"That's great! Show your shoulder, make it hotter!" the photographer shouted while taking pictures of Kan.

They are in a photoshoot now. All the female staff were drooling while watching him.

They are now shooting for a liquor product.

Miao gulped when she saw his abs, my goodness!

"Okay change your clothes now!" said the director.

Kan approached them. He immediately reached for the water.

While drinking water, Miao stared at him, why he's hot even drinking?

Kan noticed that she was staring at him so he smirked. "Enjoying the view?"

The demonic smile on his lips drew again.

She quickly blinked. "What view, side view? Fair view? Review?"

She heard him chuckled.

"Kan here are your clothes go change it now." said the manager.

Kan nodded then entered the dressing room.

"Kan is so handsome right? Whatever he wore suits him. He is like the protagonist from a fantasy book that came out and lived in the real world." praised by Manager Song.

"He is handsome but he is very arrogant, does he really have that attitude?" said Miao.

"Oh dear, you can get used to him too. Even though we fought several times, but you see, I have been his manager for a many years."

"How can you handle his bad attitude?"

Xander smiled then pinched her nose.

They entered the private club house owned by his mom. His mom told him that they will have a little party because his mom has a special guest.

"Mom we're here." Xander said.

"Finally you're here, I've been waiting for you." his mom greeted him happily.

But her smile faded when she saw Rael.

"Ah mom, I invited her. It's a family lunch and she's part of our family right?" said Xander.

"Hello auntie." Rael bowed to her.

His mom raised an eyebrow. "I didn't expect you to take her, anyway she is here already, it would be embarrassing if we send her home. Come Rael have a seat."

Rael smiled awkwardly, they sat down.

"Mom I thought we have special guest but where is he or she?" Xander asked as he looked around. "She's already here she just went to the lady's room." his mom replied.

"She?" said Xander.

He has no idea who the visitor really is. Rael remained silent, because his mom looked down again on her.

"Auntie I'm sorry if I took so long."

They turned around to see the girl walking towards them, Rael was amazed to see her, she's so pretty and elegant.

She obviously came from a very wealthy family.

"Joy?" Xander asked surprised.

"Hi Xander, did you miss me?" she sat down next to them.

"I didn't know you finally returned." Xander said.

"Joy wants to surprise you, so she requested me to have lunch together because she missed us so much." said Xander's mom.

Joy Min is the grand daughter of the chairman of M.J. Group. The biggest and famous company in Taiwan. And Xander's mom and her grandfather have also been friends for a long time, in fact they are planning to start a new business here in the Philippines with a partnership of the two families.

"Ah love, it looks like you have something important to discuss about, it's better for me to leave." said Rael.

"No love you will stay here." said Xander.

"Let her stay, it's better for her to know the truth." said her mom.

"What truth?" Xander asked.

Her mom smiled sweetly. "We're having lunch together to talk about your engagement with Joy."

Rael and Xander were both surprised.

"E-Engagement? What are you talking about mom? Rael is my girlfriend why I will engage with Joy? We're not lovers."

Rael immediately lowered her head, she feels like her heart was stabbed multiple times.

Xander's mom said it in front of her.

"This engagement is for our family's sake. Min Family and Walker Family will build a new business, and to make the foundation stronger it must start with you two because someday you two will manage that business."

"Even I was surprised when Yeye told me about the engagement but for the sake of our family and business I agreed to the proposal." said Joy.

"But we don't love each other, I only love Rael!" Xander insisted.

"So you will choose your love over your own mother?!" his mom raised her voice.

"I-I will leave you now, it's a family matter and I do not want to interfere." Rael stood up.

"Love don't leave." Xander tried to stop her.

Rael forced a smile and then went straight out.

Xander sighed. "Look what you've done mom."

"Why? It's better for her to know it while it's still early." said his mom.

"But mom no engagement will take place between me and Joy."

"Watch your mouth Xan aren't you ashamed of Joy here? She even came to the country just to see you. It's embarrassing to face their family if we break the agreement."

Joy smiled at Xander, as if nothing is happening.

How come she agreed to the engagement? Doesn't she have a boyfriend?

"Joy you know I have no feelings for you why don't you refuse?" he asked.

"Xander!" his mom yelled.

As soon as Kan returned to his room, he found Miao asleep, she's been waiting for him for hours. It took them hours in filming because he has a lot of products to endorse today. He approached the sleeping Miao, he sat down and stared at her.

Manager Song halted, Kan motioned him to go out first and he quickly followed him.

Kan looked at Miao again, he smiled. She's pretty…

Based on Miao's appearance, she doesn't looks like the type of person who desperately need money, she looks rich because of her complexion.

"Hmm…" Miao moved.

