Extinction

After I finished reading all the previous notifications and understood the meaning of them, the once dark feeling I had lessened.

'Although it seems like I will be able to grow much stronger in power it is still really going to suck once I lose all the abilities I worked hard to accumulate,' I determine.

Letting out a faint sigh I raise my head to the sky, "Blood is going to flow." Closing my eyes I pause for a moment before opening them with determination.

'It's time to break past level 100,' I say in my head as my emotions go into turmoil.

Now looking at Willow I say, "Can you wait here for me? When I get back the heads of those in command shall fall."

Willow had a sparkle in her eyes when she heard me say that, "En!"

With that using my newly leveled powers I rose to the sky and shot across the planet.

With my speed skills that more than doubled and countless abilities, not even a second passed before I was back at a familiar location.

Looking all around me for miles on end were the beasts under my control.

Thousands of beasts were still alive that were spread out all around the planet while even more were still at the edge of the world.

However, after I killed the group of monsters and humans I sent a message telling every single beast to return to their home.

This is where I currently was, in the same place where I previously killed the dragon that was the protector of these beasts.

I now had the role but I would not be protecting them. It was the opposite. Today would mark the extinction of beasts on Hive.

Crashing down onto the land below I was surrounded by all kinds of monsters but they didn't do a thing. They couldn't do anything to stop the oncoming genocide.

Placing my palm to the ground I repeated the same move which had already killed so many.

'Frost'

Waves upon waves of mana erupted out of my body to fund the power of the ability.

Exhaustion quickly came over me as I fell backward but when I looked up, I was shown a beautiful sight.

Everything was frozen. Ice-covered everything, from the leaves on the ground and the insanely tall trees to every last beast. Everything was captured in ice.

"Hahaha!" Maniacal laughter erupted from me as I enjoyed the wonder of the destruction I brought.

As far as the eye could see was a frozen landscape that didn't care for anything.

No matter the strength of any of the monsters each of them instantly faced death. It didn't matter if they were a newborn level 1 or a century-year-old boss that was level 99. They all had the same fate.

Enjoying the scene for a moment longer I basked in my glory before I made the world come shattering down.

Simple squeezing my fist shut the ice which once covered miles on end broke into particles of ice.

This created a surreal scene that was a hundred times greater than the first time I used the move.

Sparkling ice crystals covered the world as a whole section of the planet came to face my power and suffer.

Crackling sounds were heard all around as the trees that towered over everything came crashing down into nothingness.

A smile that would cause anyone who looked at it to fall into despair appeared on my face.

'This, this is true power. I need more!' I said, addicted to the capabilities I realized I could do.

Rising back up to stand I looked at the now flat land as the only thing to bring personality to the planet was gone.

Nothing came close to being at the height I was, which caused an unimaginable scene to appear. Within the emptiness of the land, only one being stood and that being was the one responsible for the scene.

Now opening my status panel I looked at the never-ending notifications.

*ding*, *ding*, *ding*…

Level up after level up appeared and notices of increased strength surrounded me as I was flooded by messages.
