"Rina, How does it look on the Westside?" 

"Clear"

We decided to go with another sneaky approach to get inside of Obril. There is an underground passageway to Obril, so we took advantage of it. It's not like they're not guarded though.

As we moved through the tunnels we noticed there was an engraved trail that seemed to be leading to the exit. At first, we relied on our senses to find our way into the village through the tunnels, but the further we got the more we started to follow the trail.

"Rina, are you sure we should be following this trail?"

"Eira. You worry too much. We are lucky enough that someone left behind a trail for us to follow. It will be much easier for us to get into Obril now."

"No, Eira is right. It is very suspicious that an engraved trail underground is left behind in a top-secret underground passageway."

"U guys are worryworts luckily we're reaching the end of the tunnel shortly, so I don't have to listen to you guys complain anymore."

"I don't understand how Rina is so calm with the near-death experience we just encountered last mission. Hopefully, nothing crazy happens down here."

As my thoughts raced against the uncertainty of these trails I heard a huge explosion on the ground above followed by cries of what sounded like young children.

"Vasati, did you hear that?" My blood went cold as I turned to Vasati and she meekly nodded.

"Rina... let's go!"

I put on my fox mask and both Rina and Vasati followed. I then focused my Ice mana on the tunnel's ceiling.

"Ice Magic: Eternal Freeze"

Coating the tunnel ceiling with my strongest Ice magic caused it to freeze entirely.

"Vasati, Rina stand back." I ordered as I prepared for the break.

As they took a step back I balled my fist and released the dense amount of Ice Magic.

"Break!" 

A lot of rubble rained down from the ceiling, but using barrier magic around Vasati, Rina and I saved us from getting hit by anything.

"That Ice magic of yours Eira..." Rina started while looking grimly at the destruction my magic caused.

"Is terrifying yeah I know. This is the main reason I wanted to keep this magic a secret, because no matter how much someone can try not to fear something they can't fight their instincts. My magic isn't pretty at all it's...Vile"

"Beautiful," Vasati interrupted my thoughts and Rina's sentence with her description.

"You stole the words out of my mouth Vasati!" Rina argued and pouted.

"Well, you took too long to say it Rina, and the only compliments Eira should get are from me!" Vasati stuck her tongue out and began to walk towards the pile of rubble.

"I seriously can't deal with you guys" I chuckled and followed Vasati towards the pile of rubble.

Soaring above the skies of Obril Haruka and Claire were hidden by Haruka's Concealment magic. A type of magic that can hide all magic power and conceal anything from the line of sight. They circled the kingdom waiting for any sight of Phantom Gloom or the Paladin.

"I hope they don't plan on marching straight into the city. I'm sure that's exactly what the Obril military is planning for."

"Haruka, I detected a huge magical signal coming from the underground tunnels." Claire's telepathic warning brought me out of my thoughts as we soared above the City of Obril.

Claire is a special Dragon. One of the 5 unique dragons that exist in this world. I have zero idea how she was even able to be captured by the military of Warminster. She is the Legendary Dragon of the mind and has extraordinary Telepathic powers. When I released her from her magic sealing chains I didn't expect her to want to accompany me of all people.

"I mean I'm the Reason her kind is being enslaved right? She shouldn't want to be around someone like me, but Claire was so beautiful when she insisted I couldn't bring myself to say no. Now she is traveling with me on one of the most dangerous missions that she could ever be on. I will make sure that we leave this town with Claire unharmed!"

"Claire, can you detect the element?"

"It's very powerful Ice Magic, Haruka, I'm sure you can guess whose magic that belongs to..." Claire responded beginning to descend towards the origin of the magical signal.

"Claire fly towards that inn on the right" I pointed to an inn about 20 minutes walking distance from where the magical signal came from.

"Haruka? You want me to fly away from where the magical signal came from?" Claire asked me perplexed

"We're gonna play it safe. I don't know where the Palidan is and I'm sure Phantom Gloom isn't gonna be friendly with me knowing I'm the Hero." I responded firmly.

"If that is what you wish, Haruka." Claire started to fly in the direction of the inn.

"Before I get there, Phantom Gloom don't try to do something stupid"

The sounds of children crying paused for a moment as we leaped through the ceiling of the tunnel and what looked like a dungeon. All over the wall, there were stains of blood and heads hanging from chains. I saw Vasati and Rina's faces turn pale as they looked around the room.

"Is this... the humans torture chamber?" Rina's voice barely rose over a whisper as I saw fear cloud her bright golden eyes.

"Rina, stop thinking about it. The sooner we handle this scum the quicker we leave this disgusting place." I ordered firmly and turned in the direction of a door that I smelt fresh blood coming from.

"Eira's right, Vasati. Scratch the original plan. We are going to destroy this entire city. Vasati, use your dream capture to save the image of this place we discovered." Vasati ordered her.

Dream Capture is a special magic that only Rina can use. It's similar to that of a phone picture, Rina can capture scenes that she saw happen and replay them to anyone in dreams. It's a very valuable magic that we can use to prove that things that we said did happen.

"Understood." I felt Rina's mana encapsulate the air around us and I started to feel a bit drowsy, but I began to channel some ice magic around me from falling to it.

"Done." Rina blankly stated with a small gloomy look in her eyes.

"SOMEONE HELP US!"

The sound of children screaming once again came from the direction of the door I smelt fresh blood coming from.

"Vasati, Rina... let's go." I dashed in the direction of the door with Vasati and Rina right beside me.

As we reached the door I smelt the blood of at least 20 inhummans and there were about 13 humans in the room, One of whom was letting off a strong magical signal.

"Ice Magic: Blade of Kuraokami" 

The door was created using a magic sealing coating, but my magic is far too strong for that meager barrier.

"I will cut straight through it. Vasati, Rina the moment I cut through this door be ready to fight to the death."

"I wouldn't have it any other way, Eira!" Vasati smirked releasing her powerful Dark mana.

"I will follow you two to the end of the world!" Rina yelled releasing her Dream Magic.

"Open Sesame!" I shouted as my blade collided with the door. 

In one motion my blade effortlessly cut through the anti-magic coated door. As prepared as I thought I was, my imagination couldn't prepare me for what was on the other side of that door.
