In the dim light, the two stared at each other across a short distance, both of them silent.
Shock filled their eyes.
"How did you end up here?" It took Evelyn Sherman a while to recover from her astonishment and she spoke softly.
There was no shock in Chester Yale's eyes anymore. There was no extra expression on his bewitching face as he said indifferently, "I just finished meeting with a client and was passing by, so I decided to come in."
"Same here. I wanted to eat crawfish, so I came by to buy some," Evelyn stammered as she tried to explain hesitantly.
After speaking, she wanted to slap herself.
How stupid! The film crew and Grand University were in opposite directions. Yet, she somehow managed to use the words 'on the way'.
The next second, before her brain could catch up, her mouth moved faster as she lifted the crawfish and said, "Um, I just bought these. There's a lot. Want to eat together?"
