Ch 9
It's now the afternoon and we just finished our lunch Lucoa and I are now walking to her friend's house and Nanahoshi and Spade are not with us as Nanahoshi needed to go back home or else his parents will be worried about him.
As Lucoa and I are walking Lucoa been clinging onto my arm and by doing so many people started to look our way making me feel a little shy as the old Shouta personality is still affecting me and Lucoa seeing my state just moved closer to me with a bigger smile enjoying herself as she watches me being shy in pubic.
It didn't take us long to reach Lucoa's friend's house at a big apartment building and we made our way to the front door of Lucoa's friend's apartment unit quite easily as it seems Lucoa has been here before.
Once we reached the door Lucoa was the first to act and knocked on the door for a bit before a woman with a buxom figure with large thighs and plump bouncy breasts, red-orange eyes with dilated pupils, and long blonde hair that turns to flaming orange and ends in pink and purple tips open the door.
Seeing her I first thought she was a cosplayer seeing the hair, horns, tail, and maid uniform before remembering she's Tohru, Lucoa's friend and one of the main characters of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.
Tohru who opened the door was a bit surprised to see us as she was expecting Lucoa to be alone but it didn't last long as she went for a hug hugging Lucoa and started to talk to her with worry in her voice ignoring me.
"Lucoa, come help me Miss Kobayashi is cheating on me with another maid!!" Tohru
Hearing what she said Lucoa started to pat Tohru's head and dragged her in into the apartment building as I followed along wondering what is happening.
Once we were inside Lucoa sat on a chair and had Tohru sit across her while I just sat next to Lucoa still not saying anything as I feel like I should just keep my mouth shut.
After we all were sitting down Lucoa started to talk to Tohru.
"Now, Tohru can you tell me what's really going on and why you need me here." Lucoa
"Lucoa, it's Miss Kobayashi she's cheating on me. Yesterday when I went to her workplace to bring her lunch as she forgot at home I caught her and that human man from the party going somewhere and when I follow them and they went to a Maid Cafe!! And in that cesspool, I saw Miss Kobayashi cheating on me as she was being served by another maid. I would have burned that place down along with that whore if it wasn't for the fact that Miss Kobayashi saw me and stopped me as I was about ready to destroy everything." Tohru
Hearing Tohru's words I felt that I should stay on her good side remembering she's a world-ending dragon with a jealous streak so I opened the Relationship System to change our relationship into a good one before she does anything to me.

After I changed the status I turned off the system and started to listen to the conversation once more.
"Tohru, you should know better, her going to a maid cafe doesn't mean she's cheating on you, and did you even try to talk to her clearly than just starting to arguing with her." Lucoa
"Yeah you have a point but I just couldn't stand the thought of Miss Kobayashi cheating on so I need you here to support me when I talk to her." Tohru
"Ahh, I will be here when you are trying to make up but I'm not going to be on your side. I'm here to be the voice of reason if the situation calls for it." Lucoa
As they were talking a soft "I'm home" came from the door before a very cute and appealing girl with blue eyes and white-lavender hair with purple tips tied into pigtails, each adorned with three dark blue beads came into the room.
Seeing her walk into the room I thought cute and that I wanted to hug her but as it would be awakened to hug her out of nowhere I open the Relationship System once more and made our relationship into something that allows me to hug her without causing a problem.

After changing the relationship status I got up from my chair and hugged Kanna.
When I hugged Kanna she didn't resist and just stayed in my hands but I felt a weak bond with her telling me I should protect her or something.
Seeing her not fight me and that a bond was already made I picked her up and took her where Lucoa and Tohru were still talking to each other and sat down while putting Kanna on my lap.
Lucoa and Tohru seeing me return to my seat with Kanna on my lap were surprised, to say the least, seeing how we just met, and yet without saying a word I was able to hug and pick up Kanna without her reacting negatively to me.
Lucoa seeing Kanna happily sitting on my lap frowned a bit before smiling once more without saying anything while Tohru started to look between Kanna and me trying to make a connection to how we ended up in our current situation but couldn't find a reason so she just asked us what's on her mind.
"Do you two know each other?" Tohru
Hearing her question Kanna was the first to answer.
