For the Motherland

When I woke up in the morning Willow was still asleep.

The sun was rising meaning that the beginning of the week started.

I didn't want to be late for the first day but I knew Willow could get us there in seconds so I let her sleep.

About an hour or so later her eyes fluttered open.

"Good morning!" She said with a yawn.

"Morning, are you ready?" I ask.

"Mm-Hmm"

Standing up I rise both of us to our feet.

She grabs my hand and we appear outside Joe's tent.

"Holy shit," He exclaims at our sudden entrance.

"We're ready," I say.

"Don't scare me like that but good, it took you guys long enough. I already informed the men of the plan. Everyone is in their positions and waiting."

I look down at the very distracting diaper that he is wearing and I can't help but let out a smirk. This doesn't go unnoticed but Joe doesn't say anything.

"Great, let's move out then."

Willow then teleports us to our position.

"What is the leader on about?"

"Why are we in front and so many others are behind?"

"Is he trying to get us killed?"

"I heard that the leader got injured"

"No way!"

"Yeah, that's impossible, no one here can harm him."

"There hasn't been any news from the generals, the orders we got were directly from the leader so we just have to trust him."

Some of the soldiers were discussing the changes as Willow and I appeared out of nowhere.

Directly after we arrived we heard a loud horn blow.

This caused the soldiers that were staring at us flabbergasted to snap back into action and begin their march.

"Is this going to be any fun?" Willow asks me.

"Do you want it to be?" I reply.

"Yes!" She says with a smile.

"Then watch closely."

We continue to march for hours as we push forward.

We hadn't run into any beasts are there wasn't that many around.

I could see four or five on MAP circling around us but they were severely outnumbered and didn't take action.

It wasn't until an hour later that something happened.

"Who are you two?" One of the men asks us.

"My name is Willow and this is my friend."

'We're friends?'

"Hello," I say without any energy or emotion.

"Nice to meet you Willow!" The man says as his face gets red.

"Idiot look at her hand," The man next to her whispers to him.

This causes him to look down and see Willow's hand in mine.

'Why is this trash talking to her?'

Logan's face gets even redder to the point that he looks like a lobster.

Another man that was this time to our left asks, "Why are you guys here?"

"To have fun!" Willow says.

This leaves all the people around us even the ones who weren't a part of the conversation to look at us like were are crazy.

"By the way, it's been a while when will it start? I'm getting bored," Willow asks me.

"Now," I say.

"Yay! She says jumping up and down swinging our hands that still held each other back and forth.

Screaming loud enough for the whole army to hear I say, "Two beasts to our two o'clock!"

This stuns them for a moment due to my sudden shout and the people who were just talking to us looked at me as if they just meet two of the craziest people on the planet.

Yet silence filled the air because even if they thought I was joking there might be the smallest possibility that I wasn't.

Minutes passed as we waited. But still, there was no commotion. Men were getting impatient while others were getting even more nervous.

'MAP says that one is covering us and the other is two our right.'

Looking up in the sky using ZOOM: You can see much farther away. {This is a passive ability it will not cost mana to use} yet I still don't see anything which confuses me.

'Wait!'

"ITS UNDER-" I try to warn.

*BOOM*

The ground below us blasts open to show a centipede rise up.

Any of the people near the blast were swallowed into the ground or sent flying. The rest were crushed by debris.

Commands were being yelled back and forth as people charged towards the bug to attack while others activated their abilities.

Some were attacking at range, some were running at the beast, and others were standing in front of men acting as shields.

"Raaa!" The beast roared out shaking everyone to their bones.

The centipede was huge, much of its body was still underground but what was visible was taller than the treetops.

Activating GOD'S EYE I check to see how powerful the beast is.

'This will be fun!'

"I know what you want to do, go have fun," Willow says as she lets go of my hand and teleports away.

The men that were originally upfront were mostly dead and the monster wasn't even hurt in the slightest.

"You're stealing all my XP!" I shout at the giant centipede.

Turning to Logan who was terrified and frozen in shock I put the palm of my hand over his face and squeezed.

Digging my fingers into his skull I pull back as I tear off his face.

The demonic smile that I hadn't shown in a while returns.

Logan fell backward dead while I held chunks of his face in my hand.

His nose was completely nonexistent, his left eye was in my hand, and his lower jaw was barely hanging on by a thread.

With the flesh I had in my palm I squeezed hard as it became mush which in turn splattered his eye.

'Don't talk to her."
