Ashley's POV

"Ms. Rodriguez!" I just got out of my car when someone called my name.

My brows knitted who it was.

"Mr. Lao?" The old man smiled. He went towards me.

"It's nice to see you here. How are you, Ms. Rodriguez?" I smiled back at him.

"I'm good, Mr. Lao. How about you? What are you doing here? Do you have photoshoots here?" I asked. I was also curious and anxious because one of my former colleagues was here.

"Oh, I don't work at SMI anymore... I resigned 2 years ago... Things get older..." He chuckled.

"And I stayed here. How about you? We didn't saw you after the 50th anniversary of SMI. Are you living here? " He asked.

"Uhm... Something just came up... It's a long story. Anyway yeah, I live here." I pointed at the house in front of us.

"Oh, really? My house is 2 blocks away from yours. I didn't know we're neighbors now. It was nice to have a familiar face in this street. I am your new neighbor." I faked a smile.