Kan smiled again then stood up and took off his jacket, he wrapped it around her. He took his phone out and then took a picture of her, he thought of something silly again.

Suddenly, his phone beeped. Xing Ran's nanny message him. He walked away a little then called her. "Baomu where is Ran? Let me talk to her."

(Hi dada!)

"Baby what's the problem? Why Baomu said you didn't eat your dinner?"

(Coz I miss you dada huhu can you go home now? I miss you dada!)

"Don't worry baby I'll go home this Saturday don't be sad okay? dada and baby will be together soon." (Really? Imma wait for you dada I love you!)

"I love you too baby, go eat your dinner now"

After they talked, he hid his phone in his pocket and looked at Miao again.

Miao slowly opened her eyes. She was surprised to see Kan packing up his belongings.

"H-How long have you been here? Is the shoot over?" she immediately stood up.

Kan took off his face mask.

"Yeah and because you are sleeping I was forced to pack my things. Tsk." irritated Kan replied.

She noticed he was wearing gloves. How sensitive, he put away his mask and gloves.

"I'm sorry." she took his bags. "Are we leaving?"

Kan nodded then came out first.

They arrived at the parking lot then she put his belongings inside the van. Then they got on board and left.

"By the way Miao, Kan didn't have a shoot on Saturday so you can have a rest, just go back on Sunday." said manager Song.

"Okay thank you." she said.

"It's already late why don't you have dinner in the condo first and then we go home together?" manager Song added.

"Oh, okay hehe." she glanced at Kan. Is he asleep?

Maybe he's too tired from filming.

"Can you explain this to me?" Sao's manager laid the pictures on the table.

Saoirse looked at it one by one.

Sao sighed. "Who sent these photos to you?"

"Yeah im dating him, we've been in a relationship for more than 2 years. Happy now?"

"Wow manager Song these foods looks delicious!" Miao excitedly taste the dishes.

"Haha it's really delicious coz I studied culinary before I became Kan's manager." he said proudly. "Mmm it's really delicious!" she thumbs up. She looked around. "Where is Kan?"

"Ah, maybe he's in the kitchen, you know he's very sensitive. He only eats few of my dishes. He usually prepare his own foods." he said.

"Eh? Too sensitive." she said.

"Pft. Because he's a Germaphobic, he is prone to allergies so he needs to be careful." he explained.

Miao scratched her head.

"Oh, I forgot the hot sauce in the kitchen." said Manager Song.

"I'll get it" she stood up and went to the kitchen.

"Yes baby I'll be there. Okay, okay, I'll visit you tomorrow. Go sleep now it's bad for your health if you stay awake late at night. I miss you too."

Miao covered her mouth while listening to Kan, he's talking on his phone when she reached the kitchen.

Baby? Is she his girlfriend? This arrogant guy has a girlfriend???

She stood straight when Kan saw her. He hid his phone.

"How long have you been standing there?" he asked while raising an eyebrow.

"I-I just arrived, I'll take the hot sauce." she quickly grabbed the hot sauce on the table.

She was about to leave the kitchen when Kan suddenly grabbed her arm.

She was surprised at what he did.

"Did you hear anything?" he asked.

Which one? The one he calls baby?

She shook her head. "No, I don't like gossips." she quickly ran away.

Kan followed her.

While eating, Kan glanced at her.

My goodness, is it a big deal for this man if she finds out he has a girlfriend?

"Thank you so much for the food!" Miao bowed to them.

They are now standing at the door.

"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you home? It's dangerous for you to go home alone at this hour." Manager Song said.

"It's okay, someone will pick me up." Miao glanced at Kan.

He's just sitting on the couch and watching tv.

"Hmm, okay."

"All right, I'll go first bye bye!"

Miao came out of the condo, she saw their driver waiting outside and she quickly got in the car.

"I'm going home too Kan." said Manager Song.

"Please cancel my schedule tomorrow." said Kan.

"Ehh?"

Kan looked at him. "Ran want to see me, I don't want to upset her."

"I see. I will explain it to the director." Manager Song said then left.

Only him and his manager knew his secret. Kan has a daughter, even he was surprised.

Two years ago, he just woke up early in the morning when someone keeps pressing the doorbell of his unit. He was surprised to see a two-year old child alone and standing in front of the door of his unit.

And the most surprising thing was that he read the letter she was holding.

She is his daughter?

At first he don't want to believe it but when the DNA result came out it's confirmed, she is his child. He tried to find out who her mother was, he looked for all of his ex-girlfriends but they all denied that they had a child with him.

And so as not to affect his career, he's hiding Ran. She's living with his younger sister.

Kan looked at their photo. Ran is his precious girl. He gives her everything she wants. Despite being busy he always finds ways to be with her.

