Chapter 69

"You left NYC." 

"Ah. It brought us memories we didn't want to remember," she said. 

"About that. There is something you need to know. You should have your seat for this." 

She obeyed and sat down. 

"What is it dear?" she asked. 

"Come inside," I said. As Chase entered the house. His mother was shocked to see who it was. She didn't expect someone that looked like her son to suddenly show up. 

She gasped as she stood up. "What type of prank is this?" she asked. 

"It is not a prank. It is your son." 

"How is that possible? I watched him being buried. We all watched him be buried." she said. 

"Are you sure you looked at what was inside the coffin before he got buried?" I asked. She stopped talking as she glanced at Chase. Too scared to walk toward him and touch him. I could feel how she felt. How did her dead son suddenly come to life? She felt scared. As if it was a dream. As if, if she touched him, he would vanish.
