Tyranny

At far west in Country A

A young man was smiling wide as he woke up scaring all his servants with his giddiness. He came done jumping happily on the stairs as he excitedly thought about meeting his beloved Lara.

"Finally, she let me visit her. I can even go and meet her father" he thought out loud while his assistant stared at his face in a daze.

Lu Zihao was in his best mood today. Ever since Lara left for her own country he has been so worried. He has been constantly pestering her to let him visit her because he knew that she didn't like him coming there unannounced so he could only give in. But just yesterday she said he could do whatever he wants so that means he could go meet her and she will be okay with it.

He was henpecked of course and if someone saw that president Lu was like this even before being in a relationship they don't know what will happen next when do get into one.

Lu Zihao and Lara became friends in college. Zihao himself never thought he would fall this hard for Lara but who wouldn't fall in love with his lovely Lara right? But that only reminded him of certain scum.

He smirked as the temperature fell a few degrees down shivering his assistant. He could only pray for the guy well being on who got into trouble with his boss.

Lara could only smile helplessly hearing Lu Zihao go on and on about him coming to meet her. She did know that Lu Zihao liked her but she didn't know what to do with it. She can't fall in love again. Especially after what happened a few years ago, she knew that she can't trust anyone except herself. She knew that every relationship wasn't all flowers like her parent's relationship, she was a wrong judge of character. Now she could only close off.

Lu Zihao was so different that's why she could never push him away as she did with others. He was also her friend the one who chose to support her in the shadows all these years morally.

So she just smiled knowing that she wouldn't have to be alone in this damned city.

Wang Ling entered the room with a few invitations for the parties in the cities.

Lara was satisfied seeing that she already segregated the important ones but got the other ones too just in case to show them once.

"I'll only be attending the Leve's Fashion week. I won't be appearing in any other events unless they are from important people" she explained to Wang Ling who started taking notes seriously. She smiled and gave a thumbs up for her dedication in her head.

"Leve's fashion week will be holding their event next Tuesday and the opening model is Miss Xiong Zhi" she explained with all the other main events of the event along with the important families and individuals attending the event.

Lara felt her back slowly being covered with sweat as the names went on but she held her expression. They were days when she was so happy to hear about these names now they only felt like nightmares of her past.

She knew that by entering the country she had to face these people one or the other day but she didn't know it would be this soon. She felt her throat getting constricted. Her heartbeat started beating faster. She didn't have a panic attack for a year and she thought it was finally gone for good. But she never seemed to move on as it is. She tried to take a deep breath but she only felt worse. Then she felt a soothing ringtone play.

Her heartbeat slowly started to calm down, and tears fell from her eyes as she picked up her phone.

While Wang Ling was panicking seeing her boss cry. Oh my god did she do something wrong that it made her boss cry? Is she getting fired for making her boss cry? Why is she crying? Do people look that pretty crying?

She thousand questions running through her mind. Until the phone started ringing, even she peeked in to see who it was because of the different ringtone.

"Zihao"

Wang Ling thought hard about any Zihao on their team only to shake her head but she was surprised to see her boss stop crying.

Lara picked up the call and put it on speaker as she tried to collect herself. She usually picks it in 3 rings and seeing how long it took Zihao was worried.

"Are you okay?" was the first thing heard on the call. Lara was surprised at how he knew it already. She could tell how worried he was.

"I'm fine," she said but it did sound forced. She regretted it immediately.

"I'm under your company and I'm coming up by the private lift," he said as soon as he heard that. He was planning on hearing her voice and heading back to his condo in the city but hearing her, he knew she just had a panic attack.

Now it was Wang Ling's turn to be stunned. Just who is this guy?
