Volume 3 Extra Part 3: Seraph

" It seems you've changed in this perpetual universe. " Seraphim says to Ragna Twelve as the two meet in the skies.

Using a separate space, she decides to make their conversation as secretive as they can, to block anyone from knowing their very presence as they see things below while soaring in the clouds.

" You seemed to also more adapted to things, Lady Seraphim... " Ragna Twelve tells her, respecting her for being so casual with him despite her great status over him.

" It has been many times for me, to live while serving the True Master (the Creator)... "

" To think my Divine brethren will dare to continue such a twisted world using the [Universal Reboot] Device. "

" The Device is not here, isn't it? " Ragna Twelve asks.

" Yes, the 'Celestial Pantheon' has it, even though where they are now, I couldn't say... " Seraphim replied, she told Twelve about her recent journeys in this Universe and somehow Twelve managed to follow her explanation.

" I am very well aware of everything, Great Archangel! "

" Since some of the things you mentioned have been seen or experienced by myself and my other 'selves'. " Ragna Twelve recounts how many Timelines he had visited the things mentioned by Seraphim.

" I see, so you're saying that I've been looking at things the wrong way? " she asked.

" Yes, for looking for them is not very wise in the first place. "

" Instead of searching them with our full might, like some randomly lost wanderers with no destination, I rather try to find a way to drag them out from their hiding hole. "

" Like dragging out a mouse by giving it cheese to bait them. " Twelve giving her the example.

" Hm... a wise thought, perhaps I've been too focused on performing my duty. " Seraphim says as she probably regrets her choice by now.

" Yeah, I can bear you... "

" Since after hopping from one Timeline after another, I see you Angels, Diviners, and Deviants are all fixated on that one aspect of your life. "

" I don't get why, but it's kinda like that's your life purpose or setting in the first place, an absolute setting that you could not change. " Ragna Twelve says to her.

Hearing that, Seraphim begins to increase her energy, it seems Twelve just hit her in the nerve for doubting her duty as the Creator's attendant.

" Are you saying that my duty is a waste of time!? " Seraphim gets insulted for Ragna Twelve dared to question her duty, even though he only tickled, not even scratch, the surface.

" Hey, hey, hey, I'm not even commenting on your specific duty yet, I'm just asking it generally! " Twelve says as he tries to fend off the blast of wind, performed by Seraphim, as she increased her strength.

" I see so you want to scratch it generally, I see...! "

" Fine then, if this how you want to talk to me, then fine! "

" Based on what you said, yes we did this because this is the main setting in our life, to perform one's duty to eternity. "

" And since the duty is eternal, then I must uphold my duty to destroy the Creator's enemies and punish those who dare break the rules. "

" Including you, Ragna Orion 'Mamoru' Kent from the 12th Timeline. " Seraphim says to him which made Ragna Twelve fret.

" Me! why do I have to- "

" You escaped your Timeline, as a mortal you dared fight a god, letting a Divine Executed escape from her Execution, your granddaughter! "

" And the most critical sin of all, you dared to escape your Timeline, interfering with other Timelines through your Existential Variants, altering events, and even creating many opportunities for the Deviants! " Seraphim recounts what Ragna Twelve has done during his journeys over many Timelines while still in her pressure mode.

Ragna looks down, escaping to see her eyes directly for that is what he did over time in his very existence.

" I know, I... "

" I see you didn't even try to be sorry for your doings, admitting it like it was something that you should've done without a great reason to do... "

" Shall I execute you for this? this is my duty after all. "

" To make sure that the likes of Diviners, Deviants, and YOU are no more! " Seraphim says as she begins to unleash her sword.

" You damn angel, you are that annoyingly strict, yes... " Ragna Twelve says as he releases the magic he accumulated after many Timelines he went through as a mortal whose existence is recorded by the Universal Reboot Device.

" Of course, I do it, it is what she wished for, my granddaughter, she-! " Ragna Twelve remembers Carla's death in his Timeline and the Timelines after it.

" Why did she have to die like that, horribly, after she diligently serves the Divine!? "

" She did things for you all, spoke your secrets to no one, pray every time to you! "

" And this is how you do her fate!? A horrible death, done by you traitors!? " Ragna Twelve says as he also uses the [Twelve Eye of Time] and his Rox Armor*.

Seeing it, Seraphim begins to realize that Twelve is objecting to every piece of evidence she just said to him, Seraphim knows that Twelve didn't submit to her despite his mortal status, even daring to show her some will to fight.

" Oh, don't you dare! " Seraphim sees the signs of defiance from Ragna Twelve, and she then decides to increase her pressure.

While she increases her pressure, she then notices that there are Valkyries coming nearby their location and she then realized that all of his defiant signs are just Ragna Twelve's bait to make sure Seraphim won't do anything to him.

" *Smirks*, calm down Archangel... "

" You wouldn't dare to make the Valkyries pinpoint your location, right? " Ragna Twelve asks.

" After all, they're Loki's Valkyries now. "

" Isn't he one of those you should be worried too aside from me and the others you mentioned? " Ragna Twelve asks.

" Tsk, you... " Seraphim tries to calm her powers down, pressing them so low as her powerful presence immediately disappears in the skies, making the Valkyries can't no longer pinpoint her location which they had no clue to found them no longer as the two also separate their space from reality.

As the Valkyries had a hard time searching, Seraphim then approached Ragna Twelve, still pissed off regarding the thing that happened.

" Fine, it's best to ignore your past doings then... " Seraphim says as she then gives pauses.

" ... "

" I will let you fulfill that foolish world desire for revenge of yours. "

" Thank you, Seraphim I- "

" BUT! " Seraphim interrupts as she approached her face closer to Ragna Twelve with her sharp stare.

" If I see you do something out of your main goal, or perhaps your other Timeline Variants did things out of the line... " Seraphim threatens Twelve.

" I will make sure to do my best to wipe all of your existence, I mean it. " Seraphim says while the Valkyries had gone as they found nothing in the skies the two were at.

" I'll consider it. " Ragna Twelve replied.

" Don't simply consider it, etch these words into your brain and heart. "

" Your other Timeline Variants must know this word of mine as well. " Seraphim says while touching Twelve's chest she touched it as if she's marking the location she would strike first if he does something she told her not to.

" Mark these words, Ragna Twelve... " Seraphim says to Twelve.

" Don't forget what I said today... " she pinched Ragna Twelve's chest, probably she wants to immediately rip out Twelve's Spiritual Sphere Core at that time.

" Even if you're a ghost, unaffected by the physical time, just like me in my Divine Form. "

" Do remember that I could also kill you for you are still a being below me. " Seraphim says as she takes her hand off.

" Now, Ragna Twelve. "

" Return us to the System Space. " Seraphim orders Twelve which Twelve answered silently, opening the Gate while he looks back for a sec.

" What is it? " Seraphim asks about Twelve's behavior.

" It's nothing, let's go. " Ragna Twelve says as both of them leave the skies.

( Meanwhile. )

" What is it? " a bodyguard says while guarding Yukino in her private air transport, for she returns back to Japan.

Yukino feels shivers as she felt herself being watched again.

"( Is it 'Shiro Oni'? what's his intention again? )" Yukino hugs herself for she somehow feels the chill despite her being the expert user of the frost.