It's midnight but Kaia is still at the bar partying with her friends. She is now in the middle of the dance floor and dancing. A group of men in black entered the bar, they looked around. The leader smiled when he saw Kaia. People immediately made a way as they passed by.

Kaia stopped dancing when she saw them.

Oh God! What are they doing here???

They bowed to her.

"Young lady it's time to go home, Master Xiao asked us to bring you home safe." said the butler.

Yeah, they're Kaia's butlers/bodyguards.

"No way, can't you see? Im still enjoying the party!" she scowled.

"But young lady ---" her butler could not continue what he was about to say when Kaia suddenly ran fast.

As usual she's running away again.

"Young lady come back!!!" they chased her.

People watched them.

She quickly got out of the bar and ran towards an alley.

"Young lady please don't make it hard for us!!!" the butler shouted again.

They just keep chasing her.

She was about to successfully escape from them when she suddenly bumped into something hard. When she looked up, she saw a man.

What a handsome man!

He's looking at her seriously.

"Y-Young lady…" her bodyguards were panting when they reached her. But they were also quickly alerted when they saw the man in front of them.

"Young lady stay away from him he's dangerous!" said the butler.

Kaia looked at the man in front of her again.

Dangerous? Does her bodyguards know him?

"Wehh?" Kaia grinned.

She quickly hid behind the man. "I wont believe you guys it's just your way to get me!"

They are all sweating when they saw Kaia touched the man.

"Y-Young lady please listen to us!" her butler was nervous.

Kaia frowned again. Who is this man and why they are very scared of him?

"Please forgive our young lady she doesn't know you." pleaded by her butler.

"Yah! You're acting like dogs. Why are you acting so strange?" said Kaia.

"Bring her home." the man quickly pushed Kaia to her bodyguards.

How rude!

"Hey! Why did you pushed me?" she shouted.

"Young lady let's go home." her butler held her.

"No! I want to give him a lesson before I leave!" Kaia shouted again.

"Young lady he's dangerous."

The man looked at her with his scary eyes.

Kaia gulped.

"Bring her home or I will kill you all." said the man.

They retreated. The butler quickly carried Kaia.

Kaia keep cursing as they carried her to the car.

Who is that man?!!!!

The next morning.

"Dada!" Xing Ran is so happy to see her daddy.

She immediately hugged him tightly.

Xing Ran is already four years old.

"Did you miss your dada?" Kan asked as he carried her.

"Ran always miss dada, Ran is happy that dada is here!" she replied while smiling.

Kan messed her hair up. "Dada miss you too."

"Thank God you're already here, that kid has been giving me headache for a few days." Nyx complained while wearing her shoes.

Nyx is Kan's younger sister. They no longer have parents, they died five years ago in a plane crashed. "Where are you going?" Kan asked.

"For a few days, I got bored and squirmed here at home and watched over your daughter. And now that you're here it's time for me to go shopping, by the way I will go home late I have a date." Nyx left with a smile. Kan only shooked his head. They have the same attitude. But if Nyx is a bitch, then he is an evil. He's worse than her.

"Have you eaten already? Dada brought your favorite food."

"Really? Ran is hungry now dada let's eat together!"

They happily headed to the kitchen.

"Argh my head hurts" Kaia complained while walking down the stairs.

"Looks like you drank a lot last night." Miao commented while reading the magazine.

"Not too much." Kaia sat down next to her. "You don't have work today?"

"Manager Song called me and said they canceled Kan's photoshoots." she replied.

Kaia massaged her head.

"Lady Kaia, master wants you to be in his study room right now." said her bodyguard.

Who is this bodyguard? Newbie?

She hasn't seen her butler today.

"All right, I'll be there." she stood up and left Miao.

When she arrived at the old man's study room, she still can't see her butler as well as those bodyguards who were with her last night.

"Good morning yeye!" she greeted.

The old man looked at her. "I heard what happened last night."

"Hehe yeye let me explain."

"No need for your explanations I already fired your butler and bodyguards."

"WHAT?"

That's they are not around?

"But why yeye?"

"They can't do their job well, what if you get hurt last night? I don't need useless bodyguards!"

She lowered her head. Im sorry butler Jung and to others huhu!

"I hired a new butler for you and this time I made sure you could not escape from him." the old man looked at the door. "Come in!"

The door opened and a handsome man entered. Kaia was amazed to see him, he is the man from last night!

"Y-You!"

"He is Nico. He is the scariest and strongest gang leader in our District." introduced by his grandfather.

"G-Gang leader? Yeye you want a gang leader to take care of me?"

"He deserves to be your butler coz he's strong and can protect you! You also can't escape from him."

"But yeye he's scary!"

His grandfather ignored her, he looked at Nico instead. "Take care of her."

Nico nodded.
