Chapter 4: Come with me

The person who came into the room was a woman dressed in a white and blue chiffon dress. It gave her a pure and innocent aura. She gave off the feeling of wanting to protect.

Zhou Liqin has a big smile on his face. He asks,

"Nuying, what's the great news?"

"I got the leading role in the new series Romance in the night!" Shao Nuying couldn't hide her joy. Never did she expect to get such a big role so soon.

But the joy soon disappeared when she spotted Wei Xiaohui in the room.

"H-hello, Xiaohui." Despite knowing each other for so long, Shao Nuying was scared. For her, it looked like a predator eyeing down the prey. And she was the prey.

Of course, she is. Wei Xiaohui's expression isn't something to be said.

"So you finally see me, you homewrecker." Wei Xiaohui didn't hide her disdain at all.

Remembering how kind she was when helping her friend made her want to laugh.

What did she receive in return for helping her? She got everything taken away.

Shao Nuying's face turned pale when she heard that. But Zhou Liqin quickly came to her aide, "Wei Xiaohui, don't you dare talk to Nuying like that!"

Wei Xiaohui's face darkens, "But it's true. She's the one who took everything away from me. Why shouldn't I say it?"

"Shut up! What do you want?!" Now that Wei Xiaohui knows about it, Zhou Liqin doesn't care about hiding his feelings now. He knows that Wei Xiaohui didn't only come here to ask him about her career.

"What do I want? I want to break my contract with you. I want reimbursement as well." Even though she wasn't working in the company, she was still under contract with HOPE.

If she wants to have revenge, then she will have to leave the company.

"You're insane!" Zhou Liqin would be a fool to let Wei Xiaohui leave. It was too risky.

"If you don't let me leave, then I'll let everybody know who the model's real identity is." Wei Xiaohui smirks. She knows the reason why Zhou Liqin didn't want to break the contract. He's afraid she might blab about it.

"YOU-" Before Zhou Liqin could bark at Wei Xiaohui, Shao Nuying pulls on his suit,

"Liqin, just give her the reimbursement. It's my fault for taking Xiaohui's reputation. This is all my fault." Tears filled Shao Nuying's eyes as she said this.

Seeing the guilty look on her face, Zhou Liqin comforts her, "Nuying, this isn't your fault. I was the one who told you to use her career, not you. I was the one who chose to love you, not you."

Zhou Liqin glares at Wei Xiaohui, "Fine!"He takes out his checkbook and writes out a check of ten million yuan.

"Take the money and get out of my sight!" The love the two had for each other was no more. The only thing they felt was hate.

Zhou Liqin also took out two pieces of paper. One was her contract in which he ripped it up. The other he throws it to Wei Xiaohui,

"Sign these." They were divorce papers.

"It was my mistake to marry such a vixen." He regrets taking Wei Xiaohui as his wife. He'll marry Shao Nuying instead.

Wei Xiaohui took the papers and quickly signed them. He didn't need to say anything as this was one of the things she wanted.

Now, Wei Xiaohui and Zhou Liqing aren't married. They were nothing more than strangers now.

Before Wei Xiaohui could leave the office, Zhou Liqin warned her, "Don't you dare speak about this to anyone else, or you'll regret it."

Wei Xiaohui didn't say anything. However, before she left the room, she took one more glance at them. Zhou Liqin didn't glance at her anymore. He was too busy comforting his new lover.

As Wei Xiaohui enters the elevator, she hears her phone ringing.

She saw it was Liu Zemin texting her.

I'm outside.

When she got to the ground floor, the workers greeted her again. One of them even gave her some fruit, "Lady boss, please don't be so angry. Have some fruit."

Wei Xiaohui accepts the gift and puts a light smile on her face. But she corrected them, "Thank you. But I won't be your lady boss anymore."

"?" Her comment left most of the workers confused. Wei Xiaohui didn't say anything else as she left.

When she got outside, Liu Zemin was waiting outside for her.

"Did you get everything finished?" Wei Xiaohui nodded slightly.

Liu Zemin didn't say anymore as he grabbed her hand, "Come with me."
