Augustus carefully led Wolf out of the occupied stronghold, searching for a random building that appeared to be in good condition. They walked through the streets, scanning the surroundings for any signs of safety or shelter. The area was war-torn, with remnants of destruction and chaos scattered everywhere.
After a while, they stumbled upon a building that seemed relatively intact. Its windows were shattered, but the structure itself appeared sturdy. Augustus cautiously approached the entrance, peering inside to assess the safety of the interior. There were no demons present.
Augustus placed Wolf on top of a bed so he could rest, finally relieving himself of the burden on his shoulders. As he did that, the contract on Wolf was removed, and Augustus decided to stay and keep watch until Arielle and the others returned.
