/781 (red)

Failed state Appraisal.

The creature is wandering around slowly, it's a bit far from the rock where I'm hiding.

What is that thing supposed to be? I don't even know how to explain it.

Is it some kind of huge, weird fish with limbs? No, not exactly, but that's the best I can do to describe this bizarre creature.

Well, this mysterious monster is fighting a group of wolves.

Elroe Wolf - Lv 9

Status:

Hp: 84/84 (Green)

Mp: 35/35 (Blue)

Sp: 89/89 (yellow)

60/80 (red)

Failed state Appraisal.

Like this wolf, there are 5 or 6 around him, all rolling between Lv6 to Lv9 and there is another one accompanying them.

Elroe Wolf Alpha - Lv 12

Status:

Hp: 912/1020 (Green)

Mp: 400/420 (Blue)

Sp: 800/920 (yellow)

720/910 (red)

Failed state Appraisal.

It is like the other wolves, but almost twice their size, its fur is red instead of dark blue, it also has 2 fangs protruding from its mouth.

Is it the evolved form of wolves?

Anyway, this group of wolves are fighting against the rare fish and winning almost without any problems, what's more, the alpha wolf has hardly fought at all, only when he received a powerful blow from the fish from another wolf.

By the way, did you notice it too?

Appraisal-chan did it again! Now I can see the stats of my enemies!

I know all I can currently see is his Hp, Mp and Sp, but that's impressive on its own, isn't it?

Oh look, the wolves killed the rare fish and now they're taking it away.

Well, now I know I won't be bothered.

I could tell they were strong, so I'd better not confront them by accident.

They are as bad as those weird monkeys.

I also discovered in the last few days those monsters above level 10 are very strong.

I think it was kind of obvious that if they don't evolve at level 10, it's because they are already a high rank species.

But I'm sure I could beat them with spider thread, it's my best skill so far.

Without it, I would probably be dead by now.

Stats are important and all, but skills are what make the difference. It would certainly be great to see my opponents' arsenals soon.

If I could have that information, it would be a huge advantage in battle, I think.

I mean, without my own skills, the only thing I have that is exceptional is my speed.

If I currently run against an enemy that can counterattack my thread with fire, for example, or one that has cures to negate my poison and/or my hypnosis, I will basically be screwed.

Hmm, wow. Skill based countermeasures could be scary, if I go against someone who is prepared it would probably be the end of me!

But the good thing is that the other monsters don't have that kind of foresight to pull something like that off.

That is exactly why weak monsters like me have been able to survive for so long.

Yep, intelligence is crucial. Mankind's greatest weapon.

Sneak, Sneak.

Right, clear! Left, clear! Forward, clear!

Elroe Kohokoro - Lv 7 - Lv 7

Status:

Hp: 67/89 (Green)

Mp: 21/21 (Blue)

Sp: 79/79 (yellow)

54/85 (red)

Failed state Appraisal.

In front of me is a monster that looks like a large cochineal.

Well, its body is like that of a woodlouse, but its head looks more like that of a rat. Is it an insect or a mammal? Just pick one, will you.

I guess it's more or less an armadillo, but it gives me the creeps, so I'll call it cochineal.

In any case, it seems that you can increase your defense by rolling like a ball.

Once upon a time a monster turtle gave me a hard time about retreating into its shell after all.

But all I have to do is wrap it in my yarn before I get the chance.

And so, I have my fishing net ready.

Take that! Direct hit!

Then simply use Thread Manipulation to give it the old one-two punch.

Condition met. Title acquired [Thread User].

Skills acquired [Thread Manipulation Lv1] [Thread Cutting Lv1] as a result of the title [Thread User].

Proficiency has reached the required level. The Skill [Thread Manipulation Lv5] has become [Thread Manipulation Lv6].

Hmm? Oh? Great, a new title!

Thread user, Huh. Now that's a cool thing to have.

All right, Mr. Piggy, something else interesting just happened, so how about we speed things up from here?

You don't mind, do you? Thank you! I knew you would understand.

Mr. Sowbug, meet Mr. Poison Fangs. Now, why don't you come with me under those rocks over there?

Ok, now let's see what the new title brought with it.

This title is most likely obtained by working with my yarn all the time.

Although, wouldn't you have gotten it a long time ago if that were the case? Hmm, yes, you're right.

Most likely I have another condition. Although I guess there's no point in thinking about that, since I already have the title.

What really matters now is whether I can use it or not. And this time, I am reasonably confident. This title will come in very handy.

Well, since getting it increased my Thread Manipulation level, it has already provided me with some benefits.

Thread Manipulation is becoming more important every day, so raising its level is fantastic. That alone makes the title worthwhile.

But now, my interest is firmly in the other skill.

Cutting thread.

Doesn't that sound like an anime super cabbage gun or something?

I got that thing, didn't I? Where I can cut enemies in half with a super sharp thread.

It would be something like...

"W-what?! An invisible attack?! How is this possible?!"

"Damn, something cut me! Tch... Is this... wire?"

Does that mean I can do that thing now?!

It would be amazing.

But even if it's not like my silly fantasies, it still sounds like a significant power boost to me.

After all, my Poison Fangs are my only REAL means of attack, let's face facts.

My spider thread is already the main item in my arsenal, but now it will literally be a weapon as well.

Okay, it's time for Appraisal.

Cutting Thread: Gives a cutting attribute to the thread.

Okay, this does pretty much what it did in my fantasy. I was worried for a second that it might be something ridiculous.

At least I don't have to worry about it.

Now let's see its effect on my spider thread and I have Mr. Piggy here who is well disposed to help me.

Well, first, I produce some spider yarn.

