Triggered the nightmare

Hanging in the air, staring into the bodyguard's face, all she could think about was Kay. Her Kay was dead. Zachary cracked his skull open. She was furious, she was sad, she was burning with rage, she was going to kill Zachary for it but first, she had to get away from this vampire.

She could not understand how it was possible. She killed him, blood came out of his head and then he drowned, then how was it possible that he was staring into her face while lifting her up? He lost all his blood, where was he getting his strength from?

Suddenly the vampire bodyguard said, "wake up."

She was not expecting him to speak. Moreover, she was expecting him to say those words. "What?" asked Journee, shocked, and confused.

The bodyguard let go of her hair and grabbed her arms. He shook her hard and like an android, he started shouting and kept repeating, "wake up, wake up, wake up."
