While Yug was looking at the villagers, Simon noticed that Rune was missing, he wriggled around in his father's arms, and Yug looked at him," Simon stay still," he said in a firm voice.

"But father, Mister is nowhere to be found." This made Yug and Damian also look around, Yug spoke, "he must be here somewhere."

"But he has been missing since the beginning, "Simon spoke again and this time Damian looked at Yug and slightly nodded before he went to look for Rune.

"Damian has gone to look for him," he said to Simon, "So be patient."

Simon nodded, he knew very well after what happened in the temple and before when he had seen Rune, nearly getting crushed by a carriage Yug is not going to let him down in a crowd there was no fucking way.

A few minutes later Damian came running back and he didn't look good, Yug turned to him clearly seeing the panic on his face, "Duke...General is not well."

No sooner than he had said this Yug ran behind him and they came to the place where Rune was...sitting on the ground.

Yug sat down in front of him and he put Simon down as well who was panicking, Yug stepped his face lightly, "General...General...Rune!" Yug called out to him many times but in the end, he just groaned in response.

Yug didn't want time any longer he just picked him up and ran toward his room, while Damian picked up Simon and came after him.

Yug laid Rune on the bed before, "Close the door Damian. And take Simon with you"

"NO!" Simon said and ran to the other side of the room, "I am not going anywhere, Father please."

Yug glared at him but Simon glared back, "Simon you are a child, you can't see too much blood now listen to me and go with Damian, or else you will be punished."

"Then punish me father but I am not leaving," Simon said again.

Yug sighed, "Damian just take him."

And in a split second Damian came behind, and Simon couldn't run thanks to his tiny body, he was no match against Damian.

Damian easily picked him up and walked out Simon sighed because he knew that struggle was stupidity, but he glanced at Rune worryingly before he was taken out.

Yug looked at Rune whose face was covered with sweat and he was breathing heavily, Yug slowly removed his upper clothes, and once his eyes widened once he saw the bloodied mess, looks like Rune got new wounds while fighting, Yug then turned him around and saw the wound on his back, he placed a hand on his mouth when he saw how bad it was.

If this wound had caught infection then no one could save Rune, and there was no qualified doctor near, this village where they were staying had less than a hundred they would be of no help and so late at night, they won't be able to find any herb as well.

Yug 's hands went cold and his body was shaking slightly, unbearable pain invades his heart as he looks at Rune and thinks about the worse.

He gets some clothes and clean water and cleans Rune's wounds and the only medicine he had was to lower the fever, he gave it to Rune.

After that he covered him up and sat beside him, all he can do is pray now.

He was looking at Rune's face was contorted with pain Yug placed a hand on his forehead and held his hand tightly, "Rune please...you have to make it."

Yug suddenly stood up and ran outside, "Damian!"

"Yes, my lord." Damian came quickly, Ximon was still safe in his hand, when Simon saw how tense and worked Yug was he clenched his fists, his heart hammered against his chest, "Father I want to see him..."

Yug looked at him but didn't say anything, "Prepare the horses we are leaving now...we need to get him to a doctor, someone experienced."

"Yes, My lord," Damian said as he put Simon down and ran outside while Yug held Simon's hand and went inside, When Simon was inside Rune was covered with a white sheet but Simon did see the bloodied shirt.

He looked at Rune, who was moving slightly, he opened his eyes slightly and said something...barely audible, "Father he is saying something."

Yug quickly sat down beside him and gently held his hand before saying, , "Hey can you hear me? can you see?"

Rune blinked, "My back is injured duke...not my brain."

Yug smirked, "We are taking you to the doctor..."

"No need..." Rune spoke slowly, "No use actually...my wound is too deep and it has been repeatedly injured too many times... and I am afraid it has caught the infection now..."

"Shut up...if we leave now, on time..."

Rune smiled, "There is no way we can reach any other village so soon."

Yug inhaled, "For once in your life can't you think positively! I am trying to save your life here you bastard."

Rune smiled again as he looked at Yug , he didn't say anything but Yug didn't need any words, the two only looked into each other's eyes, Before Yug said, "I will save you...Unlike you, I keep my promises."

Simon saw the two of them before he came forward, "Father I can save him."

Both of them looked at him Rune spoke, "How can you bring a child here?"

Yug was looking at Simon, the determination and seriousness in Simon's eyes was something that was not normally seen in a child's eyes, "How can you save him, Simon."

"For god's sake..." Rune began to speak but he couldn't complete his sentence as he started coughing violently.

Simon then move to the side and picked a glass jar before he threw it on the ground breaking it into pieces, the two looked at him, Yug suddenly spoke, "Simon get away from that gl..." before he could complete Simon picked a glass piece and pressed it, fresh blood came out of his hand as he came towards Rune.

"Your child is injured, Duke." Rune said worryingly and Yug could see but what was more worrying was that face that Simon didn't flinch or hesitate to pick that glass piece and neither he show any sign of pain and discomfort as his hand was bleeding instead he looked straight at his father, "I can heal him, father."

Yug sat in front of him, "How can you heal him?"

Simon spoke with clarity, "my blood can heal him, father, please..."

"No way." Rune said, slowly in a whisper, "I am not drinking a child's blood like a monster no fukcing way... this is madness."

"Father please."

Yug sighed, a lot of unusual things have happened first the temple thing and then the mysterious book that Simon was reading, as disturbing as it is, Rune's life had to be saved at any cost Yug cannot lose him.

And as for Simon, he looks determined and his blood so already shed, if this can save a life, a life that Yug cherished more than his own then fine...Yug got up and opened grabbed Rune's mouth before opening it.

Rune made some noises and said some unclear words moved a little to struggle but it was futile, Simon threw the glass piece away and placed his bleeding hand in Rune's mouth as his blood entered his mouth.

And after five second passed he removed his hand, his wound already healed, Yug of course saw this and he was happy that the wound healed.

Yug also removed his hand from Rune's face whose eyes were closed and he came beside his son examining his hand for any more injury, after that he looked at Rune again and to his surprise the wounds were healing fast, miraculously fast. A smile made it's way on Yug 's face and when Simon saw the smile and happiness on his father's face he felt happy too.

In the meantime Damian also came inside, "Duke the preparations have been made."

Yug looked at him, "We might not need to leave anymore."
