Chapter 55

The clock hit 6:30 before my eyes. I couldn't sleep last night. I kept on thinking about how the fight would be and if Theo would change his mind about making me join the battle.

"Good morning." Ava yearned and stretched out on the bed.

"Good morning," I replied.

She sat up and glanced at me. "Did you sleep? You don't look like you slept. Ughh." she groaned as she glanced out the window. "It is still dark outside." she looked at me again. "Were you thinking about the fight? You shouldn't think about that. You have us with you and Beauty has agreed to fight alongside you." I watched her place her feet on the floor and stood up. She was getting ready to prepare for school.

I wasn't in the mood for school and I couldn't go to the community for some reason.

When we were done preparing for school, Ava told her dad she doesn't have an appetite to eat breakfast when he called her to the dining table.
