Ruan Ruan's Bedroom

Mu Shen took Ruan Ruan downstairs after washing their hands.

Hand in hand, they walked down together. Ruan Ruan, holding Mu Shen's finger, giggled and smiled mischievously, making him glance at her several times.

She's such a silly little girl.

The dining table was filled with a variety of dishes. After Mu Shen sat down, Ruan Ruan pulled a stool next to him and sat down, handling it all by herself.

"What's that for?" Mu Shen stared at Ruan Ruan.

"I want to sit next to Dad," Ruan Ruan said, climbing onto the stool without any help, showcasing her independence.

With her seat secured, she smiled at Mu Shen.

"Dad, let's eat. Why aren't Butler and the others eating?" she asked curiously.

"We'll eat in a moment," the butler replied, smiling at Ruan Ruan.

"Okay then." Ruan Ruan focused on her meal and, when she found something delicious, she'd pick some up and place it in Mu Shen's bowl.

"This is delicious, Dad. You should eat more to stay healthy."

Mu Shen noticed an extra vegetable in his bowl.

The butler: "..."

He felt a cold sweat forming; after all, the young master had germaphobia and disliked others touching his belongings, especially his food.

The other servants gasped in shock.

Oh no, will the young master scold little Ruan Ruan? The butler was already thinking of how to save her from this situation, but to his surprise, Mu Shen remained silent for a moment before picking up the vegetable and eating it.

He questioned if he was seeing things. He touched his forehead, and indeed, he hadn't imagined it. The young master ate it!

The butler had already bought a range of items for the puppy, including a luxurious doghouse, toys, and everything else. The only thing they didn't need was dog food, as Little White preferred meat and bones.

After organizing everything, they moved it all to the guest room next to Ruan Ruan's bedroom.

"Ruan Ruan, this will be Little White's living area from now on."

Ruan Ruan's eyes widened.

"Little White gets to live in such a big place!"

She felt envious.

The butler smiled and said, "Your room is right next door, my dear. Since you came in a hurry, we'll make do with it tonight, and tomorrow, I'll have someone redecorate your room according to your preferences."

"Can I go see it?" Ruan Ruan's eyes sparkled, suddenly excited.

"Of course." The butler immediately led her there. Little White, who was chewing on a toy bone, abandoned its new toy and followed Ruan Ruan with its short legs.

Ruan Ruan's room was adjacent to Mu Shen's master bedroom. It had good lighting, second only to Mu Shen's room, and was decorated in his style.

The room was spacious, predominantly in dark tones, with a serious and cold atmosphere, just like Mu Shen's bedroom. However, it had a contrasting white furry carpet on the floor, which seemed somewhat out of place in the overall style.

Ruan Ruan placed her slippers by the door and stepped onto the furry carpet with her bare, fair feet.

The butler also took off his shoes and followed her in, while Little White entered without shoes, as it had none.

Ruan Ruan carefully stepped on the soft carpet.

Her round toes were like beautiful little pearls, and her neatly trimmed nails added to the charm.

She wiggled her round toes, looking adorable just like herself.

"Haha... It feels the same as stepping on Big White and the others."

She hopped around joyfully, but mentioning Big White made her miss them a bit.

"Ah-woo..." Little White rolled over to her feet, and Ruan Ruan gently patted its belly with her foot.

"Little White is soft, just like Ruan Ruan."

The butler watched the joyful duo and smiled warmly.

"The young master ordered the blankets to be prepared. This way, even if you accidentally fall, it won't hurt."

Hearing that Mu Shen arranged everything, Ruan Ruan's eyes sparkled with excitement. She grabbed the butler's sleeve and looked at him eagerly.

The butler led Ruan Ruan to the balcony. The moon was full tonight, and the night sky was beautiful, adorned with sparkling stars.

"Such beautiful flowers!" Ruan Ruan exclaimed, pointing at the potted orchids on the balcony.

The butler smiled and said, "These are orchids. They're lovely and fragrant, just like Miss Ruan Ruan."

Ruan Ruan giggled happily, feeling even more excited about her new room.

After some playful moments on the balcony, the butler left Ruan Ruan to sleep in her bedroom. He went to Mu Shen's room, where he found him standing by the floor-to-ceiling windows, holding a paternity test report, and gazing at the moonlit night.

Mu Shen's eyes were deep and heavy, and he seemed lost in thought.

The butler approached quietly, observing the tension in Mu Shen's fingertips as he held the report, his thin lips slightly pursed as if he was suppressing something.

"She is my daughter, but... how is it possible?" Mu Shen murmured, his eyebrows furrowed, facing a seemingly insurmountable challenge.