"No." Kanna
Hearing Kanna's quick and short reply I felt it was cute but Tohru couldn't accept the short answer and continue to question us.
"Kanna if you don't know him then why are you allowing him to hug you and put you on his lap?" Tohru
"Don't know I just feel happy near him." Kanna
Hearing Kanna's reply Tohru looked stumped but Lucoa who was smiling seemed to understand something and started to speak up.
"Oh, I know what you mean Kanna, Shouta just gives off good feelings somehow and I like it too, it's like being near a fountain of love for me when I'm around him." Lucoa
Hearing Lucoa's statement Kanna nodded her head in agreement with what Lucoa said but Tohru was still giving a confused expression before she started to talk in a confused tone of voice.
"I don't understand, the only thing I can feel off of him besides his little magic power is nothing, other than the fact that I don't feel as annoyed looking at him compared to other lowly humans he's nothing special." Tohru
Hearing her words I felt mad being looked down upon and being called a lowly human is degrading but I guess to her a world-ending being I am quite lacking and can be seen as a lowly human because compared to her what I am is nothing special but it still not give her the right to say that kind of stuff in front of me, at least she could make it sound lest insulting.
While I was thinking how rude Tohru was being Lucoa seemed to call her out on it with a frown on her face while releasing great pressure on Tohru as she spoke to her.
"Now now, Tohru, I believe you're saying some rude things about my Shouta. You should apologize to him now or we can talk this out somewhere else like the dragons we are." Lucoa
Hearing her words and pressure Tohru was sweating profusely and just started to talk weakly as she moved her head stiffly to me.
"Sorry for saying all those rude things to you so please forgive me." Tohru
Hearing her apologize I felt happy but it wasn't because she apologized but because Lucoa spoke up for me when I was feeling down and she was even willing to fight her friend despite being a pacifist for me.
Feeling happy I forgave Tohru and moved closer to Lucoa to show my appreciation to her, I would have hugged and kiss her but as Kanna was still sitting on my lap enjoying my hug so I couldn't move that much but this was enough for now.
Once I forgave Tohru all of us sat in slices but as it was getting awkward I got Kanna to take out her homework and started to help her with it as Lucoa once again took out my phone from her breast and started to play games on it while Tohru not knowing what to do just went to do house chores before she started to cook as she waited for Kobayashi to come home.
We all became occupied by the things we were doing and we didn't notice the time go by until the front door was opened and a woman's voice could be heard.
Tohru hearing that voice ran to it while Kanna hopped off my lap and followed behind Tohru.
Seeing the two actions I guessed Kobayashi must be home and it didn't take long for her to come into my view with her being a bespectacled young woman with bright red hair that tied in a ponytail and hazel brown dead fish eyes.
Seeing her I felt no need to open the Relationship System as I felt we'll get along even if I don't force a relationship on us.
Kobayashi seeing Lucoa and I just raised an eyebrow before turning to Tohru for answers.
"Oh, I invite Lucoa for dinner today and the boy is Shouta Lucoa's... friend I guess." Tohru
Hearing Tohru answers her doubts Kobayashi turn to us and greeted us.
"Hello, nice to see you again Lucoa, and nice to meet you Shouta I'm Miss Kobayashi you can just call me Kobayashi." Kobayashi
Hearing her greeting Lucoa just smiled at her and I greeted her back.
"Hello Kobayashi I'm Shouta Magatsuchi but you can call me Shouta and I'm Lucoa's master. Before you ask we're not in a BDSM relationship. I'm in all actuality a mage in training and I have entered a master and familiar relationship with Lucoa but between you and me, Lucoa and I are in all honesty in a lovey-dovey relationship than a formal master-servant relationship. I guess you should know what I'm saying seeing how you are in the same situation as me." Shouta
Hearing my greeting Kobayashi was dumbfounded at what I said in the latter part of my greeting while Lucoa just laughed at my actions as Tohru hearing what I said was happy thinking I understood her relationship with Kobayashi while Kanna just didn't understand what was going on.
Once the greetings were over all of us had dinner before Tohru started to talk to Kobayashi about the maid cafe while Kanna, Lucoa, and I just sat on the sidelines as they talked through their problems.
I'm sure there's going to be more talks like this in the future for them as dragons are not known to get over jealously quite easily.
