I Just Want to Live Leasurely but Everyone Keeps on Bothering Me!

Elric Blackmore was an avid role-playing player in the VRMMO Dawn's Light. He was one of the best players in the game and the only solo player to enter the top leaderboards. He was not the strongest but he was the most versatile and the most annoying player to fight. Eric Blackmoore was the weak and talentless son of a Duke. Ridiculed and scorned due to his lack of talent in magic, he turned to being a wastrel to fill the void in his heart. These two people should have never met but fate had a different opinion. Waking up in the body of his alternate with the abilities of his game character, Elric has never been more confused in his life. ------------ I post chapters as I write them. It's been years since I last written something so don't expect me to write that fast. Updates are irregular.

Chapter 1

Elric woke up with a familiar headache. Such wasn't an uncommon occurrence for him.

He just spent the last two days clearing a newly found dungeon all by himself. He drowned his exhaustion with R*dbull, coffee, and m*untain d*w.

Of course the crash would be as hard as how they were pushing him this past weekend.

Of course, waking up to a bright sky doesn't help his headache one bit.

And that is the question. How the f*ck is he outside?! The last thing he remembered was falling asleep in his VR Fulldive Capsule after looting the dungeon.

Absentmindedly, Elric reached out and his entire hand disappeared within a hole in reality.

"Dafuq?!" Swearing loudly, Elric withdrew his hand like it was burned.

Looking at the hole in reality, Elric sighed.

'Its just the item box. Where is my HUD though?' Elric thought.

Shaking his head, Elric stood up wobbly.Only for him to fall down again as a rush of memories entered his mind.

'Eric.... magic.... trauma.....sister....family.....'

After digesting the memories, Elric's mind only thought of one thing.

'Isekai.'

It seemed that he has been transmigrated into his alternate self!

Once again, Elric tried to stand up. This time, a white staff with a stellated octahedron on the top.

"[Stellar Calling]?" Elric muttered out. It was the name of his staff in game.

With practiced ease, Elric commanded and the staff vanished into motes of light.

Another command and a tome appeared.floating in front of him.

'And now it's the [Blank Grimoire].' Elric thought.

He dismissed the tone which vanished like the staff.

'If I got it right, then I might have my in game abilities. Let's find out.'

"<Multi>Cast:Water Ball <Modify:Shape:Velocity>"

Water coalesced into five orbs above Elric. The orbs shuddered and turned into lances which then shot forward hitting some trees in the distance, drilling holes into a tree and other trees behind it.

At the successful casting, Elric was now a hundred percent sure that he has his game abilities.

'Is this my cheat?' Elric chuckled.

Then, a crown of thorns appeared in his head. Despite the thorns digging into his skin, he felt no pain.

[Faerie King's Crown], one of the 100 EX-grade items.

EX-grade items are one of a kind items in game. Only a single copy of these items exist in game. These items cannot be traded, stolen, or destroyed. Only when the holder dies will it spawn randomly into the world for another player to find it. Elric has two of them.

[Faerie King's Crown] gives the player the ability to make a territory in a pocket dimension similar to a guild base. However, instead of being anchored to a single area like a Guild Base, the pocket dimension itself is attached to the crown, enabling Elric to enter or exit his Territory with ease. It also gives a slight movement speed boost, small fractional healing, and the ability to summon up to 10 faeries to help with resource gathering, scouting, or crafting.

Of course such items would destroy the game balance if not handled properly so it has a drawback that it can only be used outside combat and it is useless during combat. It offers no additional stat bonuses and permanently takes up an equipment slot.

With a flick of his hand, mushrooms sprouted underneath Elric and he vanished in a flash of light.

Elric appeared in a massive library filled with endless books. Maids, faeries, and other creatures were moving about. Some were carrying books, some were cleaning, and some were just lazing around.

This was his Territory, the [Librarium Aeternia].

The Eternal Library.

"Mastah!" A palm sized fairy wearing a maid outfit flew over.

"Hello Sage," Elric greeted her.

"Mastah, why are you human again?" Sage asked.

"Some circumstances happened," Elric replied. Sage was one of his first creation, even before he used [Race Change] to be a [Spirit]. "Anyways, something happened and I want all of you to be ready. I might call some of you suddenly for combat."

"heh! No worries Mastah! I'm always ready to kill!" Sage cheered out.

Elric smiled at the Fae. She seems more animated and lively than the one from the game.

After checking out the library, Elric returned to the real world.

"Eeeep!"

Only to end up in between a girl and a few dozen armed men.
