Prologue

It is said that the Kingdom of Aer has three pillars that made it the strongest nation in the Central Continent.

First was the Royal family of Aer. The blood of Dragons is said to run in their veins. Any child born in this family always have exhibited strong physique and magical talent. It is because of this that they have ruled the Kingdom since it's founding.

Second was the Holy Church of Light. It is said the the Lady of Light made all of creation. She is the Goddess of Life, Love, and Light. The Church spreads it's influence throughout the Kingdom, helping the populace and purging any Demonic influence.

Third was the Five Dukes. Only below the Royal Family in power, these five dukes control most of the Kingdom's land. Whitelion of the North, Goldriver of the East, Greenraven of the Center, Blackmoore of the South, and Redfox of the West. Each of these dukedom are a nation into itself. The Dukes hold absolute power in their lands and will only answer to the King.

The Whitelion are strong warriors with their beast-like physique. Their territory produce the strongest armies. Fearless, they will fight until they or their enemies are dead.

The Goldriver prides themselves in their crafts. They are gifted enchanters, capable of forging swords that can cut down mountains.

The Greenraven are unique in their magic to control plants. They can use it to attack, defend, or just simply make then grow. The Greenraven territory is the breadbasket of the Kingdom, supplying almost an eighth of the entire food of the Kingdom.

The Redfox are cunning. They have ears and eyes everywhere. Their influence stretch to even faraway continents. They hear and see all.

Lastly, the Blackmoore has dominion over the seas. They are accomplished sailors and coupled with their mastery in Water Magic, none who opposed them in the seas lived to tell their tales.

Eric was born into one of these families, the Blackmoore.

All children from these five families are expected to honor their legacy and become as strong, if not stronger, than the ones before them. It is because of this that those who are born without talent are often scorned.

Eric was born the older twin. His other twin was a girl named Aqua.

From a young age, both Elric had Aqua have shown incredible talent in Water Magic. They have learned how to summon and control water even before they learned how to walk.

Reaching Master rank in Water Magic by age ten, both are hailed as geniuses.

Yet no one has foresaw an incoming disaster.

As both children were in the middle of the sea training how to command a ship, a storm suddenly hit them. Their boats sunk and they were lost to the waves. No matter how strong they were, none could ever hope to match the strength of a disaster.

Three days later, the twins were found in a nearby port. Elric was hugging is sister tight, as if protecting her from the world. They were encased in a cocoon of water, acting like a shield.

The two were rescued and cared for until they recovered.

Aqua recovered quickly and even gained insight from the incident, giving her control over the weather itself.

Eric on the other hand, seemingly lost his ability and developed a great fear over the seas.
