Vampires, wolf, tigers and many other clans are predators whereas humans are a weak creature. They can die easily but still they are able to live because of their talents and ancestors who were quite powerful and not submissive.
Because of that, no clan directly attacks humans since in the past humans and other clan members once have signed a peace treaty pact. They don't attack directly but they do kill indirectly. And now that the races have been mixed with human blood, they have grown quite fond of humans, so indirectly too, this became the reason for their survival.
Cassie also observed a thin and weak girl wrapping her arms around her knees while sitting in a corner, wearing a thin rag and being cuffed with thin hand cuffs. She looked no more then ten years old and also a human being.
Hmm… just when I was thinking about humans, she came in my point of view. I never thought that they even sell human in this auction house.
