With this ominous line floating in front of my eyes, I could not help but accept the reality.

I was transmigrated into the manga I had just read, Mairimashita Iruma-Kun.

A fantasy manga where the human [Iruma] is sold to the demon [Sullivan] and gets roped into the mystical demon world, having fun, defeating conspiracy, and inevitably walking the road of the Demon King.

I don't remember dying.

But glancing at my reflection in the mirror says otherwise.

I don't mean that I looked like some zombie, no no no, it's just that my gender has changed.

The reflection in the mirror showed a beautiful girl, though not much in the boobs department I could still confidently say that the one in the mirror was a girl. I even went and tried cupping my hand over the crotch and giving an experimental squeeze, but I withdrew my hand before the groping became more...intimate.

A normal person would have had an existential crisis over the sudden situation but well I wasn't exactly bothered.

I was a guy, but now I am a girl. I'm not gonna freak about this wonderf*ck right now nor am I gonna commit the unthinkable hoping to change this.

I am who I am, it didn't matter what I was back then, nor what I am now, I am still me.

I believed I was not stupid or dumb. Not like anyone does I hope. But looking at the floating line in front of me I could not help but dread.

I had figured I was in another place since this place looked nothing like my house or even my home planet. The sky above was green with two huge orbs that may or may not be the sun.

But even then I didn't think, I had somehow transmigrated into a manga.

A sudden rush of the information accompanying this line proved I was not hallucinating. At least I hope not...

It was the memory of this body. The memory of one...Nyx Grace.

A 13-year-old demon who has gone out of the boonies to become an idol or as they say here Evidol. Yeah, Original I know...

"Sigh..." I sighed aloud, as I grasped the situation in hand and summarized by current goal.

To become Rank 10.

In the Netherworld, there are a total of 10 ranks. That means to become rank 10, I have to become one of the strongest demons in the netherworld. Currently, there are three Rank 10, and all of them are oldies to say the least.

So, I have got my work cut out for me.

One might say that I have adapted too quickly, but everything came a bit too naturally to me. Then again, it's not like I have any choice with the black thread of death strangling my neck.

Of course, I don't see any time limit, so I can properly plan things. At least that's the plan for now.

Moreover, looking at the bright side at least, I was not a headless chicken in this unknown world, or the Netherworld as they like to call it here without any aim or target. Probably the only plus side of that floating line that had already vanished into nothingness. Weird...

So, I focused on my newly acquired memories and found out that this body had signed up for the auditions to be an idol. And it seems to be today...Today.

Wait!

"F*ck" I hurriedly took the hoodie lying on the chair and quickly rushed out of my hotel room.

On the way, I came across several demons. Some pay attention to me some don't but I don't have any time for them no matter how weird they look.

Recalling the memories, 'Nyx' was an arbitrary girl who goes headfirst into things without any foresight, for a lack of better words, a dunce.

She spent the last of the money on registering for the audition and now I am penniless.

Though I was snickering at the fate of being poor, I followed the route on my memory and soon reached my destination.

It was written in big golden letters so it was not hard to find it. And from the outside, it looked quite grandiose.

I walked past the security guard who just nodded at me with a grim look. He looked buff and easily 14 feet tall. Fortunately, he didn't pay much attention to me. I certainly did not want to oppose someone who looked as menacing as that. Common sense and all...

I entered the agency and walking past the various people moving equipment reached the receptionist.

The receptionist looked a bit haggard though she was smiling. She had blonde hair and two small horns on top of her head.

I ignored it and called out to the receptionist.

"Excuse me, I am here for the audition. My name is Nyx Grace." I spoke in a smooth voice. Smooth, I never thought my voice could be called one day.

The receptionist looked at me and then quickly called up a register and said with a smile.

"Oh, yes. Please go to floor six and then go to your first room to the left. The others are already waiting there." I nodded and walked towards the elevator.

The elevator was clean and there were mirrors on the wall. The reflection of a black-haired girl with jet-black eyes gazed at me. Beautiful. Maybe I had shot at this Evidol gig with this face.

*Ping*

The elevator door opened as I walked to the room on my left. The sound of girls speaking was already coming from inside.

I braced myself and entered the room as several pairs of eyes stared at me before ignoring me...uncomfortable.
