Ch1 ~ Begin

I walked down the empty streets thinking about how I'll tell my parents my biggest secret. The one thing they don't tolerate, the one thing they will never live with. Their only son is gay. I crouched down on the sidewalk silently practicing when I saw a pair of Non-slip Dress shoes.

I looked up to meet with bright green eyes that outshine my doe brown ones. I stood up and took a few steps back realizing our proximity. He had dark brown styled hair, plumped lips a sharp structured face, dominating eyes that could see your every insecurity. "I-Is there something you need?"

He studies my feature and takes a step forward. "I want you." Huh? Is he trying to pull a prank? Like Hell, I'll fall for that. I glared at him and walking past him "Whatever Joke you're pulling it's not funny." He grabbed my arm pulling me towards him. "I'm not joking. I want you to be mine." He kissed me. I pushed away wiping my mouth as my face turned a deep red.

"I have someone! And I don't even know you!" I yelled. "Then, we can get to know each other... You may not remember me but I remember you. You used to work for me three years ago." He said. Did I work for him? There's no way, I would remember a face like that anywhere. The rain started pouring down. He takes my hand and pulls me towards his car. "Wait! Hold on! Are you trying to Kidnap me!" He chuckled and lightly pushes me in the car closing the door before walking to the other side.

"Where do you live?" I gave him my address and he gives it to his driver. I sat trying to register everything that happened. Right, I don't even know his name. I looked at him and see he's already looking at me. I struggled to keep a blush from appearing "M-My name is Pheonix Ryker, others call me Nix, What's your name?" I asked. "Augustin Louis." Wait... The Augustin Louis! As in the Youngest CEO in the world. "How old are you, if you don't mind me asking." He looked down at his fingers and started counting. "I should be 22. You?" He doesn't even know his age. "Two years older than you. I'm 24." He nods.

It was an awkward drive. Augustin decided it was a good thing to exchange numbers and we did. He looked happy. I said goodbye and made my way inside. What I saw shattered me. My sister was making out with my boyfriend. He told me he was gay. He told me he only had eyes for me. My eyes began to water. I can't blame her though, she didn't know we were together, no one did. I storm past them going to my room and slamming the door. A few minutes later a soft knock was heard. "Nix, Are you okay? Did someone bully you on your way home?" Amelia said softly.

She opens the door when she realized I wasn't answering. When she saw me crying her face changed to worry. She sat beside me placing a hand on my back. "I sent Jason home, can you tell me what's wrong?" I have to tell her, she needs to know. I take a deep breath wiping away the tears. "I'm gay." She smiles and ruffles my hair. "Is that what you were worried about? You know big sis got your back." She said with a huge smile "Jason and I are together." Her smile drops and her face turns into terror. "Wait so... I Just-" She says but I cut her off.

"No. It's not your fault you didn't know. Hell, I didn't know. I'm not mad at you Mia, I just feel betrayed that he'll do something like that to me." I said burying my head between my knees. She takes my hand and softly squeezes it. "I'm so sorry Phoenix. Don't worry leave everything to me, you will never ever have to see him again." She said. I love my sister so freaking much, she makes living look so easy but I'm scared... Jason can be very controlling at times. I don't want him to hurt her I looked up and shooked my head "No. Don't I'll talk to him." She smiles softly and gives me a small peck on the forehead before leaving the room.

Do you want to know how I felt like when I woke up? Shit, I felt so shitty that I didn't want to get up and lead the house. I didn't go to sleep till four in the morning and I woke up three hours later. Amelia had gone home so I was alone and bored. She's supposed to come over to make brunch as I don't feel like cooking today. I got out my phone and started playing random games till I got bored again.

I should probably officially break up with Jason. I speed-dialed his number and waited until he answered. "Morning babe." He said in that voice I once loved hearing every morning, now it just made me feel disgusted. "Don't call me that. You and I are over." the line went silent for a while. "Can't you just forgive me? It was a mistake. I didn't mean to kiss her she was just... there." Omg! He's such an ass. So what he's saying is he took advantage of my sister and If I hadn't come he would have gone further.

"Jason. There is no forgiveness. I'm going to block you and we won't see each other again. Dont try to contact my sister either or I swear I won't let you off easy." I hanged up and quickly blocked him. Tossing the phone on the bed. I showered, Brushed, Straight up my room watched Tv, and starve to death.

"I'm home! Well more like in your home, but I'm still here. I'll get cooking so you just sit tight and relax." Amelia said going straight into the kitchen. I continue watching movies on Tv till My phone started ringing. I picked up my phone to see Augustin. I sat up and answered the call. "Hello?" I said rubbing my sweaty palm on my leg. "W-would you... like to go on a date? A friendly date." He said sounding nervous. "I-" I started saying till I was rudely interrupted "Nix! Go get the door! Someone just pulled up!" Amelia yelled from in the kitchen. I moved the phone away from my face. "No! I'm on the phone!" I replied, she grumbled and stomped to the front door.

"Okay, well the answer to your question is yes. I'm not yet ready to get into another relationship yet... So It'll be a get-together... Is that okay?" I asked still nervous. "Of course." He said I could practically feel his excitement. "Go Away." I hear my sister say sternly. "Text me the address and time, I'll meet you there. Bye." I said before hanging up. I placed my phone in my pocket going to the front door. "What are you doing here Jason?" I asked crossing my arm.

"I came to apologize. I'm so sorry... I spent the day thinking about us. I missed you." Jason said looking at me. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "Go away. I spent a whole night crying over you and slept our memories away." I said turning away. He grabs my arm pulling me in a hug. "Please forgive me Nixy." He said holding me tighter. I almost gave in, almost. I saw Augustin's car in the distance. "No! Now I'm going to be late for my hangout." I pushed him away stumbling back a little. He looked to the floor anger flashing trough his eyes. I ignored it turning around.

He grabbed my arm pulling me into a forced kiss. I pushed away glaring at him "What is with everyone and Kissing me!" I yelled rubbing my lips. His eyes widen before glaring again "So you were seeing someone behind my back." He said scoffing. I rolled my eyes "Like hell I was. I was caught by surprise and someone kissed me. You know how it is. Besides you deliberately kissed my sister she wasn't the one who kissed you." I said folding my arms.

He sighed and shook his head "Can we put everything aside and start over?" "No," I said fast walking away to my room. I quickly put on a light blue dress shirt tucking it on my dark blue washed out jeans and black dress shoes. I rolled up my sleeves quickly walking out the room to grab my phone and wallet. I checked the message 'Don't worry I'll pick you up, be ready in 15 mins.' That idiot. I quickly walked to the front door. "Where are you going dressed like that?" Jason asked pointing at my clothes. I ignored him looking around spotting Augustin leaning against his car looking down at his phone. I ran up to him. "You know you could've said you were here," I told him.

He walked to the passenger side opening the door for me. "You looked like you were busy so I didn't want to disturb you." He said closing the door as I got in. He made his way to the driver's side getting in. He starts the car and drives off "So where are we going?" I asked looking at him. "It's a secret." He said with a smile.
