"What's wrong with you? This is something I saw in a book…" Evelyn Sherman looked at Grace Yakov, bewildered, unable to understand what was wrong with the story she'd told and why it had upset her so much.
"What book? Who gave you the book!" Grace Yakov's mood not only didn't ease when she heard Evelyn's words but instead became even more agitated.
She grabbed Evelyn's hand, which started to tremble. Soon after, her whole body began to tremble.
Evelyn watched as Grace's face turned deathly pale, and her eyes reddened even more, filled with tears. However, she held back and didn't cry out loud.
Evelyn was completely stunned.
Although the story held a different significance for her because she had used it when she was pursuing Chester Yale, it was connected to their sweet memories of the time.
After she broke up with Chester, all they had left were their memories. So, when she wrote the script, she couldn't help but include that story.
But why would Grace Yakov be so emotional…?
