Chapter 57:non-flyable wings

Ethan followed the Guardian and approached the man who had arrived from the capital. The man from the capital was dressed in thick clothes and appeared to be an average-looking individual. Ethan approached him and spoke.

"Are you the one from the capital?" Ethan asked.

"Yes, Your Majesty, it's me."

"Why have you come here?" Ethan inquired.

"I have come, Your Majesty, to deliver a letter from your father, His Majesty King Richard, and to tell you go to the capital."the man said. Ethan took the letter from the man's hand and examined it. The letter bore the king's seal, but it was a bit crumpled and worn.

"Why should I believe you? Perhaps you're trying to deceive me," Ethan said.

"Your Majesty, I am the deputy of the leader of the elite royal guards' third battalion, and here is the proof," he said, pulling out a badge from his pocket. When Ethan looked at the badge, he realized the man was not lying.

"Alright, why are you alone, and where is your leader?" Ethan asked.

"Your Majesty, we encountered many troubles on our way here, and five of our men died. One of them was the leader of the third royal guards. Some guards who made it here with me are injured, so we took them to a clinic, and the rest are resting at a brothel because they were tired," he explained.

"I see. You may go and rest like the others," Ethan said. After the Guardian bowed, he walked away. Ethan returned to his mansion and sat down in the living room. He opened and began to read Richard's letter.

"My son, Prince Ethan,

I hope this letter has reached you without much delay. I want you to know that someone will soon send a gift of gold and food to the Kingdom of Asina. Before you receive this gift, I want you to be by my side so that we can discuss some matters. Lastly, the leader of the Crimson Sisters will soon visit us officially, and that is why I want you to return home as quickly as possible."

The letter may not seem to convey anything significant at first glance, but in reality, it was filled with secret codes known only to the house of Lenistark . The gift of gold and food to the Asina Kingdom actually indicated that someone would soon declare war on the Asina Kingdom. Conversely, if the Kingdom of Asina sent a gift of gold and food to a country, it meant that the Kingdom of Asina would declare war on that country. These secret codes were just some of the words the Lenistark family taught its members as children

The mention of the Crimson Sisters in the letter further intrigued Ethan because the Crimson Sisters actually referred to the Tamerid Imperial House, and the leader of the Crimson Sisters was the leader of the Tamerid Empire. In reality, the leader of the Tamerid Empire was not an emperor but an empress, so Empress Anastasia would be visiting the Asina Kingdom. The reason for all these secret words was to prevent anyone else from understanding the important content of the letter if it fell into the wrong hands. Ethan got up from the chair and threw the letter into the fireplace, watching it burn.

He needed to leave in these dire circumstances and reach the capital as quickly as possible. Ethan went outside and called out to the captain of his guards.

"Prepare everything as quickly as possible. I am leaving for the capital tomorrow," he said.

"As you command, Your Majesty," the guard captain replied, quickly walking away.

Later, Ethan left the mansion and headed towards the cabin where Aleria stayed. When he reached Aleria's cabin, he knocked on the door, and soon Aleria opened it. Aleria had grown taller and more beautiful over the years. Her aura had changed, and she had become a confident young woman. It wouldn't be accurate to just call her beautiful; every detail about Aleria was perfect, and as her body grew, she became even more feminine.

"Can't you stand being without me anymore? But I'm glad you came; I was going to come to you soon anyway" Aleria said.

"I wanted to stop by before going to the capital tomorrow" Ethan said.

"What?This time of year? Why are you leaving, anyway?" Aleria asked.

"I think you're the one who can't stand being without me, huh? As for why I'm leaving; my father summoned me, and can I explain the rest inside? I'm freezing out here" Ethan said.

"Oh, I'm sorry, come in" she said. Ethan entered, and he sat on the couch. Aleria went to make coffee in the kitchen and soon returned.

"Is milky coffee still your favorite?" she asked.

"Yes, thank you. Your cabin has grown quite big; did you build a new room?" Ethan asked.

"Yes, it's more comfortable this way. So, start explaining. Why exactly are you going to the capital this Season?" Aleria asked. Ethan recounted the contents of his father's letter without skipping any details. Aleria listened attentively without interrupting. When Ethan finished speaking, Aleria said, "I understand the contents of the letter, but I still don't understand why you're going to the capital. After all, it doesn't make much sense to have a war at this time, and even if there were a war,there would be no need to send you letters in secret. Also, why does the visit of Empress Anastasia concern you? Can't the king meet her on his own?"

"You're right, but... I don't know, but I'm sure there's a reason why my father asked me to come to the capital" Ethan said, looking thoughtful.

After a few seconds, a faint smell of burning filled the air, and incredibly fast, four red wings began to emerge from behind Aleria. Ethan watched the scene in front of him with amazement.

" Wondurfull... " Ethan said in awe.

When Aleria saw Ethan's reaction, she smiled and started to flap her wings, trying to lift herself into the air, but she quickly hit her head on the ceiling and fell to the ground.

"Awww," Ethan quickly went to her side.

"Are you okay?" Ethan asked.

"Yes, I'm fine. I still haven't gotten used to these wings," she said.

Ethan helped Aleria to get up. When Aleria retracted her wings, her upper garment fell to the ground. The wings had torn through her clothes as they emerged, causing the scent of burnt fabric. A blush crept onto Aleria's cheeks as she hurriedly tried to cover her breasts with her hands, but her large breasts made it impossible to cover them completely. Her skin was so smooth and beautiful that Ethan couldn't take his eyes off her. Aleria blushed even more when she noticed Ethan's intense gaze.

"Don't look!" she said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't realize" Ethan replied.

Ethan took off his Overcoat and covered Aleria's upper body, concealing her nakedness. Aleria put on Ethan's coat without protest and looked at him with a still flushed face.

"I apologize for shouting at you. It was my fault to attempt flying without fully controlling my powers" she said.

"I'm sorry for crossing the boundary of privacy. I just... you're so beautiful that I was mesmerized" Ethan said, feeling a bit embarrassed. Aleria blushed again at his words, but she smiled slightly, pleased with Ethan's compliment. She stood up again and held the surrounding coat with her hand.

"It's okay... Ethan. Actually, we should have crossed such boundaries earlier, but I always kept my distance from you and created a barrier between us," Aleria said, forcing herself to speak.

"Aleria.." Ethan whispered.

Aleria approached Ethan, and they drew closer to each other until they could feel each other's breath. While Aleria's eyes seemed confident, her flushed cheeks told a different story. Aleria involuntarily bit her lip and looked at Ethan with lustful eyes. Taking the initiative, Ethan leaned in and kissed Aleria's lips. They both surrendered to this passionate kiss. As Aleria wrapped her hands around Ethan's neck, her open-front coat revealed her breasts. They continued kissing each other passionately, and Ethan's hands found their way to Aleria's breasts.

Aleria lightly moaned as Ethan caressed her breasts. Ethan pulled back his lips and started kissing Aleria's neck, then continued kissing biting her shoulder. Aleria bit her lips slightly and looked Ethan in the eyes and spoke "Let's continue in the bedroom, Darling..." she said.
