Chapter-15: Han River

[Sarah Pov]

we started looking for it like mad people each and every inch of the park for 30 min. But I couldn't find it. The more I look for it the more I couldn't hold back my tears.

"Don't worry Sarah, we can find it"Stacy told me while looking for it.

"Did you people find it?" we heard a third voice and we turned our heads towards the direction

A handsome man was running towards us.

" woww, he is damn hot" I told out loud

"Bitch, control yourself he is my man" She told me.

"What?? Are you sure?" I asked to tease her.

"what do you mean?" she asked me.

"He seemed to be quite opposite to you. how can he be your boyfriend?" I asked her while still teasing her.

"heyy!!!. That's mean" she said and stroked back of my head.

"Annyonghaseyo"he said and gave me a bow.

I never understand these people and this bowing thing. But it looks fun,

after being here for one day that the least i understand.

"Annyonghaseyo" I said and bowed back.

" Hi I am ...." he's still talking.

"We can have introductions later first find it!!!!!" she shouted and next moment we both nodded at each other and started looking for the voice recorder.

The clock has been ticking from 9 to 10 to 11 but we still couldn't find it. we enquired the people working over at the park about it but couldn't get the answer we wanted.

I can see the restlessness in their both faces.

" Stacy, I think it's time to stop looking for it" I said and sat on the bench.

" Don't say like that, it might be somewhere around here. If we look for it a little longer we can find it" she said while still looking for it.

"My mom always used to say that the things that we lost will find their way back to us" I told her.

"I think Sarah is correct. we searched every corner of the park. Now our only chance is the restaurant"Stacy's boyfriend told us.

"Let's hope it will be at the restaurant" I told them.

" Don't worry Sarah, I will make sure to go to the restaurant and find it when it reopens" he told me.

"what?? noo!! Don't give up Sarah"Stacy told me while holding my hand.

"there was nothing left. It's my fault that I lost it. I don't want you people to suffer for it"I told them, feeling horrible for dragging them into it.

Stacy was about to say something

her boyfriend dragged her to a side and started talking.

while I was just sitting while thinking about absolutely nothing.

[stacy pov]

"what are you doing?" I asked him.

" don't you see she is upset?" he asked me.

" Do you think I am blind I can clearly see it. That's why I am asking to search for it" I told him.

"It's very clear that we can't find it. The more we look for it the more she will be sad" he told me.

"is that so? I remind you once again it's all your mistake .if you let me go when I asked you this would never happen" I told him.

"I know I still feel guilty for it. Now all we can do is to cheer her up" he told me.

which seemed convincing to me.

" She is very opposite to the word cheer" I told him and we both looked in her direction and she put her earphones on and listen to who knows what.

At the same moment, he received a call.

"It's from them" he told me.

"I will be with her" I told him and went back to Sarah.

[Sarah Pov]

" what are you listening to ?" Stacy asked me.

"it's nothing. just some random song" I told her.

"Is everything ok?" I asked her.

" everything is perfect" her boyfriend told us.

" Tell me, Sarah you are here to visit Seoul right?" he asked me.

" yes. I guess" I told them.

" then what are we doing in the park? we should be exploring Seoul.

what say Stacy?" he asked Stacy.

" yes "Stacy said while nodding her head continuously which made me chuckle a little. I understand that they are making an attempt to make me feel happy. so I don't want to spoil their mood.

" so, where are we going first?" I asked them.

"Han River. it's very famous and peaceful and the view is breathtaking at night" he told us

"yes. yes " Stacy told us while giggling

"what's happening?"I asked them

" it's the place where he proposed to me" she told me and she turned complete red

wow I never saw her blushing before

" Oh My God. Stacy you are blushing. What did you do to my friend? " I asked him.

" But this is still morning or afternoon. what are we gonna do by going there now?" I asked them

" There we can ride bikes and eat food at convenience stores. today the weather was beautiful " Stacy said with full excitement

I cannot say no after seeing how excited she was so I just nodded

"Let's go" Stacy's boyfriend said and linked his arms with Stacy's.

I felt so happy for them, they are so in love. They are childish as well as mature.

I felt very happy about how she was able to trust men after everything she went through.

[Justin Pov]

"Hello.Anyone there. Hello"she said on another side of the phone

"H...elllo" Caleb said in a shaky voice.

"Am I speaking to Caleb?" The lady asked him over the phone.

"Yes. I am " he replied.

"My god.i have been trying to reach you from the last couple of days" she replied.

We can see the tension on his face. Even we were just stopped for a second.

" May I know who this is?" He replied in a very low tone.

It's very clear that he was scared to death at this point.