Then, I make it as tough as possible with zero adhesion.

And to top it off, fanning it toward Mr. Piggy's corpse, I think of [Cutting Thread].

Oh! It looks like he did something.

Of course, the thread bounced off the cochineal body.

It was to be expected, it is level 1 after all.

But I end up leaving a little scratch, that's a good thing, right?

So far, most skills I've tried at level 1 have been virtually useless, so scratching the hard-looking shell of a woodlouse to be pretty good for me.

Hmm, how is the consumption going? Checking my stats, I see that my Mp has not decreased.

And the Sp hasn't dropped at all due to Gluttony's effect either, so I have no way of telling if it affects my reserve or not. Still, based on my experience with Poison Synthesis and such, it's not free, probably. So even if my red stamina bar doesn't go down at all, I'm guessing it will decrease a bit in a way I can't tell.

I don't know how much it consumes, but its cost effectiveness does not seem to be too poor.

Also, I'll probably keep my stamina meter overloaded with Gluttony whenever I can.

Next, I make a sticky thread and attack the cochineal carcass again.

Hmm, it seems to have activated correctly, but it didn't leave a scratch this time.

Well, that's what I expected.

Experimenting with my spider thread some more, I discovered that there are limits to how I can edit it.

For example, maximizing its adhesion makes it difficult to maintain its elasticity. It is not impossible, but the effect is certainly reduced.

Even so, I find the Cutting Thread a useful skill. It is very compatible with my usual strategies.

I will have to raise their level as soon as possible.

So, Mr. Piggy.

I am glad you are a volunteer for this experiment.

The other time I was careless and ate the rare monkey outdoors, luckily no one saw me, I will try to be more careful more often.

I produced more cutting thread and hit the mealybug again and again.

After hitting the corpse to the limit, I managed to raise the level of Thread Cutting to 3.

Seriously, I'd like to turn it up a bit more, but for what's left of the cochineal, it's already reached a state where it wouldn't be suitable for TV, uncensored, so there's not much I can do.

Even at level 3, there's not much damage, but you know what they say about a thousand-mile trip or whatever.

Oh, Mr. Piggy, I don't think I'll ever forget you.

Maybe.

I ate it of course, it was delicious.

In retrospect, I probably didn't need to use it as a target at all, did I?

He could have hit some rocks instead.

Oh no! Does that mean the mealybug suffered for nothing?

No, no. He was able to provide me with something useful in death, so I'm sure he's shedding tears of gratitude in his afterlife.

Hmm? What do you mean I'm brutal? I don't know what you're talking about.

Suddenly, I feel another presence behind me, making me unconsciously activate stealth and turn around.

Elroe Wolf - Lv 8

Status:

Hp: 82/82 (Green)

Mp: 33/33 (Blue)

Sp: 87/87 (yellow)

70/79 (red)

Failed state Appraisal.

He is one of the wolves from before, it seems he got separated from the pack.

He is not strong but I really don't want to kill him, I would like to avoid him so I don't have problems with his relatives.

But there's a problem with that.

He is sniffing the air and it seems he saw me, as I feel his eyes on me.

The wolf charged toward me, and pretty fast too.

Panicking, I throw a bit of yarn at it. But the wolf nimbly avoids it by moving aside.

Really?

I keep throwing more net at him, but he avoids it as nimbly as before.

He quickly jumps straight at me.

I loosen the string attached to my butt and avoid the wolf's attack.

I managed to avoid his jaws just in time.

Not giving a second thought to its first failed attack, the wolf lunges at me again.

Shit.

I get a little desperate as I try to avoid it as best I can.

Proficiency has reached the required level. Skill acquired [Evasion Lv1].

This half-baked strategy gave me something valuable, a new skill.

At the same time, the wolf seems tired of failing and tries to bite me faster but very carelessly.

Well, this is my chance!

I take a side step to the wolf's bite and stick some yarn in its muzzle.

Moo-ha-ha-ha! It's over for you, little wolf! How do you feel soliciting!

Hmm?

Just at that moment, my body flew into the air.

Gah?!

The wolf violently moved its muzzle, taking with it me who was still attached to the thread.

Shit!

I quickly released the thread from my body. As I expected, the thread coiled around his snout, successfully closing it.

Uff, I don't want to know what would have happened if I hadn't avoided it.

Better yet, the wolf can't get the string out of his muzzle and gave himself a good thump on the ground trying to get it off.

I quickly change my position in the air and land perfectly.

Ten points!

Fortunately, I wasn't actually very high in the air, so I took a little damage when I fell.

I quickly wrapped the wolf's body in thread, successfully immobilizing it.

Victory is mine! Even if half of it was his fault.

I approached him and dug my fangs into his body, effectively hitting him with my venomous fangs.

The wolf gave me a fierce look and let out a somewhat muffled howl, but didn't offer much resistance. It soon released its last breath.

Proficiency has reached the required level. The skill [Hit Lv1] has become [Hit Lv2].

Proficiency has reached the required level. Ability [Throw Lv1] has become [Throw Lv2].

Oh great, they leveled up 2 of my skills.

Both are good too, so I'm happy.

One thing worries me, though.

Wolves are known to howl for their comrades when in danger, and although his howl was somewhat muffled, so I don't know how loud it was for the other wolves.

So, I better hurry up and eat it first.

Hmm, wolf meat is exquisite.

It's been a while since I've had a direct fight for a while, this wolf managed to detect me even when I had stealth, so that's something I have to keep in mind.

The monsters of the Lower Stratum are really powerful. This wolf here luckily is from the upper stratum, although I can see why despite being weak it can hang around here without any problems.

Okay, finish eating the wolf, time to move.
