Chunin Exams 5

We immediately went to the exam Hall after our encounter with Lee and his team. We took our seats, and after just a few minutes of waiting, we were each handed our questioners to answer.

"Kuh..." I groaned.

As expected, I don't understand the questions on it at all. I'm a properly educated individual, but I'm not exactly the type to study fictional science.

I looked at the people around me. From the looks of it, most of them seem to be struggling too.

On my left is team Guy, with Lee, Temari, and Neji. Then, sitting on my right is all of team 10, with Shikamaru, Shoji, and Ino.

I can also see other faces around me, like Gaara's group and Kiba's team 8. Of course, Naruto was there too, together with his childhood admirer, Hinata.

Looking at them like this now... They're pretty cute, aren't they?

No, no, no! Now is not the time to simp for future couples, I should focus on answering my test papers.

I can feel the examiner's eyes digging a hole into me. He's not messing around! He'll kick me out if he suspects me of cheating!

Argh! This is stressful!

With that said...

"Fufufu..." I quietly giggled.

As an avid fan of anime superpowers, I did not waste any time to master Sasuke's abilities. Despite her being a chick now, she still has the powers of the original Sasuke.

Simply put, I can now use that famous Sharingan!

I hid my face with my hand, giggling like a lunatic. Then, I activited my eyes.

Sharingan!

Just like the Sasuke in the show, I deliberately shouted the word in my mind, despite it not actually serving a purpose.

A few minutes have passed just like that.

Obviously, I was able to answer everything. All the first questions don't really matter in the end, but I think they will still be evaluated, so I did my best to fill them in nonetheless.

As for the last and most important question, I already know the correct answer to it so I did not stress on it as much as the other examinees.

"Congratulations! All of you have passed!"

The examiner congratulated all of us who remained in the room and survived. After that, he explained the twist of the exam, which I did not listen to since I already know what it was.

"Excuse me, sir!"

All of a sudden, another school staff entered the room, panicking. He nervously walked towards the ragged examiner and whispered some words into the his ears.

The examiner's eyes visibly widened as he listened, then sweat pour down his forehead and his face contorted in grimace.

"Unfortunately, the second part of the exam will be temporarily postponed. All student participants will be ordered to retreat from this point on," he abruptly announced.

"Huh!"

"Don't tell me all of that effort was a waste!"

Voices of dissatisfaction rose from the crowd of students.

"Do not worry, all of you who passed here will naturally continue on to the second part of the exam, in the date that it should be resumed."

"Fuu..."

"I see..."

Everyone heaved a sigh of relief after being assured.

"Now, as ordered, all of you should leave the premises in a heartbeat!"

As we were told to, we immediately exited the room and went to wander off on our own.

"That was odd," Sakura thought, "Why would they cancel the exam midway out of nowhere?"

"Right? And here I was expecting a challenge!" Naruto complained.

"Uh-huh..." I awkwardly nodded.

What can I say? It was my fault that the exam has been canceled.

What did I do? To put it simply, I just went ahead and tipped the school staff of a certain individual's plan.

I expected them to take action a bit faster, but I guess they needed to verify the information I have given them first.

Well, it all worked out in the end so it's fine.

It's an irresponsible decision, but I didn't want to deal with a murderous mastermind, so I took the easy way out.

With that said, I wonder how this decision will effect the future? Orochimaru should be an important factor in Naruto and Sakura's future. Now that I foiled his first appearance, surely, something would change deeply in the story...