"I am sorry. I am xiao meng "she told us.

he shook his head telling us that she doesn't know her.

"and your appointment for your first trial checkup has been confirmed for 3rd Jan" she told on the phone.

" what appointment?" he asked her

Xavier bend over and told me in my ear

" is this might be that one. Are you thinking the same that I am thinking?"

I nodded while thinking the same as him

" for your surgery to remove your third nipple" she told us

then we both got confirmed that it was the same thing that we are thinking

and we all started loosing and laughed out loud

" what??? a third nipple? who has the third nipple?" he asked him and he is totally freaking out.

" calm down sir, it was you who booked the appointment for the surgery to remove the third nipple" she said over the phone

"I am sorry, I don't have any third nipple" Caleb said over the phone

"don't worry sir, your secret is safe here. your privacy is our first concern"

she told over the phone

we all are laughing as if our belly buttons where gonna come out

"OH my god.listen you might have some misunderstanding. i never called for the appointment" he begged her and cut the call and switched it off

"you had the third nipple?"Aaron asked looking at him in a disgusting way

"what? brother, you know I have no third nipple?" Caleb asked

" We never know" Eros said

"then look for yourself" he said while removing his shirt

"God, stoppppppp" Eros said while pressing word p

the whole while I and Xavier kept laughing feeling happy that our plan worked

"whose work is it?" he asked us

which made both me and Xavier to look at each other

"I know it was you two" he said and started chasing us

"you morons, how dare you to do it?" he said and started chasing behind us

"Stop three of you" Eros said.

"Brother, it was their fault" Caleb said.

" ok then, both of you apologize to him" Aaron said

" what? just an apology.that's not fair" Caleb said.

"then you three deal for yourself" Eros said and went back to his room

followed by Aaron

[at 3:00pm]

"Brother, you cannot defeat me" I told Eros while overtaking him.

" that's cheating you should not overtake the person" he shouted back

"what?? then what's the purpose of a race?" Xavier asked while overtaking him.

while Aaron was riding the bike in peace not giving a damn about race.

" watch out" Caleb said while overtaking Eros.

"I think there was something wrong with the bike." eros said

" there he goes again with another excuse" Caleb said

and we all laughed

" guys. guys" Aaron called us from behind

"ed is here" he told us

we u turned our bikes and rode towards him

" where are you?" we asked him

"Sorry, it's an emergency. did you people eat?" he asked us

" you are asking that question at 4 pm? Mr.Manger"Xavier said while looking at his watch

"wait!! aren't they closing this place at 3:00 pm due to some renovation work?" I asked them

" ed!!!!!!!!!!" we all shouted knowing that he lied to us

"I booked the slot for bowling at 3 pm " he informed us while trying to change the topic

"Then postpone it to 7 pm" Aaron informed.

"No!! cannot happen. it's very hard to re-book the whole bowling orchard" he told us

"by the way where is your girlfriend?" Caleb asked ed

"No it can happen I will make sure it happens.you are riding bikes right? go on. I will be right here " he said.

which made all of us laugh

" ok let's go" Aaron said

" what about 13 lap race? the person who wins is free from doing all the chores at home" Caleb said

" Then what about the person who loses?" Xavier asked

" he has to do all the chores that winning person was supposed to do" I told them

" everyone ok with it? " Caleb asked while looking at eros way.

" Why are you looking at me?" eros asked Caleb

" because you will be the person who is going to lose. so I want to know whether you are ok with it?" Caleb said.

we all laughed

"enough enough let's go. you will see the loser at the finish line" Eros said

" How can you look at yourself?" Xavier asked

and we all laughed again

" heyyy, leave him alone," Aaron said and started counting

and we all ran to our positions and

" Ready"

"Steady"

"Go"

We all took off at jet speed.Because no one wants to come last.

we are riding them like no tomorrow

[Sarah Pov]

"Did you like it?" she asked me while pointing at the food I am eating

"it's very good. I never knew Ramen tastes this good" I told her

We are sitting near picnic area and enjoying some local food

"You people are enjoying the view?" her boyfriend asked

"where did you go?" she asked him

"you people have no idea what I am going through" he told us with a sign

after few minutes i can see him signaling her to come along with him

I took the clue and told them

"I just want to explore this place alone. so if you both don't mind. I will go and look around?"

and left them alone wandering along the place

I have been walking with music blasting in my ears and I couldn't hear anything else. I was walking while watching the scenery until I caught a daughter and her father running on the track

which reminded me of days where I and my father used to go jogging every day in the morning and I kept on looking at them.

I Started walking along with them. It's funny that I was walking looking at them rather than looking at the road.

until I was hit by something and fell on the ground
