"Why would you even do such things for me?" Molly gently hit his chest.
Jacob held her hand to his lips and kissed her knuckles. "It's because I love you."
"You love me to the point where you'd even risk your life?"
Jacob nodded. "I don't care about anything else. I just want you."
"I need to organize my feelings." Molly clung tightly to him. "G-Give me some time."
"Does this mean a yes?"
"Not yet! I still haven't decided!"
Jacob carried her by the waist and kissed her cheek, leaving it cold and wet. "Molly said she'd give me a chance!" He rejoiced.
Molly covered his mouth. "Everyone down there can here you, silly."
"We're on the rooftop. There's no one else interested in our relationship."
"Y-You... I'm sorry for trying t-to hurt you. I just wanted to ignore the fact that I started feeling different towards you. I hope you can—"
"I'll wait for you, everyday. I promise that I'll keep coming back no matter how hard you try to push me away."
"Peter told me that you used to date a lot of women be-before... Is that true?"
"I've been compelled to go on blind dates because of my mother. I don't exactly date them." Jacob smirked. "Why? You wanna know more about me?"
Molly looked away. "Have you ever loved anyone of them?"
"Hmmm... probably?"
"Who-Who is it?"
As she brought her face closer to his cheek to see his reaction, Jacob briskly turned his head, capturing her lips with his.
Molly touched her lips and flushed. "You should've done that. I could've just pushed you away."
"Well you didn't because you were pleased by it." Jacob tucked her hair behind her ear. "You're beautiful."
"You're flattering me."
"I always do."
(In front of the boy's dorm)
"Are you free tonight? Let's have dinner together." Ella kissed Nicholas' cheek.
Nicholas held her hand. "I've promised the boys already. You have anything to tell me?"
"I was gonna ask you something." Ella looked at him. "Have you done anything with Adeline?"
"You think I'm cheating on you?" Nicholas laughed as he pointed to himself. "I don't think I've done anything wrong."
"Think about it."
"I've really done—"
"Stop denying it!" Ella's eyes started turning red as tears started falling from her cheeks. "That day when I told you that I had to finish my design, I knew that you were with her."
"There's nothing wrong with that."
Ella brought out her phone and showed him a picture of him flirting with Adeline. "What's this then?"
Nicholas squinted. "Where did you get that? I didn't do anything to her."
"You liar! Your faces were only a few inches apart!"
"I was joking around with her. Don't take it seriously."
"You call this joking?" Ella laughed as she clenched her fist. "You're clearly the one clinging onto her."
"If you're upset about it, I apologize." Nichols pulled her into a hug. "I'm sorry if I didn't think about your feelings."
"Do you even know that what you're doing can make her catch feelings for you? I'm trying to trust you, Nic."
"You believe me right? I'd never do such a thing to hurt you. You know that Adeline and I grew up together. I sometimes forget that what I'm doing can make you angry."
"I'm afraid," said Ella, caressing his cheeks, "For someone to realize how sweet you are, for someone else to take my place, and for someone else to have your heart. I can't afford to lose you."
"I'll take you to see my parents after graduation."
"Isn't Adeline coming is? She lives in the same neighborhood as you."
"Don't worry." Nicholas smiled. "She won't get in our way."
