I stood steel and my legs just wouldn't move. I was burning inside, trying not to transform. I didn't want Chase to see me as a monster. I was trying to avoid it.

"Inez." He called. "I can't move," he said. "Don't c...come any closer." He stuttered. "There is something at-at-my back."

I started to get angry.

"Run for... for help." He said as the vampire fangs started to come out. "Don't worry... Inez— Denise isn't here."

All that he was saying wasn't what I was worried about... I just wanted to save his life. I had to.

"Leave him alone!" I yelled In a demonic tone; Deep and harsh. I had no choice now or Chase died.

There it was.

I transformed. My fangs started to come out as my claws followed. I've never been this angry in my life.

"What the hell?" Chase said as he focused on me. The expression on his face became priceless.
